The classes are two hours and go by quickly. There are warm ups, instructional time, demonstrations, partner practice dancing, and instructor feedback. Susana tries to keep it a relaxed, family atmosphere and is very welcoming of new students. The facility is nice, clean, and comfortable. There are ample bathrooms. I believe there is a water dispenser, but I usually just bring a bottle of water. There's only a small parking lot, so you may have to find a spot on one of the side-streets nearby. The students are of various experience levels and also friendly. New students can attend solo and use socks until they get some proper dance shoes. I have taken some classes at other studios for different styles of dancing and Susana's class is my favorite. I find it the most challenging, appreciate the extended class time & depth of explanation, and like the physical training exercises the best. If you haven't tried Argentine Tango @ Ambiance yet, I recommend giving it a shot and think it will fundamentally improve you as a dancer overall.

We laughed so much while we learned the basics of 4 different dances!!! We were really nervous before we went. As soon as we walked in the door we were immediately put at ease by the owner of the studio, Doreen. She greeted us with a warm smile and relaxed demeanor that completely made us feel like we'd been friends for years. This vibe continued throughout the entire lesson. Before we knew it we were dancing around the floor laughing and accomplishing dance steps that we never thought we'd be able to do before we walked in. There was no question that we wanted more.
