I purchased a laptop online from Infotech Computers. The machine was not working properly. I asked them to fix but they couldn't do that. When I asked for a refund, I was told that there would be a 20% deduction. I requested a replacement and they showed me a computer which was more expensive. The salesman demanded $195 for that machine. When I calculated the price I was shocked to know that the salesman was overcharging $60 more. They are dishonest people and try to cheat the customer. They are dishonest, unprofessional, and rude. I don't recommend buying from Infotech Computers at all. Please, don't waste your money on buying stuff from this site. read more

This place is a dangerous to shop, the owner is involved with serious credit card fraud. The computers & drives installed in theses machines come from a recycling company down the street on finch, the owner will gladly sell to you on the side if you are willing to fix the broken machines they sell for a fraction of the price. they illegally sell equipment contracted by banks school etc to be destroyed but resold to theses guys so if you get a call from the cops for stolen/confidential equipment, u know what u now paid for. their equipment comes from some recycling company down finch. all the laptops have their drives double-sided taped & edges glued down, the same machines are given for free at freegeek. -This is a serious buyer beware - can always return them at 18 anderson ave, but its a bit of a drive. read more

Unacceptable service, lack of professionalism and what appears to be a complete ignorance of the products they're selling. My first interaction with them was ordering a used monitor on a friday. Monday, I was told that the monitor was no longer available and that I would be refunded. Ok, inventory issues, it happens. My next order, I ordered a monitor listed as a ASUS VE248 for 100$. It turns out this was incorrectly listed, and was worth twice the price. The order is cancelled again, and I ask for the specs and model number to see if I would rather have that monitor instead. I receive a list of near-irrelevant specs which do not really detail the value of the monitor, but after some research I find out it's a 144hz VG248QE gaming monitor. This information was not included in their email, which makes me suspect they can't even tell the difference between important monitor specs. Ok, inventory mislabeling, this is getting annoying but the free shipping appeals to me, so I suppose I'll order another monitor. Third time's the charm, right? Nope. This order actually arrived, but instead of being a HP Z24i, it's a LA2405WG with unlisted black marks and scratches on it. In a U-HAUL box 3 times oversized. At this point, I'm pretty annoyed and email them about the subject. It turns out that they sent it to me on purpose, with the excuse being that it's a ''newer model'' (Latest reviews I could find for the LA2405WG were from 2010. From what I can see, this is entirely incorrect.) All I'm offered is a refund after shipping it back to them. This has been my worst experience shopping online so far, and I've ordered many different products from sites like aliexpress, ebay, etc. Don't risk it like I did. read more

I can confirm the management's deplorable behavior seen in Robin T.'s review is typical. My intended business there was buying two thinkpads and selling some leftover hardware. While waiting for someone to verify my hardware is good the manager at cash was having a fun time with loud gossip with someone in the back past me, he casually said f@g? Bad sign. I continued to wait for a quote, they verified the hardware, offer was not impressive but I did not yet turn it down as I was going to dump it(ended up donating it instead), meanwhile I was recording prices of computers with my phone. Strangely salesman admitted to using such anemic power supplies in dedicated graphics systems that the best part I had(150W consumption) would force him to use a better PSU in his systems. He is selling non-PFC PSUs, not a good sign: Regulation EN61000-3-2 is followed by all laptop and desktop PSU makers these days. A customer who wants to learn a field I work in, video editing, was looking at an i5, I said the i7 was great and the sales guy had no problem with me up-selling for them, the adult student said he uses Vegas, a suite I'm familiar with, used it before Davinci. When I called the owner he refused to agree hate speech in the workplace is unacceptable or taking advantage of people, even hypothetically, also had the inane idea that the customer buying their i7 system with an appropriate part he was about to get from me is soliciting, has the deranged idea that me asking his salesman if his actions were worth the bad PR was a threat? He considers negative reviews "revenge reviews", which is ironic since his replies show revenge instead of professionalism. I'm glad I did not buy anything from him over the years, have been selling him junk from my company e-waste room, continuing to do that. Bunch of crooks, called them to get an estimate of my laptop, they gave me a reasonable estimate so i drove an hour to go to them, when i reached there they reduced the price from estimate by 50%. I was so pissed but the rude guy who was dealing with me said "its not up for discussion" sell it at this price or not. it had a screen issue which i told them before. they broken it even more "for testing purposes" and blamed it on different reason. they are tech company so have ALOT of paid faked reviews or eles the kind of customer service i got, cant believe they can get any rating above 1 read more

They didn't have the item I wanted in stock after purchasing it from them online. They offered me another monitor (same size/price) for a replacement but the max resolution of the other monitor was much lower, so they tried to trade down for an inferior product, hoping I wouldn't notice. They wouldn't do anything else for me except issue a full refund. Horrible customer service and sales team. Will not ever buy from them again. read more

I called in to ask about a computer i seen them advertise on kijiji, talked to tyler. He is knowledgable and helpful. I got down there and parking is limited. There is about 4 spots in front, and its paid street parking. $1.50 per hour. After 15-20mins of talking and asking tyler questions. I decided to buy the computer. I think i got a good deal on this computer, and on the yelp app, there was 10%off when you check in. The owner honored it, even though it was apparently an old promotion. Happy with service!! 90 day warranty on the computer gives me a piece of mind. 4 stars for this experience. read more
