I was greeted with a glass of water with fresh fruit, my own sandals, and some questions about the service elements I would prefer. The whole set up was so professional! Upon being taken back for my appointment, I was delighted by how everything felt like I was in a five star, high end spa. The rooms were well appointed with the music of my choice and low lighting to set the relaxed mood. I had a body rub and massage with hot stones. Joe found the tense areas of my body and worked to relieve the huge knots in my shoulders. He was fantastic! After my appointment, each guest received a small snack of a beverage of your choice, a small pastry, and fresh fruit. This really put the visit over the top. It wasn't just an appointment, it was an experience. One of the best things?? I found their pricing to be very reasonable! For the for star feel and quality of the services, it's a great deal! I will absolutely be back. What a magical experience!

The updated address is: 1001 W 39th St, Kansas City, MO…read more64111 The address here on Yelp is the old address. Real therapeutic massage you can find in KCMO is here! Born as an Taiwanese who has thousands of experience of different type of massage, I am not looking at the ones that just relax the muscle ( usually the ones I've tried in America are just too soft or not really get the spot.) What I am really looking for is the one that can solve my muscle knots and my unilateral tight/sore neck caused by poor postures at work. I was shocked that Jeremy was right on the spot with his first touch. He did not say much throughout the session and our conversation was short. After he greeted me, I answered him "neck, especially right neck" for his question "what we are working on", the session started promptly. I like this style, no need to waste time for small talk, just focus on what he's working on and what he is good at. He could precisely catch the knot and found the sore spot. He is extremely professional. Not like many other massage places or clinics, he did not promoting, did not ask me to book for the next time " to maintain the result of the therapy" Like I said before, our conversation was short but effective. I booked the next appointment after I left the clinic right away, because I did not feel the pressure but I was impressed by his work. By the way, he stays booked out 4-6weeks upfront. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to fix tight/soreness muscle or the real problem (maybe not for the ones just want to feel relaxed or be kneaded like a dough...)

I had expected a somewhat low-budget establishment because of the very reasonable prices, but it's situated in a nice neighborhood and everything from the waiting area to the massage rooms were very very nice. When Josh came to greet me, I was already comforted by his soothing voice and demeanor. I knew I'd be in good hands... and I was right. Beyond the technique and training, there was just something extra about his movements. Really, some kind of magic. His strokes were graceful and artful, but he was also very precise in hitting all the right spots. Josh knows the body better than anyone I've been to (I've been getting massages monthly for the past couple years). This was the best massage I've ever had. I recommend it to everyone (just leave room for me on the schedule!). Time to loaf around the apartment. I'm too relaxed to do anything else.

I think the worst thing was that I wore my hair up in a bun, and MT asked if I wanted to wear it down. I specifically said no and made it clear that I didn't want oil in my hair. Later on she literally rubbed oil (which smelled terrible) completely through my hair and then lathered it onto my face. At the end, without any warning, threw a very hot towel on my back. Had she told me it would not have been so shocking. With all the good ratings I was disappointed in the quality of massage and then walking away like a grease pit. I only give it a maybe because maybe there is someone better.
