    Small soup and salad
    Lava Y.

It's all about salad bars in Dublin and Industry fits in pretty well along with others like Sprout, Cornucopia and Chopped which are not too far away either. On a busy sunny Saturday finding a nice quite place for lunch is near impossible, but Industry came to the rescue and I ordered the small salad (2 salads) + one meat + soup combo for 10.45 euro. The food was great, tasted really nice and flavourful for salad. The options they had were lentil salad, butterbeans, carrot and fennel, cucumber, sweet potatoes and beetroot with feta, and the meat choices were either grilled chicken skewers or salmon. The prices were all under 10 euro and the potions are just right. I got the tomato and butter bean soup which was amazing! The other option there was sweet potato and coconut milk. There is very little seating, maybe only 5 tables plus 3 window seats, but the atmosphere is fairly chic yet serene being in the corner of a design shop. The staff were quite nice, and it caters well for vegetarians. By the way, they don't serve food on Sundays, just baked treats and coffee/ tea. The shop itself is Irish design so everything they sell is very simplistic with a rustic feel to it. The sea based cosmetic range is pretty nice and smells lovely. The prices are not too high but not cheap either, however the quality seems good and the design is quite unique. Overall, a trendy design store harbouring a great little cafe!

Love love love the array of designers they carry. Their look is a great combo of industrial and cozy - a cohesive feel to the place while still offering pieces that cater to several styles. Definitely bookmarking the shop for a future visit! (I went to the location on Drury street.)

What an amazing homeware/ cafe shop. Lovely pieces of furniture and lights. Amazing interior, i really liked the tiles (not sure if its Mexican tiles) used in the cafe. Plus, what a great spot for healthy colourful salads, cakes and coffee/tea. They care a lot about quality of food and presentation. We had coffee / tea and lemon puppy seeds cake, and my God it was delicious. They places both the cakes and drinks on a thin wooden board and it looked amazing every thing was placed in proportion according to their sizes.

Really cool little spot half vintage 2nd hand store an half cafe. It's set up on Drury street which is ever growing with fab coffee shops Really sweet little spot and actually really great coffee to be had hear as well ! Looks like it's expensive to eat tho , I seen a deal for soup and a salad for €11 ! Seemed steep Had a walk around the shop then at down for a coffee hard to decide if it's a vintage store with a cafe in it or the other way around it's a odd little space but I do really like it ! It works for me :) Girl at the coffee station was really plesent to talk to aswell which is always nice

Industry is a great place to shop for that special something either for a gift or for your home. It's uber stylish and parts of the shop have scenes that could be taken straight from a magazine- I've featured it on my blog and in free-lance work in the past but hadn't been in a while so it was great to revisit on Yelps #DublinDesignNight - it was also a great chance to try out their food and drink - on offer that night was their 'new to the menu' Moroccan meatballs which www fresh and delicious and their Industry storm cocktails although the later were special to the menu for the night that was in it. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and it's a big recommendation to visit and shop

Filled with cutesy clothes, jewellery, accessories, children's toys, old books and the like, Lucy's Lounge is a perfect portal for mid-afternoon shopping heaven. Who knows what precious knick knacks you'll come across in this tiny basement? The shopkeeper is fitted out in an intriguing blend of the shop's wares, intricately done up in shawl, flowery hat, old fashioned dress and a mish-mash of accessories. She is a cross between Mary Poppins and the 'feed the birds' woman, and she is lovely lovely lovely! There are some exquisite discoveries to be made by whoever has the patience to sift through the wares in this store. Whether you're on the hunt for a vintage dress, a tacky 80s fluoro ski jacket, a pair of dainty gloves or a funky wall hanging, this place is worth a look! What we have here however is a much more slapdash and sporty collection as opposed to the more 'classic silk dresses that feature the same flower-patterned design as seen on your grandmother's old apron but in this context looks chic and unexpectedly fashionable' look found in abundance in other eminent Temple Bar vintage outlets such as Lucy's Lounge. In fact, what am I saying, Eager Beaver isn't vintage at all, it is the definitive retro retreat. In point of fact, I stand corrected again as it's not even a 'retreat' - no that's far too subtle a word - it is in truth a big, slapdash retro bonanza! Does that communicate the zealousness I feel towards this shop enough for you? Untailored, informal retro is the name of the game here with a couple of clothes racks packed solely with 70's Adidas track-suit jackets, denim jackets, Led Zeppelin tees, Stan Smith trainers, Nike 1970s Elite pumps with a sweet nylon upper, waffle sole and old school colourway and even Puma trackie bottoms - see what I mean about the large array of sportswear. Be sure to set a decent amount of time aside so as to allow for a real hardcore rummage in and amongst this collection of quality curios.

Just a little off the beaten path along Seafort Avenue, this is the secret shop D4 dandies go to for the best of Fashion Weeks past, as previously worn by Social and Personal types. Step into the back for a look at filmier gowns and frocks, but steel thyself for the prices -there's no bargain basement prices (but you will get that Chanel blouse at half it's original sale price). My first introduction to Second Avenue was on a cold spring day a few years back; as we rounded a corner on a closed up shop I wondered if we'd gone too far. A moment later the shop front appeared, blocked in by rows of Land Rovers parked right in front of the shop window. Inside there was quiet as women fanned through beautiful silks and suits hung along the wall racks. At the centre table I fell in love with a black croc clutch that I would end up going back twice to mull over bringing home. The price tag ended the would-be romance.
