    Mini mushroom crepes
    Katherine Y.

My work hire Gourmondo for an appreciation event today and the spread was just beautiful. The little veggie and hummus cups are like little plants. They were tasty and cute. My favorite was the mini crepes with mushrooms. The corn with steak was also a favorite among everyone.

This is great catering for large groups. So many delicious options to choose from. The food was yummy and filling.

Half eaten Roasted Veggie Bowl (sorry not the best picture I know!)

Gourmet catering company with wholesome, creative breakfast, lunch boxes, and platters! I've tried a bunch of their items at this point! Love the variety if options they have! I've tried the following: Vegetarian Roasted Vegetable Bowl (Roasted Fennel & Baby Carrots Over Lentils with Lemon Yogurt, Kale, Pistachios and Za'atar), Soba Noodle Bowl, Composed Vegetable Bowl, and a bunch of their sandwich boxes. I LOVE how they support charities and name each bowl after each :) The bowl itself was super fresh and flavorful, and had the home-cooked but also professionally made quality. That lemon yogurt was wow! The other items seemed amazing as well!

I used Gourmondo for an event last night and everything was great. I've hired Gourmondo many times over the years and always highly recommend them as their food is always so good Several in my group decided to split our sandwiches and salads, so we could try a number of different things. I had a slice of the Turkey Bacon sammy, Pork Bahn Mi sammy, Sumac Veggie sammy and Soba Noodle & Antioxidant Boost salads and they were all yummy and freshly made. The delivery was on time and everyone at the event was also really happy with their meals. The mini chocolate bundt cake and GF cookie were also delish!! Several of the options I ordered benefit local charities, which is such a great thing to do. (Ate too fast to take photos of most of the food, oops)

I am extremely happy with the customer service, boxed meal options, efficient delivery, and affordability provided by Gourmondo's. I have utilized their services for 95% of my customer lunches and it be 100% if delivery zones stretched as far north to the boarder. My customers really appreciate the meal options, as there's something for everyone and are mindful of all dietary restrictions. The delivery team is truly my invisible superhero that I can't thank enough; I walk into (physically and/or virtually) appointments and I'm greeted by "thank you for lunch, it's so good!!!" If possible call within 24 hrs of the event date; I highly recommend Gourmondo for any business meal need!!!

    Steak Salad box lunch

I had a very good experience with Gourmondo's! I would like to commend them with their lunch box preparations. I ordered 50 box lunches to pay appreciation to our construction team for Safety Week. I am exteremly happy with the preparations. Everything was individually wrapped, which was very important due to covid restrictions on buffet style catering. The boxes are filled with so many delicious things. You get a sandwich, a salad, a roll with butter, a bag of chips, brownie, and a mint. Yes they may be a little more on the pricey end but you get what you pay for. They arrived exactly on time as well and my appreciation event went very smoothly. On top of all of that, several of the boxes profits go to various charities, which is an added bonus in helping our community during the Covid crisis. They also have all kinds of gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options as well. I had the CHILDHAVEN BOX: Svaneti Spiced Steak Salad with Candied Walnuts, Blue Cheese, Pickled Red Onions, Green Leaf-Romaine Mix and a Fig-Balsamic Vinaigrette, which was delicious! And we had extra so I got to take home the YOUTHCARE BOX Passionfruit Chicken and Orzo Pasta Salad with Basil, Cashews, Scallions, Parmesan Cheese, Chili Flakes, Arugula, Bok Choy, Sesame-Soy Vinaigrette. Both were awesome! No complaints. Thanks Gourmondos!

We have asked Gourmondo to deliver for a group of 8 people a lunch catering during a full day meeting. We have received three dishes: - Soy Sesame Salmon - Bolognas Meat Lasagne - Soba Noodle Salad See pictures attached. The Salmon was cold just as well as the Noodle Salad. For this catering I was charged $288, which I think is completely exaggerated. I am not saying that the quality is bad, though not exceptional, but the pricing is just out of control. There are so many good place around our office (we are downtown 4th/pike Street) that it is just as easy to walk downstairs, spend $120 on food and have significantly more reasonable price/performance ratio, than delivered by Gourmondo for $288. It is not that I am not sued to US-pricing, which I find usually not over the top comparing to other places around the world, but it is certainly a case of completely overpriced in this case. I cannot recommend Gourmondo, I'm afraid.

    Passion fruit chicken

This was one of the best lunch boxes I've had!! My company catered this and I was beyond impressed. First of all, the passion fruit chicken was super delicious, and their chips and dessert complemented the lunch box very well :) The box was very luxurious which added to the experience! This would be perfect for any occasions, casual lunch or catering for events!

Wow is that a "panini"? $15 dls wow subway its way better and cheaper... I don't have words to describe my experience.... NEVER AGAIN

Raw piece of pork. My coworkers pork banh mi looks worse. Supposedly "grilled". How can they not see this when they assemble it??

Got pork banh mi for catering. RAW. My coworkers had the same issue and theirs were even more raw. I don't understand how they don't know it's not fully cooked when they have to assemble the banh mi...food inspection should know about this. Always check your food!

