Initially, my contact with the representative Todd Lipking was great and the communication was quick and responsive. Upon signing a Letter of Engagement and giving a deposit, stories changed, communication became spotty at best, and multiple dates of promise for scope of work and contracts being provided were broken. The date promised in the Letter of Engagement was broken by the company by almost 2.5 weeks or 11 business days. Multiple attempts at communication were not returned and finally was reached out to after being 'forgotten about.' The reviews and pictures of the work on Google do look good, and hopefully this is a one off for the company, but I would highly advise caution in dealing with a company that practices business like this especially when projects are of the magnitude and cost they are for custom built-ins and the like.

The quality of the main products sold here were good. That's why they initially had a higher…read morerating from me. But the installers, including the plumbers and the affiliated products were not that good. We had several attempts by the installers of the countertops to get them level without leaving damage to our existing walls and back splash. They kept sending the same guys to fix what they couldn't figure out the first time. Very frustrating though we love the way it looks now. About a month later, the new garbage disposal (underpowered) started leaking and fortunately my wife had a plastic tub that caught most of the draining water or our cabinets would have been ruined. We ended calling our preferred plumber to fix the problem which cost us additional fees. The housing of the subpar disposal leaked and let the water from the sink down into the area where the motor and power supply were and it then drained into the cabinet. Good thing the power doesn't stay on except for when in use. We hardly put anything down the disposal with the exception of some vegetable trimmings. No silverware or items known to be bad for disposals. My wife is trying to get a refund for the defective disposal. I think the store could use some re-evaluation of its subcontractors to improve their overall customer experience. Rev. #58

Our experience with Kitchen Master was great from start to finish - which is saying something…read morebecause they patiently waited for us to get our cabinets installed for over a year after our initial countertop meeting and purchase (supply chain issues impeded our cabinets from IKEA which delayed everything else). Sydney helped us with choosing our countertop and later with choosing a backsplash. She was great about touching base with us periodically as we waited for our kitchen to get finished and was always friendly and punctual. The guys who installed the countertop worked quickly and it looked amazing. They were also friendly and helpful with a few hiccups on our end of things. Finally, James came over every day for about a week and installed our backsplash and it is beautiful. He was really kind and didn't mind our toddler constantly talking to him and saying hi which really meant a lot to me. It was nice having someone so pleasant in our home and not feeling awkward about it. We were so happy with Kitchen Master and I absolutely recommend them for anything you might need!

Paula was the one I worked with to get the order established. She sent me an estimate, answered questions, and showed a great amount of patience while I was choosing what type of granite I wanted to use (providing new estimates for various types of stone). Then Pete (the owner) came to do measurements. Once everything was ready a crew of 3 came to install and all 3 of them were professional and friendly. TERRIBLE!! STAY AWAY!! Our family purchased an item that they had to order (not one mention of it…read morebeing a custom order). Once we got it home, it was determined the new fireplace wouldn't work for our space and we had to return it. They are charging a 20% restocking fee!!! Never once did they say anything about it being a "custom order/20% restocking fee." I tried to understand why the restocking fee; they said it was to mail the fireplace back. WAIT!!?? It's going to cost them $500 to mail it back to the manufacturer?? I offered to pay the shipping to return it to the manufacturer if that was the issue. They weren't interested in that; they want to collect their $500 "RESTOCKING FEE." We have done a lot of business with this place in the past. In fact, this past Spring, we purchased a large chimenea that is already cracked straight up the middle. It's ready for the trash. This place sure has gone downhill over the last 5 years that we've made purchases with them.

Brewer did a tile job for our hall bathroom in 2022. We had the best crew. We did a brick…read morepattern on the floor and the tile lines were perfect. The grout matched perfectly and the sealant has lasted into 2025 with no issues. They also completed the project in a week. In 2024, we hired them back to fix all the issues we had with our master bathroom remodel that was done at the same time by another company. This other well-known Indianapolis company had to rip out our tile twice as they couldn't line it up, put the wrong tile in, and couldn't lay it straight. Brewer came back to reattach the corner seat that had fallen off, re-leveled the threshold as the glass door was hard to close, and redid the grout on the shower floor and all the sealant in the shower as the sealant had completely come off. Again, this shower was done in 2022 by another company and took 2 1/2 months to complete before we fired them. We couldn't have been happier with Brewer. Margie L
