I had a horrible experience here. My hair was not at all what it was supposed to be. After the correction that I had the stylist do, she told me that I needed to communicate better with my stylist next time, and that it was only "half" my fault, and the other half was on her. Never in my over 10 years of getting my blonde highlights touched up have I ever had to explain more than I did to her. She tried hard to want to make it up to me, but after the "correction" it was still not at all what it was supposed to be. I ended up at another salon to have the second correction done, paid money, instead of going back for another free correction. This was the worst $85 dollars that I have ever spent. She was friendly, but you should NEVER tell the customer that she needs to communicate better- or that it is "half" their fault. read more

Went in to get a cut. Obviously there's plenty of spots within walking distance, so I just happened into this one by chance. By chance also, I got Susy. She listened to exactly what I wanted (instead of just hearing me and doing what she wanted anyway, like a lot of stylists and barbers) and gave me one of the best cuts I ever have had! I had angela cut my hair and got the worst haircut I ever had in my entire life. I would of given 0 star rating if Yelp allowed me to.

I went in for a bayalage and walked out with a DISASTER! I had a picture I found on the internet to give an idea of what I was looking for with color. I wanted a darker base color with blonde tones running through it. We never discussed the color blonde and I didn't really give it much thought since the picture was there as a reference as to what I wanted. The lady was rushing putting my hair in foils and splatting product everywhere, including all over herself. By the time she reached the back of my hair and the last foil, she checked my hair and began using a water spray bottle to wet my hair (probably to deactivate the hair dye) my hair was nearly WHITE, it was a platinum blonde which was NOT what we had discussed nor did the picture indicate all platinum blonde. I asked her to just take me to a solid color and she told me she did not have any hair product left in back. She insisted that she just tone my hair and it should look close to the dark base color, temporarily. After toning my hair twice, she began to dry my hair, the ends looked ashy! My ends were fried badly and then she said she would cut some of the ends of the ashy bits off, hesitant from her workmanship I did not want her to even consider cutting my hair. She took off some ends, which later I noticed is now an uneven cut. She charged me 140.00 for the visit which advertised she has baylage at 120.00 which I did NOT end up with. The 20.00 dollars probably went to the fast straightening job she did to make my hair not look so frizzy. Plus I had hair dye all over me, my neck, my ears and my forehead. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN AND i CERTAINLY DO NOT RECOMMEND IT! I plan on getting my money back. How a business owner cannot take pride in their work and allow me to leave paying full price for such a shitty job. It was like a child blind folded dyed my hair. read more

I'm newer to the area and have been going to a different salon each time I need a haircut in search of a stylist that I am comfortable with. This was not the place. While the stylist was nice and well-intentioned, she had zero knowledge of short haircuts. First, all the stations are cluttered and look unprofessional. Even the paint job in the place looks sloppy. Not a good sign. Their sink was so uncomfortable I could hardly bear to get my hair washed and urged the stylist to get me out ASAP. The building is also un-air conditioned, while in OH is understandable for some businesses but a salon is one place where that amenity is almost a necessity for client comfort. The haircut itself was a disaster. I ended up going to the Exchange to have the barber fix it. I usually get my eyebrows waxed when I get my hair cut, but I didn't want to spend another minute there. read more
