RUN FAR AWAY!!!! On 5/27/23 I reserved an inflatable water slide for a birthday party to be held on 06/21/23 from Inflatable Adventures via their web site. Since the party was outdoors I had been monitoring the weather conditions the weeks and days leading up to the event. On 6/16/23 the weather conditions for the day of the party (6/21/23) were forecast to be Windy with a chance of Rain and Cooler temperatures. We contacted Inflatable Adventures to advise them of the weather forecast and asked that the reservation be moved to 6/28/23. We were advised that their cancellation policy for inclement weather had to be made ONLY in a window of the day before the event and HAD to meet a condition of 50% chance of rain. No where did I sign off on her agreement to dangerously high winds/wind gusts, the policy also states that the inflatables CANNOT be used in winds in excess of 15mph. The wind on 6/21/23 was 17mph with sustained gusts of 36mph. Our request to change the date of the reservation was denied and I was 50% of the rental fee. I attempted to explain to the company that I was trying to be proactive with the weather forecast and did not want to gamble with my money and their time by waiting until the day before the event to cancel. I explained that I wished to stay as a customer and only to change the date of my event, but my request was not considered. I made the decision to change the date of my event regardless of their decision and did not make a new reservation with them. On 6/21/23 I received a text message from Inflatable Adventures advising that due to the weather conditions they had allowed ALL of their customers the option to cancel their reservations EXCEPT for me because I attempted to notify them of the imminent weather conditions too soon. ALL of the conditions to cancel without penalty in accordance with their policy were present on the date of my event. Bottom line company is unwilling to accommodate customers, and merchant not flexible one bit on weather or safety concerns. Yet their policy clearly states they "reserve the right to cancel your order without any cost due to high winds, dangerous weather conditions, Covid related closures, in house Covid exposures or staffing shortages." read more

Having organized a private/local block party for 20 years, booking countless vendors, our experience working with Cheryl is easily the worst we have ever encountered. With only three days remaining before our event, she requested that we incur an additional 60% increase on the total cost to add paid attendants to all bounce houses after hearing that our party was going to be over 200 people. Important to note that she never asked about how many people would be in attendance at the time of booking. This only became an issue when she called on a Tuesday to try to persuade us to move our event from a Saturday to a Sunday due to a long range forecast(ridiculous). This is where things go very far off the rails. She then informed us that she took the liberty of notifying the state to register our block party for the safety of the people that would be in attendance. This is when she also revealed the critical need for paid attendants onsite to avoid potential fines of up to $2000 per instance if the bounce houses were found to be unsupervised at any moment during the event because state officials would now be onsite to inspect the event. She then lied about contacting another vendor about our party to build her case as to why she needed the additional attendants. I confirmed this lie by speaking with that vendor in person. He offered to join a 3 way call with her because she has aparrently has done this to many others in the past. In the end, she actually did us a huge favor by forcing us to source another company to accommodate our event. Cheryl is a deceitful and diluted business owner that tried to cover her mistake and flipped the issue to the customer instead of dealing with it head on, claiming she was adding the cost under the guise of creating a safe environment(PLEASE!). If she would have asked the proper qualifying questions up front, we would not have booked her in the first place, sparing us the stress of having to change vendors soo close to the event. BTW: I'm happy to report, FUNHOUSE Inflatables did an amazing job picking up the pieces where they left off. We had an amazing and safe event, meeting all aspects of safety protocals and we were spared Cheryl's attempt to extort us with risk of injury stories. read more

Booking was easy, and Kim was very helpful and communicative throughout the whole process leading up to the day of the party. The team that did the set up/breakdown was very professional and efficient, and fully explained all the operation and safety information. They even sanitized everything for us during the set up. The selection of products was great - I was able to get a Disney princess themed bounce house which was a big hit with the kiddos. I own a preschool and so I thought I had scheduled an event online to do with the children at the center. The day before I did not receive a phone call confirming my event. I called them to learn that I did not have an event scheduled because I did not hit send on the computer, so they never received the order. Totally my fault! When I was explaining what I needed they were like no problem, when and where do you want us to be. I was able to have the event the same, day and time that my families at the school expected. Absolute delight! Ordered the Mickey Mouse clubhouse for my daughters second birthday. Cheryl called me and went over everything, then called again the day before to confirm and answer any questions. I ended up calling asking about what happens if it rains and she explained weather happens so I wouldn't get charged or anything. The day of the party, the 2 gentlemen that came right on time, set up the clubhouse. They were polite and courteous and explained everything. After they left I realized where I asked them to setup was not great as I didn't consider 2 -4 years old running around the inflatable. I asked them if they could come back and move it 20 feet, and they came back after their next delivery. I apologized to them for me not thinking and they said don't worry and moved it for me. The kids had the best time! The bouncer was clean and had no issues. Watching the kids laugh so much made it so amazing. Pickup was right on time and the same guys