This guy is really great. He has helped me with my phone two times. The first time he replaced my broken screen. He did a good job and got it done pretty quickly. The second time he helped me my phone just stopped working like it had a permanently dead battery. I took it to him, he took it apart disconnected the battery then reconnected the battery and the phone started working again. When I asked him how much this would cost me he said don't worry about it. He really knows his stuff and he's not trying to nickel and dime you every chance he gets I would definitely go back to him and I would definitely suggest him to other people. read more

This place is the SPOT! Met the owner Joey I think it was. He was the guy who repaired my iPhone. Man I was in and out of his store which they said they just opened up in about 15-20 minutes. Just the fact that their prices are great and service is even better just awes me. His wife showed me the ZboxTv they had connected to the tv in the showroom and bought one. I was on my way back from vacation in SD. $250 said usually $399 hooked me up cause I got my phone repaired with him. This box is amazing. 10 days with my phone and the ZboxTv I have to say I'm very happy and I called and cut my cable today. I really thought this review was very much deserved. read more

I don't know why I haven't heard of iNerd and I have been here for 3 years. I just found out about them last week, right when we are getting ready to move to California. Joey and Christine were awesome. They were both funny and welcoming, I was also in and out in like 15 min. They pretty much have everything you need to repair you stuff and if they don't, they get shipments in weekly. Even though we are moving, I will probably be keeping in touch for our repair needs. From the Business

Specialties

Personal Electronic Repair, Smartphone and tablet, Gaming units, Board level, microsoldering and much more!

History

Established in 2012.

We are a husband and wife team that started our venture into smartphone and tablet repair. Launched the business in March of 2012 and ran it mobile doing on site repairs with pickup and drop off services. After 6yrs of being on the road, we had established a brick and mortar location with much more to offer. Over the last 6yrs we have expanded from doing Smartphone and tablet repair, to offering repairs to all personal electronics and microsoldering/board level repairs. We have also expanded into refurbishing iPhone display assemblies to help keep OEM parts in circulation.

Meet the Business Owner: Joey and Christine S.

Joey has been in the technology field over half his life, with 20+ yrs of small electronic repair experience. He has always been the type of person that wants to know what make technology ticks and how to make it work again if its broken. He looks at the science of how things works and like to explain things in detail. He is not your typical nerd, but he does still own his Commodore 64 from 1983. Christine was brought into the electronic industry before she married Joey, and now is by his side running the front end of the store. She herself has over 10yrs of front end customer service experience, and over the last 6yrs has learned much more about the electronic and technology field.

My laptop developed some serious problems recently and, as I was going to Yuma for a week, I contacted INERD and was told to bring it in and they would take a look at it. When I brought it in, I noticed the shop was well equipped. The owner took a look at the laptop and was unable to tell what was happening with the machine. I left it with him for several days, during which time he ran diagnostics on it. It had a problem with the main board and would be a moderately expensive repair. I decided to just get a new computer. He returned my laptop. I asked him how much I owed him. He said that he had a "no-fix, no-pay" policy and he hadn't fixed my laptop. So, no charge. I would recommend iNERD based on the professional level of the shop and on their customer-oriented policies. W.T. Nutt, Ph.D. read more

I am not paid by Yelp and I actually used Joey's services at iNerd. My MacBook Pro quit charging and I feared the worst (logic board or some other circuitry failure that plagues the model I have). Took it in and in short order he called me with an update: nothing wrong with the laptop, just my charger failed. He told me where I could get a new one and how much they would cost. He also did a diagnostic on the laptop overall and made a hard drive upgrade recommendation which I opted to decline. Fully prepared to pay for the diagnostic, I was pleasantly surprised when he handed me the computer and said there was no charge. I greatly appreciated Joey's candor and that he didn't pressure me for services I could manage without. I will definitely be going to him again in the future! read more

The first property happened without a hitch but the second screening happened with a few snags. There was a snag in a back porch screen which was taken care of immediately. However, a week after the driveway overhead & side screens were put in, I noticed a stretched out mark on the side screen that was about 2 feet long on a diagonal which I only noticed it when I was outside of my driveway. I first contacted SSS at the end of September and they responded two weeks later to see if the issue had been solved. That would have been great, but four months later, Bear showed up and assessed the issue as well as an issue that occurred since that visit in September. Bear told me everything would be taken care of and extended the warranty on that stretched mark. One month later, all repairs were corrected and I'm very satisfied. I would definitely recommend Specialty Sewing Senter because not only do they sell a quality product, they back it!

Not only was Nancy able to repair my ring as I waited in store but also cleaned and shined it. My engagement ring looks brand new. I instantly put it on after not being able to wear it for several months due to it being bent and having it returned in such good condition makes me overjoyed. I would highly recommend coming here for your jewelry needs!

We've bought both of our wedding bands from there as well as multiple bridesmaids gifts and just pieces for every day use an absolutely love every single piece.
