The doctors especially take the time to thoroughly explain things and answer questions (and we've had tons of questions). They have been very prompt with appointment times. We have never waited more than 10 minutes. Also, they are great with calling us back. If I leave a message, someone always gets back to me within about 30 minutes. We've had to use the weekend/after hours line twice and both times we got connected to a doctor very quickly and provided the same great service. Highly recommend.

Our first visit to Suburban Pediatrics was great. The receptionist was quick with the paperwork. They have two waiting areas for the little ones; one for sick patients and another for well patients. Each room has an activity table and a television pumping out kid-friendly shows. The fish tank that separates the rooms is my little guy's favorite feature! We were taken back to the rooms, all of which have different themes. Each room has a wall painted with old-school chalkboard paint for the kids to go crazy on while waiting to see the doctor. The wait wasn't long at all! We've seen 3 different doctors here so far, and each one was awesome. Their bedside manner with kids is superlative. My little one likes to squirm worse than a worm on hook, but the doctors were quite engaging and he actually stayed still enough for a complete check (...and the doctors won't share their secrets!!!) They are also part of the CMC network, so patient info can be accessed from other affiliates as needed. All around, one of the finest doctor's offices I've been to, and it's even better that it's for the important little people in our lives.

I waited on hold for 20-30 min on two different occasions to try to get an appointment for a sick visit and each time all the appointments were taken by the time anyone answered because all the phone calls are now routed through a call center instead of going directly to the practice. I have used this practice for over 25 years with 4 kids and I never thought I would give this practice anything but 5 stars for how wonderful they've always treated my kids, but this change is that bad. Corporate ideas don't always equal good customer service!

If I could give a negative I would. My son and I have been a patient for about 3 years. At first it…read morewas great! BUT, I have been trying to get a script filled for about 6ish months they don't return phone calls 90% of the time. So they haven't given my pharmacist a call back and haven't answered the calls. I tried email and calling but they still didn't call my pharmacist... Another incident(tmi), I had contracted a yeast infection from antibiotics(dentist script) I called they said I can come in, in two days. Well at that point it's so bad, I'm starting to bleed and they have me do a urine then go home..... they still didn't script me anything. Then I found out about monostat so I took care of this issue myself. I've had to wait in the waiting room with my 3 year old son for 2 hours, 1 hour exc. Almost always an hour wait, not always that long but 90% of the appointmens, yes. The one 2 hour wait, they actually had NO IDEA WHY THEY SCHEDULED him?!?!? What?!?!?!?!??! My son had to miss two weeks of speech therapy because the therapists couldn't get ahold of anyone at the drs to get a new referral to continue speech. Few months fast forward to the last few weeks almost 2 months can't get them to call the speech therapist. My son is in speech and has a possible diagnosis of Apraxia of Speech so his speech therapist wants to see how he will do in Occupational Therapy so need to get a referral. My sons speech therapist had called china grove family med many times the last FEW WEEKS I also called. Two weeks ago I had called and whomever I talked to said they would call and get it approved, well noone called. Shocking, I know. Yesterday(8/31/2021) I called twice and emailed the portal(which is pointless because they never get back to me on there). Anyways I still have not heard back all day from the drs office so I just drive there.... I explain EVERYTHING, I'm in tears because I'm so overwhelmed, frustrated and angry. Shortly after she took my sons info down she asks me to sit and wait which was okay but then after 10 mins of waiting I then go back up and told her I've waited a month, I've been patient enough. She emailed my situation to someone and that was that... Well they still DIDN'T send the referral over!!!! Why can't they show more care for their patients? I guess wish me luck getting records switched to a new place  because it'll probably take them a couple of months to do that too.
