After speaking with the sales man, we filled out paperwork with our names, address, and a description of iron/security door we were interested in attaining a quote for. We made an appointment for July 25th at 11am. At 11:30 I called their business to find out if someone was coming. A receptionist took all the same info we'd already provided at the home show (carbon copy provided to us, they had the original). She then said she'd have someone look into this. No show, no return call, text, or email. We're so disappointed with businesses at these shows, as they act like they want your business, but never follow through. To say the least we'll be looking elsewhere for a security door!

We hired CC&R handyman services for a few minor repairs to a condo that we just purchased. We are…read morenot from AZ and were trying to get repairs complete before moving our daughter into the condo for college. Some of the work to be completed: 1- Installing a hot water tank and replacing the water shutoff valve. This part of the job was completed correctly. However, the rest of the job has been a nightmare. I started making the arrangements to have work done 3 weeks before we arrived in Phoenix. Day that the owner/contractor (Sally) came to do the work, she did not bring needed supplies and had to reschedule. I had previously communicated we only had a 6 day window that we would be in Phoenix and needed repairs to be completed during that time. She came to finish the work, but did not complete the job. She installed kitchen faucet incorrectly (mixed up hot and cold water lines) and also the bathroom faucet was installed incorrectly (handles installed sideways and the drain was leaking after she replaced the faucet) the rest of the tasks were not even started. We had to leave Phoenix without the work being complete. Communicated with her and she assured us work would be completed before we returned to Phoenix in 3 weeks. She did complete work 1 day before we arrived, after telling me that she would now need to charge an additional trip fee, which I refused to pay as multiple trips to our condo were not my fault. When I arrived to the condo I found that the Air Conditioner in the ceiling was now leaking all over the tile floor. (This was not happening until she worked on the bathroom faucet and drain which has an AC condensation pipe that flows into the bathroom drain) I had an AC company come out and they found that Sally had 1-put the drain trap in backwards causing the water to backup the sink drain pipe and not allowing the water from the AC unit to drain into the pipe which in turn caused water to back up in the AC drip pan and spill all over the floor. This is literally BUCKETS of water, not just a little trickle. I sent her a video of the water falling from the ceiling, which she said was not due to her work. We are very lucky that the work was completed right before we returned to Phoenix or we would have had severe floor damage to our tile. and 2- she used improper fittings and seals in the drain. This cost me $200 to have her work corrected by the AC company. Sally wanted to come look and repair the work herself, which we declined due to her errors. Sally offered to split the $200 charge (that was 100% the result of her incorrect work). Sally also requested payment in full BEFORE the work was complete. I paid her a partial payment for the hotwater tank work and asked that she complete the other work and email me an invoice to pay from once the work was complete. I mailed her a check for the work once it was complete minus the $100 she agreed to cover for half of the cost to repair her poor work. She is now texting me wanting a credit card payment because she says that my check has not arrived. Stay clear of this contractor.

B&O..not "BO" mind you... is a legendary Danish company creating completely BAD ASS audio…read moreequipment. I'd say it's like the Bose of Europe...only with stunning Scandinavian design, better sound quality, and a significantly heftier price. For this location of Bang & Olufsen (of which they do not have that many in-person stores...I've previously purchased online only), it's nestled between the Scottsdale Airport and Scottsdale Quarter, in a VERY unassuming business park building. In fact, when I found it (very SMALL sign on Butherus to lead the way to the parking lot), I actually thought I had gotten the address wrong, as it looked much more like a B&O location that might do professional home audio installations. Alas, I was in the correct place - they have a small side "PLAY" room that allows you to try out all the gear and see/touch them in person and check out the sound quality and easily compare. I had called the day prior inquiring about a limited time floor sample sale that I had seen on the B&O website, and I was told Kaitlyn was the expert on headphones and would be there to help me. Indeed, she IS a wonderful sales person - incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and very, very patient for my approximately 1000 questions. I ended up buying 2 items (with plans to buy another once some new, more bold colors come out for the EQ in-ear headphones). I'm DEFINITELY not in the market for the home audio items, which can get extremely pricey. Like... EXTREMELY pricey!!! But, it was actually a lot of fun to try out the fancy-pants home audio setups, in a sort of "maybe my life will turn out such that I can afford a home full of B&O gear"!
