In the past, I've been a patient at their Mooresville location. We moved several years ago and this…read morelocation is closer. Time for my regular colonoscopy. My first one was in 1989 when first moved to Latrobe PA and still employed with PPG. They have changed a bit over the years but I 've continued to have them just for prevention. Live everyone else, not a favorite procedure but never had a real problem till this last one. Had one last July along with an endoscopy. Showed a couple po polyps which were removed and were totally benign. Had the procedure on a Tuesday and started massive internal bleeding the following Sunday. Was taken to Novant North in Huntersville and then transferred to the CCU unit at Novant Presbyterian in Charlotte. Stayed there for two days till I stabilized and while they wanted to keep me longer, I finally talked them into a discharge. Nothing was happening at that point and if it did, I was close enough to get medical assistance quickly. Downside is that due to all of the problems, I'm scheduled for another one in April. Care was very good but let's hope for a better experience.

Was waitlisted for an earlier appointment. Received a text notice at 11:03 confirming an earlier…read moreappointment. By the time I responded one hour later, the appointment was filled. Now I am back on the waitlist. Very unprofessional. Should have given at least a two hour window to respond if not 24 hours.

I had mine a few years ago and will need to return in another few years, but this time it's Mrs…read more K.'s turn. Great bedside manner and warm contact from Dr. Mohanty who clearly laid out the prep instructions. This building is on Randolph Road and is very close to Presbyterian Hospital. Super easy to get here following the GPS. We even arrived a little early for the appointment. I stayed in the waiting room which was comfortable for the two hours I was here. I was able to cancel out the monotony from the TV with my headphones, spending the time surfing, writing Yelp reviews and checking in on work. My phone rang and the discharge nurse told me that all was done and I could pull the car around front. A few minutes later, Mrs. K. was rolled out, loaded and we were on our way. A big packet of post-care notes and the results of the exam. All good here. [Review 100 of 2025 - 4070 in North Carolina - 23667 overall]

Dr Jason Wilson was the physician that performed my colonoscopy and he has the best bedside manner!…read more This is the second time I've seen him. Jordan was my nurse and she was extremely friendly, accommodating and had a beautiful smile. Steve my anesthesiologist was nice with a warm smile. He explained everything he was going to do before he did it and he was also my DJ. He accommodated my music requests seconds before I drifted off to sleep. Played it right u see my pillow as I drifted away. Michalynn was my other nurse and she was extremely nice and explained everything on my follow up care notes. She even brought me water to drink after wards because I was so thirsty. The ENTIRE team was helpful and made me feel appreciated, comfortable and valued as a patient. Even the young lady at the front desk was polite. I have zero complaints. I'd highly recommend this facility as I had a pleasant experience. Highly recommend them! No more anxiety or nervousness.

Dr. Cyzner saved my life…read more I was out of work as a teacher for 5 years. Before him I had a gastro doc who followed the wrong path and then because my old doc didn't know what was wrong, he said "push through it." I was vomiting, tons of unpleasant gastro issues... so how do you DO that? That previous doctor was AWFUL. Switched to Dr Cyzner who told me my first visit he wouldn't quit searching... and he didn't. HE NEVER STOPPED! A good doctor is one who says "I don't know but I won't quit looking" and that was him. I was diagnosed with several rare chronic conditions and my life reversed! Liver function normal. Pancreatic function normal after YEARS of abnormal results. Exocrine Pancreatic insufficiency was the first big diagnosis. His care resulted in me not having bathroom issues for the first time in YEARS. I was still not 100% though and was at the point he ran every test and arranged for me to be seen in Chapel Hill when low and behold... sucrose intolerance test came back positive. Dr Cyzner hooked me up with the company that makes my medication and I immediately felt better after adjusting to a new diet and meds. Very rare but that was the final piece of my medical puzzle. I am back teaching full time and living my life managing chronic issues. I lost 107 lbs. I'm active, vibrant, etc. Dr Cyzner and everyone there have been awesome. Dr. Narang did my endoscopy. The staff is amazing. Had no issues with communication or scheduling. Proud to be a GI "unicorn " and soooo thankful to these angels.

After my most recently colonoscopy, I was told by the doctor that everything looked fine and then (with a chuckle) he said "I don't know why you're having so much pain." I knew after that statement it was the beginning of the end for me and this practice. After that same colonoscopy, I gained 12 lbs in less than a week (which when i reached out was told by a nurse wasn't normal) and began having incontinence. I went in to my appointment today, hopeful that I'd be able to speak to someone about both issues, the PA Cathryn just told me that incontinence was normal after being constipated. I've NEVER had issues with incontinence before even though I've had problems with constipation for YEARS. Cathryn and Dr, Cizner both have TERRIBLE bedside manor and both should be avoided at all costs.
