The process of purchasing was painless and fast, and we got such a good deal we've paid it off too. We've had all of our service done here ever since, and we've always been treated well. Specifically: 1) very easy to book appointments, with lots of days/hours to choose from and pretty much no wait time; 2) the team communicates with us effectively and immediately through text; 3) they give us an estimate and stick to it, but discuss anything they find that we might want to know about; 4) free shuttle to and from home, while the car is being serviced; and 5) they did a diagnostic scan for us on the USB ports, which I was not having any luck with -- found that it worked perfectly, but *not* with Amazon Basics USB cords. (Oh, Honda, you're such a princess.) Didn't charge us a cent. They have a newly-refurbished, comfortable waiting area now, too. read more

While their team was very friendly, I did not have a positive experience with Indy Honda overall. I brought my car in for routine maintenance and a few lights that popped up on the dash. Upon drop off I questioned the validity of the lights since I had never had any issues with my car and the car just got a flat tire so I assumed the lights were consistent with a tire issue. Upon receipt of Indy Hondas estimate I was extremely caught off guard when I was told that I would need extensive repairs including injectors, valve adjustment, coolant flush, brake flush and spark plugs totally over $3,400 due to an "engine misfire in cyl 4". Again, my car hadn't had any engine issues prior to taking it in and I had just driven 40 miles to get it to the shop without any issues. I declined all services other than an oil change and took the car to 2 other shops for additional opinions and diagnosis. Neither of the independent shops agreed with the diagnostic test completed by Indy Honda. They both stated that the car didn't show any misfires, in fact, the engine scanner didn't show any engine issues at all. I also paid to have the brake fluid and coolant tested all both of which were completely normal and in spec of Honda's specifications. The one thing all the shops agreed on was spark plugs due to mileage which I did have done. Since getting the car back I've had no issues and no lights on the dash. The Indy Honda sales team also low balled my car value as a trade in due to this "almost $4,000" worth of work that was needed. KBB trade value was over $8,500 on my trade where they were only willing to give me $3,000 due to work that didn't actually need to be done. I will not be returning to this dealership for service or the purchase of a new vehicle. Indy Honda wasted my time and cost me $190 for their bogus diagnosis, and then hundreds more on diagnostic fees with other shops. I have absolutely nothing but amazing things to say about my recent experience at Indy Honda. Saturday July 26th I went to test a drive a Honda CRV, it was already sold. The salesman did not push a different car on us, instead he had me test drive a hybrid and let me sit in one that had leather seats. CRVs are a hot item currently so buying one is not really easy. But I had my heart set on a CRV. They kept me updated on when they were getting one and I was able to purchase one 8/1/2025. Jon Frenze (I believe that's his last name) went above and beyond for me. I am expecting so a lot of waiting around or talking in the heat wasn't good for me so he made sure to have as many conversations inside as possible. Then Peter, the manager the night we purchased the car, gave my husband and I small gift as a congratulations for expecting. All in all all of the staff I talked to, heard talking to other customers, and interacted I was very impressed and over all happy. Thank you Indy Honda for helping me buy my dream car!!! We took our Granddaughters car to Indy Honda on US 31 in Greenwood In. The total Bill was $400.62. She was told if she paid with a debit card there would be a 3% charge , which we knew, so she paid the bill with her Capital One Credit Card. I looked at the credit card statement a few days later, and the charge was for$412.64 .... $12.02 MORE. I called Indy Honda and they proceeded to tell me that there was a 3% charge on certain credit cards also. I cannot find this policy anywhere in the paperwork I received and i certainly did not see it posted in the service department. Therefore I believe that you should refund that $12.02 to me. read more

Honda cars are not like they used to be. My 2020 civic started acting up to the point I lost power on the hwy due to a turbo failing. Got towed into Indy Honda, the staff wasn't that helpful considering my warranty was up 2 weeks ago and I was at 60,889 miles, costing $3300. However my interactions with the BOB ROHRMAN INDY HONDA SERVICE DEPARTMENT meets all the requirements of such a rating. I had made an appointment for an oil change to my 2017 Honda CRV that I purchased at this dealership new .Upon checking the vehicle in, the service rep L. C. had indicated it was due for a tire rotation and fluid flush of transmission fluid. I clearly told her that I wanted only the oil change. I further explained that since I had purchased my tires from COSTCO, I get FREE tire rotation there. This appointment and service was completed on December 01, 2023. Upon returning home and preparing to file the service invoice I noticed that indeed I HAD BEEN