My wife's skin was actually getting worse. Tamara sold her some very expensive product and hard-sell pressured her to buy more when she was still using the first batch. When it became apparent that the skin was not going to improve with that product, we tried to return the unopened batch and request something different. Not only would she not refund any of our money for the purchase we didn't even want in the first place, she blamed my wife for it not working! She refused to consider that the treatment might need to be modified. This is very poor business practice, very poor customer service, and she does not deserve to steal your hard-earned money the way she stole ours. My response to Tamara's response: your blatant mischaracterization of my message is consistent with your disrespectful treatment of my wife and does not surprise me in the least. I did not ask for money in exchange for changing a review. My beef with you is that you pressured my wife into buying something she didn't want and then you refused to allow her to return it for a refund. If you need more information to figure out which customer she was, that only proves that you have done this to others as well and is your common practice. What I said to you was that, if you were willing to reconsider allowing us to return the product for a refund, as you should have already done, I'd be willing to update the review accordingly. This is not a request of payment for a service. This is asking you to return the money you stole from us. I would report you to the better business bureau but it seems you are not a member.

I underwent QS Alexandrite laser treatment and 3DMIRACL UltraClear for facial sunspots and resurfacing, and I'm so happy with the glowing results. There was little to no discomfort and minimal downtime. Throughout the process, Dr. Kang was honest and never recommended anything invasive. She is incredibly patient, answered all of my questions, and took the time to clearly explain each step. They are very accommodating and offer a wide range of massage services, ranging from facials, foot massages, body massages (Thai, Swedish, combination, sports therapy). The forms we had to fill out asked us to circle what our problem areas were on our body, and they really did focus on this on the massage. They also asked if there were any parts of our body that we didn't want them to touch (e.g. head, face, etc) We got a 60 minute combination massage and they started by bringing us to this small room on the left for a foot bath. They then gave us slippers and walked us over to our room. The couples room was basically two rooms separated by an open door, but they were pretty spacious and well put together. The massage was great and they were nice to ask during the massage if we needed any pressure adjustments. The instrumental piano music they played was also calming and added to the ambience. I did my forehead, crows feet, and in the middle of my eyebrows and also lifted my eyebrows up. I was also scared to get lip filler, Shelly mentioned to get a lip flip to dip our toes in aesthetics and I love the results!!! I'm definitely coming back. A lot of my friends are noticing the difference on my face and lips. I also want to mention the front desk I think her name is Liz she was very professional and she called me and my sisters to check up on us which is a A++ for me.

I reached Mirako Spa in Brea for my facial appointment exactly 3 mins late. A lady who told me that…read moremy appointment was at 2:30pm. (I have attached text messages that my appointment was at 2:45pm). Upon showing the text message, she agreed that I was late by 3 mins. (+ 5 mins grace period). I was informed right away that I need to reschedule as I was late or cut down my facial time from 60mins to 40 mins. I should have arrived 15 mins before the appointment time. Therefore, my showing up delayed by 3 mins would delay the next client by 15 mins as they needed time to prepare for the next client! Math doesn't add up any way we look at it unless they had informed in advance to show up 15 mins before the appointment time, which they hadn't. 1. There was absolutely no notification or instruction provided to me about arriving 15 mins early before the appointment time at the time of making my appointment or text reminder. Therefore if one is late by less than. 10 mins, they lose their facial time by 20mins and are lashed out if clients try to reason out. I was told me to depart as I was 3 mins late or reduce my facial time by 20 mins. 2. Jenny, who came over from inside took over the conversation, was very unprofessional and rude. She argued with me for 15 mins non-stop when I tried to reason out that if I was late by 3 mins, if they wanted to be a stickler of time without informing me to arrive 15 mins early, they should take away 3 mins of my time not, 20 mins. She yelled at me saying "I don't want you to come here ever, I never want to give you service!". I don't understand how Mirako Spa even employs such people who are clueless about how to treat clients with courtesy, let alone working in a service industry. Here is the twist: when I checked in, another lady besides Jenny told me that my appointment was at 2:30pm, which their mistake to begin with as my appointment was at 2:45pm. It appears that they messed up with their own scheduling but because I was 3 mins late for my 2:45 appt, I bore the brunt of Jenny's unprofessional behavior as she couldn't admit that they had accidentally messed up scheduling my appointment. Instead she told me to leave or get a facial cut down by 20mins! I am attaching screenshots of my appointment time. As per Jenny, I should have a common sense to show up 15 mins before appointment time even though I wasn't informed about arriving early or else, appt that was anyway scheduled incorrectly by 15 mins sooner, from what I was notified. Try to avoid Jenny if you go to Mirako Spa in Brea, she can be scathing, unreasonable, and unprofessional. Try to reach 15 mins prior to your appointment even if they don't notify you.

That's when I knew she'd be my girl. I do the same my house, no outside shoes in the house. She provided clear instructions on changing into the facial gown. Her bed was really comfy. I fell asleep after the extractions I believe. Oura ring says I slept for 1 hour 15 min. The duration of treatment was from 1:35-3:20 about an hour and 40 min after changing. Her massage techniques were phenomenal. One of a kind. My skin is super sensitive and during facial as she was understanding what my skin habits are, she gave me education not to exfoliate daily as I normally do. My skin was glowing and I was presentable after. I felt refreshed! After service, she provided a little bag of juice and snack with samples of the sunblock she used and an oil. Very nice gesture!
