There were so many one of a kind custom shirts to commemorate the evening, including a ridiculously good caricature of Steve! He will now live forever in shirt form :) Igor also does lots of events, and told me of a request in which he was asked to make a shirt with a 'banana-man riding a dragon'! Fortunately with his kickass skills he was able to make that creative idea a reality in mere moments! His talents are legit. I brought the 4 seasons of the In The Rockies kits for $32 each. Not included were the backing fabric, batting, and binding. I got home and when reading the directions, I got confused since I never dealt with Quiltsmart Grid fusible. I called the shop to ask for a private lesson scheduled for the next day. When I went in, I felt that I was bothering them even though there was no customers. The woman who offered to help me only gave me 5-10 minutes of her time at no charge and acted like I should know how to use the grid. (The grid was a game changer and so easy to use). I was annoyed that I had driven all the way there only for her to advise me to go to the Quiltsmart website to get directions; which I did and it was very helpful. I will definitely go back because there aren't that many quilt shops in my area but I've learned to just figure directions on my own (I'm self taught).
