I have an older tower that was full of malware but also has all of my music and kids' photos / school event videos ... spent over $300 here having it "brought back to life" but now it takes forever to boot up once it's been asleep and I have to re-set the date/time every time I want to use it. Can't find some of the stuff that was supposed to have been saved, and the pre-installed antivirus is a major pain in the A## as well. If I could I would give them more stars. The lady at the front desk kept the information on a level that I could follow and when I did get lost she would explain it differently without sounding condescending. I have some tech experience but I'm no certified tech. What happened is that my Laptop died the hard drive for whatever reason burn itself up. I was able to get a better hard drive put in and it works great. I feared that I would end up spending way more than I paid for the laptop, that was not the case. They were upfront in telling me that data recovery was slim to none chance and because I had the forethought to save to cloud type programs my work was wainting on me when I got my laptop back. read more

Brought in my very sad laptop that was horribly infected and practically cancerous from my unfortunate neglect from letting my antivirus expire without renewal. Jean, one of the techs, told me that my laptop was one of the worst she had seen in a while. Oops. She ran her cleanup software multiple times, removing trojans and malware each time and called me to give me an update 2 days into my computer's hospitalization to let me know that she was still working on it, that she loved a good challenge, and wouldn't stop until she could get it fixed. And she got it fixed! And she installed a free but solid antivirus software for me so that I wouldn't run into this problem again. She was realistic with telling me that she would try to do everything she could without having to wipe my computer of all software and reboot it while letting me know that it may be a possibility that I'd lose all of my data and software. Thankfully that didn't need to happen. There are a few coupons on their website for discounts on services, which they readily accepted when I showed one to them on my phone. After all was said and done, the cost of fixing my computer was $115 after a $10 discount from the coupon online. I got much better service than I would have at a BestBuy Geek Squad. read more
