This store offers one-stop shopping for today's hip youth. Whatever you need to complete your look - a custom single-speed bicycle, a locally-designed ironic tee, or various accessories, you'll find it here. It's actually not really one-stop shopping, but they definitely have some cool stuff. I was drawn in by the t-shirts out front. A rooster standing on a cement block? Fer sure. A stylized vector-art drawing of the DEN Blue Bronco shooting lazers from its demon red eyes? Yup. A stylized mustachioed man head with a monocle? Of course! Lots of fun designes (and maybe a few that are a bit hipster cliche). It took a lot for me not to drop some ends on that lazer-bronco tee, tho. I did have to venture back and admire the gleaming new fixies, which were in the fairly affordable $400-$600 range. There are some clever, fun nik naks around the store as well. I would have paid more attention to them but I couldn't stop thinking about lazer-horse. The big dude with the ear-lobe plugs and the massive beard working the register was plenty friendly as well. As are most of the folks I met in Denver - especially on this little Broadway strip. Good stuff. read more

Just the other day I came across Indy Ink for the first time. The name may imply that they may do tattoos here but they don't. They carry totally awesome T-shirts with great graphics on them! I was instantly hooked! While on this particular visit to Indy Ink I didn't buy anything I can definitely tell that in the future I probably will! Great local art is hung along the wall as well, very probable that they were made at the store... don't know the details yet on that yet. I met with IndyInk to have an order of 150 shirts printed. I provided sample shirts, ink recipes, and ink samples, but when I picked up the order, all of the shirts had misaligned registration and the ink colors appeared very faded. They were nothing like the samples that I brought in. After the fact, they told me that they didn't feel like they had the technical skills to print my shirts for me, and I'm out $800 in addition to the print cost. As a small business owner, this had a big impact on my business, as well as the retail stores who were to receive the shirts that they misprinted. read more

Another one of my T-Shirt spots. I picked up a pretty fatt plaid shirt that had huge buck with a twelve point rack wrapped up by their logo. What was really crazy was that these cats were makin' custom fat caps. Mixin colors RIGHT there. I bought a couple and did a lil piece on some wood I found. Wouldn't recommend this company. They do not have very good customer service. Be sure to ask a lot of questions from the start even if you are specific from the beginning. Make it clear to them what you really want and make sure they understand you. Otherwise they will blame and get angry with you for not understanding with their own lack of ability to communicate properly. Save yourself time...go somewhere else. read more