who delivered picked up and they were just as nice as when they dropped off. They interacted with my daughter as they packed up and were so kind and amazing she thanked them "tank yoo". We will 100% use them again. The one guy was Matt. I apologize I don't recall the second guy But both were amazing. If you want to watch your child have the most amazing birthday I couldn't recommend a better place to order your inflatable. The customer service was great, they were quick to answer my emails and very accommodating when I realized at the last minute I didn't have the right sized hose. She clearly does not recall my experience, perhaps confusing me with another customer she screwed over. I had a party for my 5 year old daughter. The only thing that needed to be cleaned out of the bounce house was grass carried in on the feet of the kids. Unless the expectation is we should tell the kids to admire the bounce house from a distance and not use it, It is going to get a little dirty. I cannot say enough about how amazing and accommodating Inflatable Adventures was to us. We booked them for our daughters 3rd birthday party, with a bounce house and a sand art kit. They were super friendly and helpful during the reservation process. Really thorough. And we were so excited to celebrate. However, we ended up getting a really bad round of coxackie in our house and the birthday girl had a terrible rash the week of the party. The team at IA helped to reserve the same party for us for the following week. And, because the universe has a really dark sense of humor, our daughter recovered only to come down AGAIN with another strain of the coxackie virus. I was ready to beg and plead but it wasn't necessary--IA's owner Cheryll was SO sweet and helped pushed our party for the second time. The party finally commenced on the 3rd date and it was wonderful!! The set up was on time, fast & friendly. The kids loved all of the entertainment at the party. And the team showed up right on time to break it all back down, much to the birthday girls chagrin. If I could give 20 stars I would. Will definitely use this company again!! read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I do not know how this company possibly has 5 stars. I rented an inflatable slide and a cotton candy machine. A week or so before my event the owner Cheryl called to inform me that the slide I had reserved became damaged and is now unusable. I had no problem with this as she offered me a new slide for the same cost. Today is the day of my event and the crew comes to set up and the new slide is 15 ft longer than the original slide I ordered (unbeknownst to me as Cheryl did not mention it to me) and does not fit in my driveway. So, again, I said "no problem" because I rented my associations property for the day which has a grassy area, so I told them to set it up there. And, no, they couldn't because it is public property EVEN THOUGH I RENTED IT AND I KNOW IT IS ALLOWED BECAUSE I HAVE HAD A SLIDE THERE FOR PREVIOUS EVENTS. After going back and forth with the crew and on the phone with Cheryl with no resolve, I told them to just leave. Cheryl informed me that I would need to pay for the prep work of sanitizing the slide and the crews time- HAHAHA!!!! I was inconvenienced once, and was flexible and had no problem with it. I was inconvenienced a second time and offered another solution to only be inconvenienced by this company again. Forget it. I highly recommend NOT using this company. All of the equipment is always clean and bright and looks just like the picture on the website. We always get the use of the equipment for a full day. The recent bad weather here in central New Jersey has been torture for our family. After doing my research, I have priced out all the other inflatable rental companies in NJ and not one of them beat these prices. In fact, not one of the other companies showed any interest in helping me choose the perfect inflatable for my guests. One company told me he was leaving early and I needed to call back on Monday. But when I called Inflatable Adventures, I was given priority. I needed something fun for both my teen son and my big kid husband. Kim & Cheryl took the time to listen & gave me their advice. I really can't express how pleased we were with their customer service. We tried to have a huge party in May, we placed an order with Inflatable Adventures & spoke with Kim. She was extremely knowledgeable and very pleasant. The day before the party it was a 90% chance of rain. As ANY business owner would know, we have contracts to protect ourselves. They were very accommodating and rescheduled our rental to a day in early June. As fate would have it, there was an 85% chance of rain and we were released from our contract. As disappointed as we were, we got off the phone feeling good about it. It's disheartening to read a negative review from one disgruntled customer when they just don't read the contracts. They must never have owned a business and can't comprehend the rules. Never before have I read such a one sided far out in left field review. SMH. I have spoken to Kim and Cheryl several times and they have both been extremely understanding and empathetic. I assure you we will rent from them again. Although our party was a wash-out, I left the phone call feeling satisfied and we felt we were treated understanding, compassion and kindness. This company has been faithful to my family and myself for years! We've already had our Memorial Day party this year and booked again for August. My daughter came home today after a playdate to tell me her friend's school cancelled an event yesterday that included a lot of big balloons. I called the parents and asked what the child was talking about, come to find out it was the Horbelt School's event with this company. I HAD to know what this was about, so I did some asking around. The school cancelled the event OUTSIDE the terms of a contract with the company and is now on the hook for the price and pissed off about it. A contract is a contract. I know this company for years and I'm sure the owner tried to mediate a resolution if possible, because it was for kids. They worked with me recommending the perfect size for my needs, they had my property layout on their computer via google earth and picked the perfect spot to set it up with me and the guys that set it up turned it 4 times for me to have the entrance exactly where I wanted it.
