I had my first 90 min couple massage here this week. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When we walked in we were immediately told to sit down and fruit infused water was brought to us and slippers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were then introduced to our masseuse and led to the our room where we changed then we had a foot soak before returning to the massage room. Our massages were great, 90 mins flew by. Afterwards we were treated to fruit, banana bread and more fruit infused water. I planned a spa day for my daughter and I. We looked at a lot of spas and what I liked is that I could select a package. Many spas you had to pick out the options "al a carte". I didn't want to think about it. I wanted the day to flow and let the spa plan our time. We had a 30 minute foot massage, 15 minute back rub and 90 minute massage. It was wonderful! The atmosphere was soothing and when we finished we were given tea and plate of fruit and a sweet treat. Nice way to end the day. We highly recommend Spalation! The owners are incredibly nice, the staff are amazing and professional at their jobs, and I left feeling so relaxed! My boyfriend and I got the Valentine's Day couple massage this time (included a 60 min massage, 15 min foot massage and 15 min hot stone). I had Joe and he was AMAZING. We didn't feel rushed. We were offered to try different scents for aromatherapy. They described the massage process that starts with an amazing foot scrub. You guys... this place is fantastic. I've been to several massage therapy places in the Northland, and this place is hands down the best. They're locally owned- not a franchise or chain. The moment you walk in, you can tell they genuinely care about your experience. I'm talking from the visual appeal to the smell to the softer than soft robes to the real glassware they serve your snack (yes I said snack!!) on, all the way down to the gentleman host who walked around the desk to open the front door for me so I didn't have to. This place knows service! I was able to sample my aromatherapy before settling on it. My water was infused with fruit, served in an actual glass and constantly replenished. I got comfy slippers immediately. Everything was high class. Then the massage itself was next level. The therapist was super friendly, but not overly talkative, which I greatly appreciate when I'm there to relax. I'm 40 weeks pregnant and asked if she could put a little extra emphasis on certain pressure points to hopefully induce labor and she delivered! She found all my tension spots and really worked them but still made the massage so relaxing. It was so clean in there, too. And after everything, they had my shoes, snack (fruit platter and a homemade brownie ) and more water waiting for me in the lobby. And the best part is that they don't try to sell you anything afterward like all the other chains do. I genuinely hope this place sticks around forever because it's wonderful! read more

The owner was the one who greeted us when we walked in and brought us water with frozen fruit at the bottom (very classy despite my poor wording). He was very knowledgeable and helped us both decide what type of massage would be the best fit for each of us and brought down different essential oils for us to decide which we wanted. You're a fool if you don't go here. So I took my girlfriend here for her birthday to relax and get a massage. I've never seen a parlor quite like this one. It's unique right from the beginning: comfy slippers, a robe, fruit infused drink, and customized sheet for your oil/lotion preference. After that they take you to the "Quiet room" for a foot soak/scrub. My girlfriend said her massage was incredible (and actually a full hour long).