CHARGED FOR A TIRE ROTATION. I called the ROHRMAN AUTO GROUP HONDA CARES number provided in an email that asked for a survey on the same day, December 1st. I explained to a very professional and polite lady named Laura. She stated that she would have the Service Manager, Cliff call me shortly to resolve the situation. THAT CALL NEVER CAME. In fact I called Laura back at 4:30pm on Monday, 12/04 and she apologized and said she would refer the matter to her supervisor, Ben. Cliff, the Indy Honda Service manager called me back with excuses why he didn't return my call. Those excuses included leaving early to pick up a birthday cake to putting up Christmas lights. He did say that the unauthorized charge would be refunded. I had waited for over a month for the reimbursement and received nothing. I again called the Rohrman Honda Care number and left message that was returned by Ben. On 01/ 05, Ben indicated that he or Cliff would call me back. As of this date 01/10 that has not happened. My concern is that as a senior citizen in his seventies, I feel like I have been taken advantage of in this situation. If the Indy Honda folks handle a small situation so incredibly poorly, I definitely am concerned for those with larger issues. In my opinion, there is absolutely no excuse for not following up with a customer as promised. Not only once but several times. I brought my Honda in to be serviced because the engine light came on. The service advisor, after being told what I wanted done and that I could not talk on the phone, proceeded to call me and leave me voicemails every other hour to confirm what I wanted done on my car. When I finally got a break (I work in a hospital) I called him back to confirm and told him again that he needed to text me because I can't answer his phone calls. He sent me what I had told him I wanted done and had me approve it. I did that and then he called me back again to confirm my confirmation. This drew out my car being worked on for 3+ days. The service provided by Indy Honda is top notch. Scheduling an appointment would be recommended. Our Service Technician was very professional and knowledgeable. Most importantly, his estimate of the length of time for the repair was accurate. The actual service rating for this experience would be FIVE STARS. So why THREE STARS? INDY HONDA HAS INITIATED A 3% FEE OF THE TOTAL BILL IF YOU USE A CREDIT CARD. Although credit card companies have charged merchants a fee for the use of their cards for payment for decades, Indy Honda has elected to directly pass this on to the customer. You can avoid the fee by using a debit card or pay cash. In reality repairs at a dealership will run into the hundreds of dollars, if not thousands. In fact while waiting for my repair to be completed, I heard bills being quoted to customers at $700+, $950 and $430+. My actual bill was just above $300.00. I would suggest that most people do not leave a surplus to cover such bills in their checking accounts but will initially use a credit card until arrangements can be made to transfer funds or accommodate the payment of such an expense over a period of time. Indy Honda was our first stop, while car shopping. Honestly, I had Honda second on my list of interest, but Honda is located on the way to Mazda. So we stopped at Honda first. Salesperson, Casey, saw us checking out the model we were possibly interested in and came out to make his introduction. And it quickly became the all to familiar sexist scenario that many women are familiar with when car shopping. In the 15 minutes that we chatted with Casey, he asked my partner for his name three times. Each time, my partner responded, he also added, "and this is Angela." Never been a big fan of Indy Honda but they have hit an all-time low. I scheduled oil change & alignment. Total at checkout, $249. Prices are not transparent when scheduling online but I felt this was pretty high. Moving on. AFTER the work was complete and I went to pay, I was advised that if I used a card for payment, there was a 4% fee ($9.96). SAY WHAT??? I said you ought to let people know that; the response, "that is what I'm doing now." Um no. Prior to service completion, not after when it is time to pay. I don't know many people who walk around with hundreds of dollars cash on their person these days. Then, I look at my invoice and in "recommendation" is Oil Pan Reseal labor for $941. The car is a 2020 and has 31k miles on it. Two issues - WHY didnt service advisor even mention it? And when I asked how that can be on such a new car, he had nothing to say until I asked if that would be covered under warranty and he said yes, part of the powertrain. But no need to fix it now, it's minor leakage. I guess it would be better financially for Indy Honda if I waited until it was no longer under warranty and had to pay the $900+ All in all a bad experience; feels like no transparency and dishonesty. Purchased my Honda at Hare Honda in Avon and though not the most convenient for service since I'm in Greenwood area, it will be worth the trip because Indy Honda is no longer an option for me. It's been a while since I've been to this dealership, because the Honda I drive has very low miles and is not driven much. I decided to get an oil change, and of course the inspection was 'free'. When I went in there, they quoted me a price ($80.00 ish) and by the time I left I