Fantastic coffee and a perfectly flaky croissant! The service was both friendly and fast, a great spot for a quick, quality bite with great ambiance. Highly recommend!

Nice outdoor eating area and pet friendly. Easy front parking area for customers. I ordered scrambled egg bagel delicious and fast service.

The coffee was very good, vanilla latte wasn't too sweet. Nice and hot with good taste. Friendly service and some comfortable seating if you can keep other people's dogs from humping your leg. Literally. One rogue dog owner allowed her canine to roam around long-leashed while she buried her attention in her laptop. Meanwhile, little Fido was on the prowl and his leash attached to a seat leg wasn't stopping his libido. The food is just ok IMO. The gluten free bowl was disappointing but points for the effort. The bagel scramble with cheese was filling and hot, but bland. Ask for some hot sauce. The fruit and granola yogurt cup was good, the yogurt is plain Greek variety not vanilla.

I guess I'm reduced to "black vested lady"... kinda weird that's on the receipt.

Used to live in the neighborhood so came all the time around 2011ish. I had a strange craving this morning for the mozz 2. So I drove the 8 miles to get it. I also got a decaf blended one and a bagel scramble to go so I can munch through the day. Shop is still cute and looks like it got a lite facelift since I was last here. Yummy!

The perfect spot to have a coffee and a bite to eat! Had an oat iced latte and the Mozz 1 sandwich. Both were very good! I also brought my dog and they were very dog friendly. Even gave her a treat! The outdoor seating area is spacious and plentiful. Restrooms are accessible from the exterior but a key is required

I've been to this Influx a few times and have always had great experiences. The coffee is always good and so is their food. There is ample seating inside and outside which is great as it can get crowded at times. Overall, a great local coffee shop in North Park!

Eagerly awaiting my sandwich

This place is like Cheers for me... they know my name, they know my order. Always the best quality. Always genuine and lovely. When I was in grad school it was a great Saturday morning option for me to get some work done. (I enjoy being near the hustle and bustle when I study.) The food options (breakfast AND lunch) are family favorites. My kids love the breakfast bagel ("eggy sandwich" in our house); and I have a hankering for the Mozzarella #1 at least once a week. (Add the olive tapenade... you're welcome.) And don't miss the desserts! You'll be glad you grabbed one to take with you!

The pba and iced dirty chai !

Delicious! Lots of space and tables to work during the work day. Love the pba and iced chai. Wide range of open face bagels for different flavor preferences. Fast Wi-Fi!

The BCT (bacon, cream cheese, tomatoes, salt & pepper) on a toasted everything bagel. A simple and delicious combination!

I love Influx, they serve Cafe Moto coffee which is my favorite roaster in San Diego, they have tasty bagels (and salads and sandwiches), the atmosphere is very chill and quiet (great place to sit with your laptop and get some work done), lots of seating both indoors and outdoors, and everyone working here is so darn nice! It will take a little time to get your coffee and food so hopefully you aren't in a huge rush, but it's worth the wait.

I love the habanero bagel, it's one of my favorites, but just be warned it is very hot. Definitely don't eat it without something cold to drink. They also have a breakfast sandwich called the San Diego which is a favorite of several people I know. You chose the bagel you want it with and they add fried eggs, bacon, cheese and aioli. I highly reccomend it. I've not had a lot of their deinis, but i did order the cinna-bee which has honey, cinnamon, espresso and milk. I thought it was good and would order it again. Definitely check them out and try some of their bagels, or perhaps one of their sandwiches.

This place is serious about their New York bagels it's pretty much just bagels; they serve some brew coffee and a fridge for drinks but the bagels are their sole focus. Onto the bagel- I've never had it from New York but this bagel makes me want to book a trip asap. It's so fluffy and fresh and everything you want in a bagel. I'll say that there are some bagel spots that are adventurous with their culinary toppings. This place sticks to the tried and true sandwich combos. I got the bec (bacon, egg, cheese) but with ham. It was good and basic, seasoned w salt and pepper, but that bagel really made the sandwich for me. What I love about this spot is how dog friendly it is! There's a treat jar at the counter and they converted part of the sidewalk space to a little grassy spot for the pups. Parking is street parking but I did notice a sign for ADA spots in the back of the spot. I got it to go but seating is limited due to how popular it is. The patio has the most selection &; tables. There's a handful of spots inside but you'd be sitting in between all the ppl ordering/ waiting for their meal. My advice would be to try to go during one of their slower times. On a popular Sunday morning it was about 15min in line to order, then 15-20 min wait. I was in no hurry and grabbed a latte next door while waiting, but close to an hour for a bagel might be a lot for some

