The Monday before the class Hope (the owner) contacted me via text message to see if I would be registering my daughter for the hip-hop class (Which I thought was strange) I responded with I think we're going to do ballet. I think it's on Tuesday... Hope responded with they had a Tuesday class and a Wednesday class I told her I think we will be attending the Tuesday class however my daughter is not feeling well but we will try to make it The owner responded with I will add her to the roster I hope she feels better. I responded with thank you, because that's what you do when someone tells you that they hope your child feels better when they're not well. A few minutes later, she charged my credit card, which I didn't even know until I had looked at my statement did not know that her telling me she was going to add my daughter to the roster meant she was going to register my child for this class. I wasn't even sure if we were going to make it, I had planned on registering my child the night we attended the class. I did not know that "I'm going to add her to the roster" meant that you're going to pay for this class now I'm fighting with the credit card company trying to get a refund for a class that my daughter did not attend and for a class that I did not register my daughter for. I'm the one who should decide if I register my child for a class or not the owner took it upon herself to keep my credit card information on file since June 2024 to then turn around and charge my credit card in August 2024 without my permission. She did not ask me if I wanted my child registered for the class. She simply said I'm going to add her to the roster. When I told her I wanted a refund because we're not going to do the class she told me she couldn't give me a refund. I picked up the phone and tried to call her. She didn't even answer my call. She just simply continued to send me text messages. Then in the same conversation, she told me that she would give me a 50% refund. Honestly, it's not about the money. It's the simple fact that I didn't give this company permission to charge my card. I didn't give permission to register my child for this class.. Going forward, I would hope that they would not conduct business via text messaging and I would hope that next time they charge somebody's credit card that they need to spell out I am adding your child to the roster, which means I am taking it upon myself to register your child for this class. I never thought that I would be going back-and-forth about an extracurricular activity that I never registered for that my child never attended. This whole situation has been completely ridiculous, unnecessary and unprofessional

Disheartening Discrimination Experience. Men Aren't Welcome Here…read more I attempted to join one of the salsa dance classes, but it appeared that I was the only man, leading to my denial of entry. I felt treated as if I were a threat. Upon arriving, I tried to use the front door, but it was locked. A woman in the class looked at me through the glass door, her expression conveying annoyance or possibly disgust (though I can't be certain), and directed me to enter through the back door. Following her instructions, I went to the back door and knocked, but received no response. I then attempted to call the studio's phone number, yet received no answer.

Been to several beginner group dance lessons at this fine establishment and have enjoyed it each…read moretime. All of the staff is friendly and nice. They try to learn the students names and it feels more like a relaxed family atmosphere. The actual facility is very clean, spacious, well-decorated, and has comfortable seating while you are waiting for your class. Thankfully, there is also a water fountain and water dispenser. The other students are friendly as well and the dance studio location is in a safe area with plenty of parking. Their website has a monthly calendar that lists all of the scheduled classes and events. There's a wide breath of styles including salsa, swing, ballet, cha cha, and even line dancing. You can drop in and pay by the class (around $15-20), but I hear there's a monthly option that allows you to take all classes at a discounted rate. In the classes I have been to, the instructors demonstrate the dance moves, walk through the steps with the students, and then have rotating partner dances for practice.