played 6 times that much. And then they gave me a sheet with a laundry list of all kinds of other things that will need to get done in the near future. I refused because the list basically amounted to over $1300. I almost soiled my jeans. I don't know if this dealership is hurting for money, but I'm going to another dealership the next time I get my Honda serviced. We bought a car from here a couple months ago and have had problems with it ever since. The service department here is a joke. Not even 2 weeks after having it, the battery went out and the car wouldn't even start. We got that replaced out of pocket because we figured it was just regular maintenance, even though we have a warranty. The headlight then goes out, again, not a problem we got it fixed. The window motor started to get slow when rolling up the driver side window, so we called to make an appointment and they told us they couldn't get us in on the weekends because nobody from the warranty place would be there. We both work throughout the week so that wasn't gonna work. We find a day that works finally. The backup camera then goes black so we also call about getting that fixed. Same thing. The warranty company wouldn't be there. As we're still waiting to get in to get both of these issues fixed. The driver side window isn't rolling up at all, it is stuck down. Mind you it is 0° outside in the dead of winter. I call to get in as soon as possible because we live in an apartment complex and can't leave the window down in the city. All he can recommend is we "put a trash bag over the window for now." If we were to take it in early to be garage kept, they wouldn't leave it in there and would move it to the lot. They can't get us in any sooner than a week. We have to drive to work and school and what not and we can't do that in a vehicle that is stuck with the window down and below freezing weather. This is absolutely absurd that we pay close to 500 dollars a month for a car payment on a car that should have had all of these regular maintenance issues maintained before we bought the car. Normally I wouldn't make such a big deal about these normal issues but considering we've had it for no time and things like this are happening, I'd say they didn't retune the car like they said they did. And instead of moving up an emergency to get in sooner, they still make you wait more than over a week to get in. There should be some sort of priority for unforeseen emergencies where they can get you in same day if that were the case. Will not be giving this place any future business. read more

I contacted Mr. Adams and told him we would take the Odyssey and I asked him if he would take a personal check. Mr. Adams stated unless the Honda was financed at their dealership the discount price was no good. Nowhere on their website or in his email was that mentioned. Mr. Adams transferred me to a Pete. THANKS TO RHORMAN'S INDY HONDA FOR THE HORRIBLE SERVICE AND SAVING ME MONEY - Special "THANKS" to Mr. Pio and Sales Manager Mr. Rector - Your lack of professionalism got me looking at other dealers that actually wanted my business. This poor performance got me into an almost identical vehicle at a savings of $3000.00. By looking at my options and dealing with reputable dealers, I got a better truck at a cheaper price. For what it is worth, the salesman, Mr. Pio, made an appointment with me to look at two specific vehicles. When I arrived, five minutes early for the planned and re-confirmed appointment, he was with another customer. I got passed off to someone else just sitting around the showroom. That salesman had no idea what I wanted so I had to tell him. Mr. Pio had done nothing to locate, prepare or pull out the vehicles I had asked to see. For almost 20 minutes, the new sales man looked for the vehicles and walked around the lot pushing the key fob trying to find either of the vehicles. Then he told me one was in the service department getting serviced. I finally told him, I had driven through the lot the night before and knew that both vehicles were in the far, back corner of the lot about 300 yards from the show room. Mr. Pio had not brought either up or washed them or anything to prep for the appointment. The new salesman said well, do you want to walk back there. I said no, obviously if your dealership can't prep for an appointment I shoed up for and no body knows where your inventory is on the lot, I think I should shop elsewhere. Then I got an email later from Mr. Pio to try and reschedule the appointment that mentioned something must have come up since I didn't come to the appointment we had made. I replied that I didn't need anything else from him . I sent my concerns to the Sales Manager who was at the dealership while I was there, Mr. Rector. I got no response from him to address my concerns. So I told him his lack of response showed this was not just with the one salesman. He then responded and said I was now complaining after saying I didn't need anything else. I didn't need anything from Mr. Pio..... after his unprofessional behavior. And nothing at all from Indy Honda after Mr. Rector's response. Now - I will never do any business with any Rhorman owned dealership ever... I suggest you avoid any Rhorman owned dealership.... Bob has to be rolling over in his grave. Thankfully, they are selling off profitable dealership like the Subaru dealer in