My husband and I attended Babies in Bloom's Newborn Care and Preparing to Breastfeed classes toward…read morethe end of my pregnancy, and they gave us a strong foundation without feeling overwhelming. During our first couple of weeks postpartum, our baby struggled to gain weight because she wasn't transferring enough milk and I was dealing with an undersupply. After a difficult experience with another lactation consultant left me in tears and ready to give up breastfeeding, we reached out to Juliana at Babies in Bloom. We had appreciated her approach in our classes, and our experience with her was truly night and day compared to what we experienced with our initial consultant. Juliana thoroughly assessed our baby's latch, my nipples, feeding positions, and pump parts and settings. She listened to our concerns and created an effective, manageable plan to help us move away from what felt like an indefinite triple-feeding nightmare to our goal of exclusively breastfeeding. She also checked in between appointments, adjusted our plan as needed, answered our questions, and most of all encouraged us. With Juliana's guidance, our baby went from the 11th to the 50th percentile for weight, and my milk supply caught up to fully meet her needs by four weeks. By eight weeks, I was able to gradually drop pumping sessions without clogged ducts or mastitis, and by 10 weeks, we reached our goal of exclusively breastfeeding. I'm incredibly grateful we found Juliana and that I didn't give up. Her knowledge, support, and encouragement helped us achieve a goal that had once felt out of reach. I cannot recommend Babies in Bloom and Juliana enough for their classes and lactation consulting services!

We've spent thousands with this company setting up a nursery. If you're buying large furniture…read moreitems it is very likely they will come broken or damaged. Also don't rip the box open or you won't have a way to ship it back for a return. Returning this huge bulky item was hard enough as it is but the second time they sent me the item it was broken and damaged again in the very same spot. The store location is fine for certain items but ordering large furniture from them is something I will never do again. This time I plan to just glue the pieces and not even bother returning as it's to much hassle and I ripped the box trying to get it open. Here's pictures from the first shelf and the second shelf. Also if you do order furniture pay extra to have them deliver and set it up that way it's easier to return and hopefully avoid breaking the item. I was very careful not too damage anything both times so it was just inevitable that it would come broken before it arrived. I expected better service and quality for the money.

We rented a Single City Mini GT stroller for a 3-day trip to Disneyland with my step-daughter and…read moreher 5-year old. On a previous trip to Disneyland (same length) we had opted to use the Disneyland daily stroller rentals and this was INFINITELY BETTER, it cost less, we got a better stroller and we got to keep it the whole time. With the daily rentals at Disneyland they make you return the stroller at the end of each day (there is no option for multi-day rentals) and you are NOT allowed to bring it past security into their hotels, so if you have a sleeping toddler you have to wake them up to get them to the room from a certain point depending on which hotel you are staying in. I chose the pickup/dropoff option rather than delivery and it was super easy to just swing by and grab it as I headed out of town. They texted me a code to access the building and the stroller was just there waiting for me when I got there. An unexpected benefit was that one of the employees (or owner?) happened to be sitting out front in his car when I arrived to pick it up and he jumped out of his car and carried the stroller and put it in my SUV for me. This was not expected but was such a nice touch showing the level of service they go to for their customers. Besides the ease of rental and the service, the price was amazing, less expensive for a 3-day rental than we paid for 2 days of daily rentals at Disneyland and you get a WAY better stroller. The stroller was so good in fact that my step-daughter said she was going to recommend this stroller to any and all friends back home in need of buying one. It was clean, it worked perfectly and suited all of our needs. I would recommend toddlers travels to anyone who needs a stroller for a few days (or longer) for family/friends who are coming into town with small children and don't want to schlep their stroller with them on the trip.
