I shopped around on a Saturday and a contacted 10 companies who ranged from 12,000.00, 8,000.00, 7,600.00 and everything in between. Now, mind you they were all talking the same language giving me the same 10-ton unit and the R 54. I was confused. I finally spoke to Reza of All Electric and AC who assured me that they had the best price, better 10 yr warranty and 2 yrs maintenance at $6,599.00. The job was professionally done, it took about 3 hours, they were clean, the young gentleman swept my floors and stairs. All material outside were picked up and everything runs perfectly and a new thermostat that can be controlled from my phone. When the other companies tell you, well they are cheaper because you won't get the same quality things, that's a lie. Reza match the $12,000.00 price apples for apples. From the start they were very quick to respond to my call and then to send someone over to check out the situation. I have a garage apartment that I had just leased to a family in need. They moved in only to discover that the ac unit was not functioning. It was right after hurricane Beryl hit and it was mid summer heat making it difficult to be without ac service. The tech was over promptly and started checking things out. I had a new unit installed in the attic just months before but since I wasn't living there I was ignorant of any problem. I had also just had the unit renovated and assumed everything was in proper condition. The tech needed to get into the attic only to discover that the attic access door was nailed closed. After struggling to remove the door and gain entry into the attic the technician discovered that there was an additional power switch located inside of the ac housing. He only needed to remove the cover and turn the unit ON! EC AC was awesome and only charged me for the time the technician was there. I shudder to think of how many other people would take advantage of a situation like this to add extras to their service bill. Prompt, Honest, Friendly Customer Service. What more do you want? Thankfully, this incredible team stepped in and completely changed the game. With freezing temperatures on the horizon, we were desperate, and they absolutely delivered. They quickly diagnosed the issue, submitted the ticket, and got us back on the schedule. Mike (owner?) answered and said he would send out Stephan that afternoon at 2:00 p.m.. I left to take a return to the USPS on Red Oak but couldn't get away in time for the appointment. Stephan called as I was leaving the Post Office and he agreed to wait until I got home. Stephan quickly diagnosed the problem (failed capacitor) and had a replacement in hand. He explained the cost, which was more than fair. Stephan quickly installed the replacement and tested to insure it was working properly. He went inside and checked and adjusted the thermostat at no additional charge. High quality work at a more than fair price. I'll definitely use this provider in the future.

I explained that I was unaware that Comfort Squad was bought out by Mr. Reliable, so I called them for a service because my drain from the hvac drip pan appeared to be draining quite a bit from the hose in the attic. I have a service plan with Comfort Squad, so I called them to see if there is a bigger problem or a clog. The service tech came for 5 min and said you need a plumber because your sink on the other side of the house is draining slowly and that is probably the issue. Ultimately, that may be the issue, but as I said the tech was here maybe 5 min. He then states the cost is $50.00. I said for what. You have been here 5 min. I state I have a service plan from Comfort Squad, even at that point he still does not point out that Comfort Squad was bought out and we don't use their service plan. He said, I will let the office know. So then the office calls me and states that I have a charge of $50.00. I explain, I had a service plan, and that the tech was here for 5 minutes or less. So I say, go a head and invoice me, I think this is BS but go ahead and invoice me. The dispatch manager then tells me how they are no longer Comfort Squad and I asked why haven't you sent out a notice to all of the past clients of Comfort Squad and let us know what changes to expect. He then states, "well we can not come out for any new services until the $50.00 is paid." This is where I felt insulted because I already requested the invoice and said I was going to pay, why are you telling me if I do not pay..." Unfortunately, I am extremely dissatisfied with this entire process. Because now that I think of it, why didn't the person I set the appointment with yesterday on the phone inform me it would be $50.00 and that they were no longer Comfort Squad. It's unfortunate because I brought business to Comfort Squad because they had such spectacular service. What a change...

I have been using the same company in Houston for all our HVAC calls for 10 years. We recently…read morecalled them to check our two GFA furnaces and the tech who came out was unable to diagnose or fix the issue, but recommended ordering parts for replacement. I called Sun based on their reviews and they said they could send someone out within hours. Richard arrived promptly, listened to me describe what had been happening with the furnaces, and then very patiently and thoroughly checked and tested both units. He was very patient and explained what he was doing. I am a woman but I am the "handy person" in our house and many times technicians will assume that I am clueless. Richard fixed the problem (there was condensate trapped in the line) and then stayed to make sure the systems were running correctly. It was an absolute delight to work with him and I will never go back to my old HVAC service again. Side note: Sun charged me less to fix the problem than what my old HVAC company charged for the service call that yielded no diagnosis or fix.
