pretty mediocre food. it's good for a buffet and a fast meal to feed lots of people, but overall, it's nothing special.

Stopped here for lunch on Thursday, December 11…read more Ordered a medium pizza with pepperoni, onions, mushrooms, and green peppers and one diet Coke fountain drink. Pizza was delicious as usual and served within about 10 minutes after we arrived. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. The charge for the meal was $30 plus a cash tip. I think this is a little expensive for a medium pizza and one drink however we can only eat half the pizza at one time, so we took the other half home with us and had it for lunch today and it was still excellent. This of course cuts the cost to about $15 per lunch which makes it very reasonable. Men's bathroom was very clean and neat. Try it you'll like it.

We were greeted by the friendly cashier. We noticed the wonderful aromas coming from the kitchen. I ordered the Italian sub which was "a good choice" and my daughter got the baked ziti. We sat down to wait and my daughter needed a pencil to work on her homework so I asked the gentleman at the cash register. He went out of his way to scrounge one up for my daughter so she could work on her homework while we waited for our food. Shortly thereafter the food came out and we were able to indulge in a wonderful Italian sub and my daughter munched on the lettuce in the salad in the car. She commented how fresh the lettuce was and then when she got home, she devoured the baked ziti which she said was fantastic. We are so glad that we stopped and hopefully we will try and make a tradition of stopping by weekly if possible so glad. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures but the next time we stop by I'm sure I will try.

The last time I was there I got 3 burger patties on my sub this visit today only two! We ordered a medium pepperoni pizza with two sides of ranch, an order of fries, and order of mozzarella sticks, and two large fountain drinks. That came out to around $33 for us. Not unreasonable for a meal for two. The fries and mozzarella sticks came to the table first. The fries had no salt on them, and they had a salt shaker on the table so I could add as little or as much as I wanted. They were not bad. The mozzarella sticks came out seemingly undercooked, or they'd cooled down before coming to the table. They were not good at all, but they went better with the ketchup bottle they brought us than with their marinara sauce. Speaking of sauces, remember how I said we ordered two sides of ranch? Yeah, we were served just one, a packet of Ken's ranch, which is nasty on its own. Unfortunately it just did not work with their pizza, which also was not very good either. Did we catch them on a bad night? I mean, at prime dinner time, we were just one of two sets of people dining in, and during the hour we were in there, their phone rang only four or five times for other orders. Oddly enough, our fountain drinks were actually really good. The interior of the place is also in desperate need of a renovation, with old press board tables throughout with chunks missing off of corners, booths with duct tape holding the cushions together, and what appeared to be old advertisements hanging that were promoting some kind of cheese they use (though it didn't taste like anything special to me). This is one place I'll knock off my list for trying again for at least another year, and hope they can improve.

And then in time and age where people are putting all kinds of random things in your food I fully trust this place to not only give me something delicious, but also give me something that's not going to make me regret it later. We got two different kinds of pizzas, mozzarella sticks and wings. Everything was delicious and hot and the people serving it at the counter was friendly and fast. I didn't get any desserts this time, but the dessert case look like they had some pretty tasty desserts. I have heard that their cannolis are to die for! Also, there was seating inside, so if you wanted to get a pizza and eat inside, this is a place to go.

Jerry & Sal's are no longer located in the mall as the mall is condemned…read more They are now located where Schultz's Deli used to be on the corner across from the Utz Outlet. You can't miss their location with plenty of parking and their digital sign. When you walk in the entrance of the restaurant on the right hand side is a table with a bunch of different photos over the years that almost pay a tribute to the owner and co-owner and family and it really gives you a good perspective as to how they started in business. On the left side of the wall, there is a copy of an old newspaper article which was very interesting to read and a few other photos. 5-Stars is given for how well maintained & clean the inside of the restaurant is and the abundant seating for guests. 5-Stars is also given for presentation of the various pizza they offer in the glass cases as well as a few other items and they also have a glass case featuring what looks to be different types of dinners. Now onto the customer service experience, if I could give 10-Stars instead of 5-Stars I would in a second. When I went up to the counter, there was a young lady who cheerfully greeted me and asked if I had any questions and what I would like to order, I did have a few questions and she was able to give me an answer immediately, and that was extremely helpful and as I sat waiting for my pizza to be finished, I've seen other staff members interact with customers in a very friendly, welcoming and professional manner and let's just say you don't see that too often these days so whatever they're doing there for customer service they're doing it the right way and I applaud them for that. Now let's visit the pizza..... I ordered a large square pizza with extra cheese, pepperoni and mushroom and also one slice of their normal round pizza without any toppings. I am really trying to find a silver lining in the square pizza, but I'm having a hard time and the reason why is the pizza seemed somewhat undercooked regarding the crust in the dough, when we took a few slices out and started to eat them. The base of the dough was finished. It had a real slight browning to it, which is a good sign, and the dough had somewhat of arise in it, but there was a layer in there that it just did not look cooked, and the toppings were on the money and the crust had a crunch to it, which is nice. The sauce or the marinated mushrooms something had somewhat of a spicy bite to it, and I understand that every pizza shop makes their sauce differently and that could be attributed to the past on recipe for many many years ago. But each slice felt sloppy it felt weak and soggy. If that's the words to use for it it wasn't a piece that you would pick up and it would be solid. These pieces drooped over immediately. So this is where I have to give it 3.5-Stars. And onto the slice of pizza, which was plain cheese pizza it seemed OK but it just was not there. Would we go back and try some other food there? Definitely, we will definitely go back and try one of their subs and possibly one of their specialty salads and as far as the pizza goes unfortunately I'm not a fan.
