Do not use this storage facility. They never respond. I was supposed to get a $25.00 refund for theft of our chucks from January. The gate was broken and left open and someone tried getting into our camper. We wrote a letter and got no response for at least a month. We also left messages and it took several weeks for a response. When someone finally called me they were so rude and ignorant. I still have not received my money that was requested on June 15th. We left two and a half months before our contract was up because of someone trying to get into our camper. We tried to get those months refunded and you thought we were asking for a million dollars. I was a customer for 8 years and every year the monthly rental cost went up a minimum of $10/month. To be honest, I thought the prices were getting a little out of hand the last few years, considering there is never an attendant on site during the most popular hours/weekends. Additionally the parking lot is not well maintained and a lot of large vehicles are parking in the center but overhanging the drive so it's often difficult to maneuver between the vehicles and bumps. Many other issues such as exposed electrical and just general poor property conditions are also evident. When I received a letter in Jan 2023 that my rate would drop from $224 to $201 effective 3/1/23, I was actually pleasantly surprised. However when I went to pay my rent, it had actually gone up to $253! I called to speak with someone 3/3 (Friday) regarding this and the customer service line which is not local, said they would elevate my call to the manager. I didn't receive any call back. In the meantime I had been looking at other storage facilities in the area to compare prices and the newest facility was over $100 cheaper per month for the same size unit. So my husband and I decided 3/4 to get remove our property and transfer to the new facility, only to find out they had suspended my account without notice or call back! Very poor customer service in my opinion for people who have always paid timely and were long term customers. It's not unreasonable for a customer to question charges that are not what were quoted! This was a convenient location to where he is moving to, and the manager Bryan was helpful and professional and took time with me. "for those of you who need storage space, infinite storage units is not the place. please do not use this company for your storage needs. recently my brother-in-law used them for storage for a total of 4 months while he built his new home. during this time $60,000+ worth of his hard earned money went down the drain all his furniture is ruined and destroyed due to mold. he had purchased a climate controlled unit, and was told not to worry about mold. when he went to move his furniture to his new home, he found mold dripping from all of his belongs. he purchased insurance on the unit just in case something where to happen. he has tried and tried to get them to do something about it and nothing has been done, nor do they plan to take any action... in the mean time infinite storage in new lenox, il on schoolhouse road is still renting out units and not telling anyone about the situation or fixing the issue. thanks you for listening and please take your business elsewhere so this doesnt happen to you." read more

Wow! I can't express enough how appreciative I am of the new manager Pam. She has definitely proven to me that she is turning the reputation for Infinite Storage New Lenox around. She has bent over backwards to actively change how the New Lenox location is run and operated. Pam completely stands behind Infinite's belief that customer service is their job. Pam took on quite the challenge to turn around the reputation that the former manager of New Lenox left her with, but I am so thrilled that she did. I can now say with pride, that I couldn't be happier to be doing business with this company. Thank you Pam for your hard work and dedication, it does NOT go unnoticed! If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!! This is by far the absolute worst company I have ever had to work with. Their customer service is despicable!!! They increase your rental rate once you've moved your stuff in, they have minimal office hours that are never posted, so it's a guessing game on when you can actually talk to someone face to face. I have automatic withdrawal for my storage fee, and my bank was in the process of sending me a new chipped card when Infinite-Storage processed the charge and it failed. Instead of calling me to inform me that my auto payment failed they waited until the $20 late charge was added to call me to inform me that the payment failed. When I told them what had happened they told me it was my own fault and there was nothing they could do about it. So I emailed Mike Sellers the district manager, as Larry from New Lenox, told me to do. It's been 3 days and I have heard nothing back from him, so to avoid another late fee I paid the full amount 24 hours ago. I went to the facility today to drop off my 30 day written notice to vacate the unit and grab some equipment needed for a job and my access into the facility was suspended, and when I called customer service the lady on the phone informed me that my bill was paid and that I should absolutely have access into the facility and gave me an emergency code to get in. When I got to my unit there was an additional lock on the door denying my access to my unit. Luckily I was still on the phone with customer service. In my rental agreement it states that the facility will suspend access after a 30 day default. 9 days late is far from a 30 day default. The lady on the phone told me she contacted and left messages for both Leonard and Mike. This was at about 12:30 this afternoon. As of right now I still have not heard back from any of them. This is the WORST place to do business with. I just spent over an hour trying to make a payment over the phone and was unsuccessful do to an unexplained problem. The credit card company said no one is attempting to make a payment - tried speaking with manager onsite and was told by the manager on the phone that they can only contact the manager on site if it is an emergency. They sent an email, I received no response. I tried getting the name of a person that I could file a complaint with and they could not tell me a means to contact anyone, let alone the name of the person. Its like falling into a dark hole - all you get is the complete run around. Needless to say, I still cannot make a payment over the phone and it is suggested that I go to the facility to see "IF" it will work. Very unprofessional place.