Lafayette. Came in for simple oil change & tire rotation. This was after my initial oil change experience which took over 3 hours (with appt). The second time they twisted a lug off my front wheel. Had to come back for repair. Upon returning they had skillfully left a heat or dust shield loose so it would scrape at low speed. Since they twisted off the lug and replaced parts as a result I'm no longer able to use LKAS, since the car pulls to the left too hard. So... All things considered- Take your Honda to a dude named Cletus in his backyard, you'll have a better chance for a good result. Ignore the google reviews responses from the GM he's utterly incompetent. Buyer Beware Indy Honda I purchased a Honda Odyssey on 11/26/2022. I paid $500 deposit on 9/7/2022 for a Red Odyssey (we thought with black interior but ended up beige leather- wife not happy). Not the color of my choice but you don't have a choice. It's the vehicle allocated to the dealership. I received a call approximately 11/21/2022 that the Odyssey was at the dealership for pick up. This was right before the Thanksgiving Holiday. I'm a medical professional and my week was booked with work. I was told by the dealership that they wanted me to pick up the vehicle in 7 to 8 days after waiting about 3 months for the vehicle. I asked for a bill of sale from the salesperson I was working with. I was planning on paying all cash or partly finance through my credit union. So I needed bill of sale to get check before going to dealership. But the salesperson said I would need to meet with finance manager first. When I got there Saturday morning the Van was not detailed and ready. Sales rep. could not be there. So, I met with a co-worker. He went over the bill of sale with me not the finance manager. There were additional charges of $3145 I was not planning $2495 for Zeibart and $650 for Smartlink by Lojack. But the co-worker did not have the $650 price on bill of sale we went over, or I do not remember seeing it. I did not see this until on the way to credit union. I told the co-worker I was not aware of the Zeibart charges. He said it was encouraged to have done since the vehicle would be worth more if traded in later for another vehicle. He did say I could remove some of the parts of package as well. He talked to sales manager after my concern. The co-worker came back saying they would sell me package with $500 off since I was not aware of this as a not optional charge. This would have been optional normally in my earlier purchases of cars done with finance managers as up sales but optional. This was not optional in this case. When I finally met with the Finance manager after going to credit union for cash only purchase, he went over paperwork for signatures. I asked him about the $650 charge for LoJack to remove it. But he said it was an installed item and the charge could not be removed. So as I said before, these services would have been offered before this current low inventory environment during the paperwork signing as options to add with buyer agreement. In this case I felt I did not have a choice since we needed the van to transport our grandchildren. So It made it hard to walking away from the van. I asked another Dealership I normally have bought cars from. I did not go this time because they did not have a Van to purchase in the time frame I needed. But this finance manager said this is not how they would have conducted business. He said that his manager always told them that you can trim the wool from a sheep more than once, but you can only skin them once. I was skinned here. I was really impressed at first, since they did (almost) everything right and were very quick. However, at the end my car didn't get washed. Isn't that why you go to a dealership to get your car serviced? Because they go extra mile for you right? They didn't because of weather. I didn't buy it because it was completely CLEAR outside, and it hadn't rained all day, nor was it going to. It really shouldn't matter even if I decide to drive it in mud afterwards. I certainly expect a level of service associated with how much I pay for an oil change and tire rotation. One of the service ladies told me just to bring it back for a wash when the weather was nice. I brought my 2008 Honda CR-V in for a noise from the front left wheel. They quoted me $919 for front struts and a few more things. Took it to another mechanic and was told it didn't need anything and that the struts were so new that they still had the tags on them. In these times it's sad to have such a multimillion dollar business take advantage of hard working people. I'll be leaving a very poor review and notifying the news station of how Indy Honda is unethical and is trying to take advantage of people to stop this nonsense from happening to other customers. During the course of my experience, Indy Honda: Performed a service on my car that it wasn't brought in for Performed a service on my car without asking permission or informing of price Repeatedly did not follow up with information when they had promised to do so. Made excuses around their mistakes related to that their staff was new and their computer system was poor. Told me that work was complete on my car, resulting in my driving in, and then not having any work being done at all. Refusing to offer up solutions, requiring me to demand a response. Acted like I should be grateful for the unasked service they had performed on my car and provision of a loaner car while they completed work they said had already been done. Provided an insulting discount in making up for their mistakes. Took an inordinate amount of time to respond to a summary of their mistakes, which culminated in a 5-word response without any subsequent action. I've had excellent service at other Honda dealerships in Indianapolis and would highly recommend taking your car to one of these locations. read more