Construction was happening on the street right in front of the restaurant so we parked around the corner and walked through Madeline's patio to get there. That was a little awkward, but nothing that was Marigold's fault. Just know that parking is an issue even without construction. We placed our orders and found a seat. When our name was called, I picked up the order came back to the seat, divvied out everybody's order, open my box and noticed that mine was incorrect. Now the woman that rang me up was very nice. I tipped the highest on their iPad. And my order was wrong. This happens more often than not now and it makes me reluctant to want to tip if you're not going to fill the order correctly and then I have to wait for it to be fixed. They were nice about it, but it's so annoying and it's becoming a problem everywhere we go. The bagels were good and if I didn't need to drive there, I would probably go more often. I am surprised that they did not have coffee drinks like lattes, etc. just drip coffee. And juices. It seems like in this day and age every little restaurant has baristas as well. So if you just want a bagel and drip coffee or some kind of juice Marigold is your place.

Oh Nomad Donuts how I love you. This place is a local gem that offers craft donuts, breakfast…read moresandwiches, and fun rotating drinks. My favorite part of the start of a new month is checking their monthly drink and donut specials. This month nothing really called my name but they did have a weekend special that really appealed to me. I have had some of their bagel style sandwiches before and ohhhh goodness they are good. This time it was my favorite style of sandwich, a bahn mi. I had high hopes because of the picture they posted on their social media and just the level of creativity they usually bring. Considering it's North Park, I knew ordering online would be the best option and picking up. My estimated time was 15-20 minutes but it only took them under 10. I got an order ready notification before I even left the house. I got there and it was dead, maybe one other person in and out. There's a lot of seating inside and some outside on their patio. They also have different counters for ordering and pick up which helps speed things up. My experience with service was very transactional, nothing bad just nothing to really highlight. Let's talk about this bahn mi. It's promoted as marinated and charred pork shoulder, house made sweet aioli, nuoc cham compound butter, pickled carrot and daikon, mint, cilantro, and jalapeño on a locally sourced Paris baguette. First off, nuoc cham compound butter?? YES. That is the kind of creativity I love to see. I got my sandwich and the wrapper was pretty oily so the sandwich itself looked kind of glossy. The whole thing felt a little rushed, like everything was just thrown on. I will say I wasn't expecting a generous amount of meat but they delivered in that aspect. I first wanted to try the compound butter on its own and it had a slight nuoc cham flavor, but in the sandwich it didn't really stand out past all the bolder flavors. Now if you've seen my other reviews, the best part of a bahn mi to me is the pickled daikon and carrots. These might be the best I have ever had anywhere. They are exactly how I prefer them, sweet with a slight acidity and THICK CUT. The crunch on these... please let me buy a whole jar. The bread was alright, they mention they source it locally so it's not made in house, but mine leaned a little old and I could tell through the texture. The pork was marinated really well, I do wish some of the pieces were more charred because you could see where some of it didn't hit direct flame. This also came with a side of what tasted like a hoisin vinaigrette. I liked the creativity but felt like the sandwich didn't need it. It was way too acidic and strong and there's not much need for that sharp vinegar hit here. I paired my bahn mi with a miso caramel matcha latte. This was expensive, a 12oz for $8 is steep even for matcha. It was good but not amazing. It leans more sweet than matcha forward. The miso caramel actually surprised me though. At other cafes it usually comes off more like a salted caramel, but here it had more depth, slightly savory, and when mixed with the milk it came out really creamy and smooth. The matcha was a little grainy though. Overall I will definitely be back and will keep my eye out for more specials because that's where they really shine. And seriously, if they ever let me buy those pickled carrots and daikon by the jar, I'm there immediately.

I'd probably try it with an add on of tomato the next time. The ice strawberry matcha is pretty good too. Overall, it's a pretty cool spot for a quick bite!