We had our annual event on October 8th at the Edmonds Waterfront Center with Shooby Doo catering as…read morethe food vendor. The Waterfront Center has them as an exclusive contract so we had no choice but to use this caterer. We signed up with them back in 2020 believing that we would have an in-person event in 2021 but the Delta virus made us have to do a virtual event. Shooby-doo refused to refund our significant down-payment, so we were stuck with them for a future opportunity. Which we utilized them, as I said, on October 8th 2022. The tasting that we did those years ago was absolutely wonderful. The food was quite delicious. And that team worked with us to make sure that we would have a really good selection of food items to meet all pallets, allergies, and so forth. Thus, the food is quite expensive. The major issue that we had with this company is that we are a non-profit organization and have to abide by state guidelines in regard to serving alcohol. It was almost impossible to work with Scooby-Doo on this issue because they had really bad information that they kept telling us was accurate. It was not good. It took weeks on end to finally get them to deal with the state directly and understand that we were correct and we would not do anything that would potentially jeopardize our nonprofit status. In the end it was resolved well but the frustration that we were put through is still something that has a scab on the wound. One expects for someone who is providing a service that particularly has to meet state guidelines would know what they are doing and what they are talking about. And not asking us to work in a gray area. And that's what we were told over and over again. "Just work in the gray area", but like I said it was finally resolved. One other minor thing that was aggravating but we dealt with quickly was them wanting us to get more alcohol than we needed. We got what we knew we needed and still had a few bottles left over. And the only other minor aggravation was they didn't know their full contract the evening of when everything was said and done. They thought we were supposed to be out of the building at 10:00 p.m. but we were actually scheduled to be out by midnight. Again it got resolved but it was something else to add to a more stressful moment in time. Now on to the good stuff: The night of the event was extraordinary. Their employees had everything set up in advance as it was supposed to be and the venue looked amazing. They were so friendly, accommodating, and easy to work with. They literally catered to our every need asking questions along the way to make sure that we were satisfied before our guests even arrived. The staff members were amazing. The food was out of the ballpark extraordinary. People absolutely loved the food. We had a double-sided buffet in order to make things would go smooth and quickly. I'm glad we opted for that rather than having them serve the dishes. It worked well. I'm absolutely sure that we would never use Shooby Doo again for our agency events, because of the massive issues we had with them in the beginning. However, I do think they would be good for things that are not related to being a non-profit: Like weddings, birthdays, small corporation celebrations, and such. If you're considering Shooby Doo to cater your nonprofit organization, be careful, be warned, and make sure you check everything, especially the legality around alcohol service. Also, know and monitor the contract so that you know exactly what's in it. While the service was excellent the night of, and the food was extraordinary, the price tag on this event was far more than we anticipated. We recognize that food costs are up and inflation is a nightmare but this is a very expensive catering service. Scooby-Doo gets a five star on the food quality and the evening of service. They get a one star on the knowledge on working with nonprofits, or at least with our non-profit. They get a negative 5 for not allowing us to get our down-payment back when the Delta virus came and shut everything down for everyone. I feel they should have offered it back with perhaps a small penalty but they did not so we were forced to have to use them a couple years later. I thought that was absolutely ridiculous. I told them that I would give an honest review. And this review is that.

Despite hearing positive feedback about them, we were disappointed with both the service and the pricing. While the food itself was satisfactory, the service fell short of our expectations. The staff, particularly the head staff member, displayed below-average professionalism and a snarky attitude. Additionally, the setup did not align with what was agreed upon and promised beforehand. Despite planning for 90 guests, the seating arrangements only accommodated 64, causing inconvenience and dissatisfaction among attendees. During the event, the catering staff were conspicuously absent, leaving us to pick up the slack and handle tasks that should have been their responsibility. Adding to our frustration was the unexpected 23% additional fee, which the catering company failed to justify adequately. When questioned about this fee, we were met with vague explanations about covering costs, which left us feeling misled because they also leave room for minimum of 16% tip that must be paid BEFORE experiencing their service. You do the math. Overall, while the venue itself was stunning, the experience with Shooby Doo catering staff left a lot to be desired. The combination of subpar service, unexplained fees, and high pricing makes it difficult to recommend their services to others. You still have to use them if you have an event at the Waterfront. Don't get the chocolate cookies, or the deviled eggs on toast. If you go for the fruit plate, this cost us $1,710 plus tax. ($19 a person). The empanadas were yummy, the beef sliders were finished, and people complimented the salmon in puff pastry.

I ordered the Tijuana Burrito with chicken. It is supposed to come with rice, cilantro, onions, lettuce, cheese and beans. Unfortunately, it was almost all rice and really bland. There was just one bite of chicken, almost none of their homemade beans and some lettuce. Then they did not seem to have any cheese, but did have some sour cream (maybe they ran out of cheese, but should have told people). The burrito was $19 and no excuse to pack it full of rice. This was really disappointing, the food vendors here are usually excellent (my wife was smarter and had a sandwich from Purple and loved it). Perhaps the tacos or Baja Bowl are better.

It's parked in a lot that's within walking distance of my site and I imagine quite a few other places as when I would look out the window, I'd see a few people ordering each time. I decided to go with the "Street tacos" - It comes with not 3 but 4 tacos, on corn tortillas (instant points for this) and the usual other accompaniments - radish, onion, sauce. I got the 2 asada and 2 Soy chorizo as you can mix and match. The asada was good, not the best I've had when it comes to tacos and the seasoning I've had with comparable tacos, but the soy chorizo was really good. Very impressive flavor. It was about $16 I believe so about $4 a taco, not the most egregious I've seen in pricing, but decent. I also got bag of tortilla chips free, but they did give any salsa. The ones included for the tacos also were pretty small. That all said the food is decent and if you're looking for some food truck tacos and see Isidros, they'll do the trick.