Honda sent me an email asking for a review. I provided the same information as I did here, except one thing: they don't wear mask or use sanitizer. It's a pandemic. They also sent me a email saying they replied on that site, however the review is no where to be found. I would not recommend this service department. They are terribly rude and spend their time talking poorly of customers.. they do not acknowledge you as you walk in even if you say hi. The only exception is Kevin. He's very professional. Found a Jeep Grand Cherokee for $24500 here went to go look at it and the price the salesman shows to me was $25500. He explains it's in fine print, it's for clean up of the car. Right there I'm ready to get screwed on my trade. They offered me $3000 below blue book trade. My trade is clean and one year newer than theirs. I'm so shocked this place has not already been shut down considering the slew of terrible reviews. I questioned to myself the other day how could Honda allow such a trashy, dishonest, unprofessional "establishment" still be run under their name.. My family has only ever purchased Honda's directly from the dealership itself. So I decided to test drive one of their vehicles. For the price itself I had every intention of buying it off the lot if everything went accordingly. I scheduled this test drive days in advance. I work all week and by the time I get off everything in closed so I came out on a weekend. I arrived a few minutes before my scheduled drive to see if it I could see it before the test drive and drove around the lot a few times. No where to be found. Finally I parked in front of the building and started walking around looking for a salesperson. Eventually someone came to greet my friend (not me and yes he was male) when I mentioned I had scheduled a test drive the other male salesman completely ignored me and began speaking to my friend informing him that the car is in the front lot (the one that we had just drove circles around) I let him know that we were just out there looking for the same vehicle and he looked my friend in the eyes and assured him the vehicle was there (once again not acknowledging that I was even speaking to him) still we walked around the lot and lo' and behold the car was not on the lot. Eventually the salesperson came back to us to let us know the car was sold this morning but they have plenty of other vehicles apologized and walked away. At this my friend and I were both beyond disgruntled. When a manager came out to speak to us. Once again, he only addressed my friend and he was downright rude. So we told the manager exactly what happened and the manager acknowledged there was no way anyone would have known that that car was sold earlier. When we suggested them implement a system in which they check exactly which cars are sold specifically for the ones that were scheduled for a test drive it would have been nice to know it had been sold a quick courtesy call a text IDC but the fact I drove out to the opposite side of Indy to see a car that wasn't really there and they had half the entire day to let me know if it was sold or not then urged me to check out a different car It felt like a bait and switch. I don't know about you but when I shop for anything customer service counts. Moving on from that when the manager grew tireless of speaking to us he exclaimed that the car had been sold a half hour ago and he watched it go off the lot. ...I asked him so was it sold this morning or was it sold 30 minutes ago ? Cause the first sales person told us it was on the lot and he himself told us he wasn't aware if the car was sold.. All he could say was okay so I can't bring the car back onto the lot. What are you going to do now. I wish I had read the reviews before coming here because not only was it a COMPLETE waste of time but they still think it's the 1950's. It's 2020; a little eye contact direct conversation and perhaps treating someone like a human being would keep this place from having such garbage reviews. So let's recap; sexist establishment; clueless employees; and garbage management. An establishment can only be as great as the people that run it. They charged me 500 dollars extra for LoJack equipment that I did not want on my car. This was not stated in the online description or on the car. When I talked to the sales guy basically told me they can do what they want because they decide how they sell their cars. I've contacted them several times to talk about this again and never get my call returned. The app is a 5 year subscription, not even something I will be able to keep forever. When I asked questions before the purchase, they seemed annoyed and said the device is on every car they sell. Which I don't honestly know if it's true because how much they have been avoiding me about this. I will not be going back to this dealership.
