I called a couple of months in advance to schedule my appointment and then called again the Monday before my appointment (that Saturday) to confirm the price of the service I wanted (balayage). The woman I spoke to quoted me $203.00, which I was fine with and had planned my finances accordingly. When I arrived for my appointment, everything with the stylist went smoothly, but when I went to check out, I was told the total was $328.93--$125.93 MORE than the price I was quoted just days earlier. This is a huge discrepancy, and it caught me off guard, especially after I had specifically confirmed the price only days before. Not only was I frustrated by the unexpected cost, but it also meant I couldn't tip my stylist as generously as I had planned. This lack of transparency and poor communication from the front desk is completely unacceptable. It's a huge disappointment because the stylist was wonderful, but the experience overall was marred by the miscommunication. I strongly urge the salon to address their pricing clarity and ensure that customers are quoted accurate information to avoid situations like this in the future.
