This photo says it all. These are the second (maybe third) pair of pants I've received after having them "custom made" and waiting weeks each time. The women's pants are not made for women. I ordered two suits online and knew that for the price they wouldn't be top‑of‑the‑line, but I at least expected something better than off‑the‑rack. Instead, the whole experience has been exhausting, frustrating, and ultimately a waste of time and money. After three visits to the store and three separate shipments, I still don't have a single complete suit that fits correctly. Out of everything I ordered, I'm left with one jacket that I only kind of like. They do have a lot of nice selections and customizations but even the customizations I picked out were missed when I received the product. My fiance and I went to Indochino to pick out suits for the groomsmen because our first suit company completely messed up the suits. Adam was very knowledgeable and assured us that the suits would get there in time... Flash forward to three weeks before the wedding- the groomsmen's suits were all put on hold aka were not in production. The suits come from China and we were assured that the suits would make it in time. Finally a week after, my fiance was on top of them and was told would not make it in time. My recommendation is you should book an appointment first before visiting if you want to get measured and place an order. Though there are 2-3 people to assist with, they might get really busy with one customer at a time. I thought the staff was really helpful in terms of details to the suite. My Love needed a new suit and he's never splurged on anything custom made before. They were having a sale and, honestly, it wasn't really going to be more than an off the rack suit once we factored in alterations (because the price for alterations at a suit shop in Houston are INSANE, and here they are included). The fitting experience was FANTASTIC. We were able to pick out (ok, it was me, I picked it all out because the man goes face-blank when we start talking # of buttons, monograms and collar styles) every aspect of the suit. I knew what I wanted and they were happy to accomodate. Our fitter was clearly, CLEARLY, experienced. What worried us was the turn around time? Would it get here or would it be delayed? Well, in 2 weeks we got the notice from DHL (SOOOOO happy), tried on the suit, fell in love with that man all over again and set up a final fitting appointment. That appointment was the icing on the cake (tall, bearded gentleman ROCKED and I apologize for not knowing his name). This suit FIT (short, lovely woman did the original fitting and I wish I remembered her name) and the modifications were relatively minor. When I commented on the shirt we'd bought, they made the alteration I requested so that we have it for this wedding but are ALSO going to have the shirt remade, free of charge, to fix a larger issue due to his body changes, not their fault. I'm picky. I want what I want and I want it how I want it. For us? This was a GREAT experience and he's already agreed that I can buy him more shirts because they were such a great quality. read more

the pandemic was over and I after gaining a few pounds I was in need of new suits. some of my coworkers recommended Indochino. So I went in and was greeted by a very nice guy who took my measurements and helped me through the ordering process. All nice and good so far... 6 weeks later and I had the 2 suits I ordered delivered at front door. I took them back to the store to finalize the last minor details and alterations, However I noticed that the jacket in the gray suit was cut too narrow at the shoulders (I am no tailor but I was pretty sure that there was no fixing that, they were gonna have to cut me another Jacket). The people in the store assured me that they could fix it so I left the suits there to have them fitted. The process was supposed to take 2 weeks, it took 3 weeks and it was me who had to call them to inquire about the status of the alterations, they told me the clothes were ready. I went the very next day to pick them up. The Blue suit fitted me pretty nice, the gray one not so much, I showed the lady working the floor that evening how tight and narrow it was around my shoulder and she agreed. She called for the tailor and I told him that I didn't really think he could fix the jacket, he told me that the problem was that I had to much muscle around my shoulder area (Why is that problem if this is supposed to be measured to fit?) and that he could fix by taking the shoulder in a bit more then he left. I expressed my concerns to the sales rep and told her: "taking the shoulders in a bit more is going to make the problem bigger not fix it, could you just cut me another Jacket please?" to which she replied: "Our tailor is great, he knows what he is talking about, he actually works on women clothes" to which I thought why is he working then on men's clothes?... But I left the garment with them anyway, I figured I could use the blue suit in the meantime. The process was supposed to take another 2 weeks but again it took them 3 weeks. So FastForward 3 weeks and this is my third time in the store. the sales rep brings out the jacket and guess what.... it looks worse than what it did when I first got it, I'm taking a picture right now so anyone reading this review can see how ridiculous it looks, feel free to refer to the picture to admire the workmanship of this one tailor that specializes in women's clothes.... I guess the rep saw how botched the jacket looked for this time I didn't have to ask, she said: "were gonna have to cut you a new jacket!" I asked her if they had to measure me again and she assured me that all the pertinent info was in their system and that I didn't have to worry. cool I thought, only I'll have to wait another 5 or 6 weeks, fine I'll just have to be a little more patient. FastForward another 7 weeks and I don't have my suit Jacket yet. So I called the store (I had to call 7 times before anyone picked up) and explained the situation, the person who picked up the phone apologizes and says that the order to remake the jacket wasn't put in. WHATTTTT???? ARE YOU SERIOUS???? I remained calmed and collected despite the anger growing inside of me, he assured me that he was going to put the order in that very evening. 2 days later I called again to make sure that this time the order was indeed submitted, guess what.... I had to explain the situation again to another sales rep and he apologized and said he was a manager, and he was going to make sure that he put in the order in himself and that that I would receive a confirmation email. I waited another 4 days and no confirmation email arrived. I called again today September 22nd of 2022 and asked the guy who picked up the phone if he could confirm that an order to cut me another jacket was put in, to which he said: "I'm going to try and expedite that process for you, what was wrong with jacket? Were the shoulders cut to wide?" at that point I lost it and started raising my voice angrily demanding a refund. he said "we don't give refunds. sir, please calm down I'm trying to help you" so I apologized and explained how the Jacket was cut too narrow at the shoulders and that I was feeling incredibly frustrated. He assured me that he was going to take care of the problem and send me a confirmation email after the order was put in. I'm willing to bet I won't receive a confirmation email or a call back or a Jacket any time soon. So my only choice left was to waste my precious time writing this review and possibly go to the store again to talk to another sales rep and explain the situation again and observe and make sure that he puts an order in the computer to cut me another jacket. It's been 4 months and I still don't have the suit I paid over $400 for. feel free to refer to the screen shot I took of the transaction for the 2 suits in May. I have been searching online for affordable, custom-tailored suits, and Indochino popped up at the top of the list, so I decided to check them out, and I am utterly happy that I did. The store is very spacious with different color fabrics and patterns. Customer service was very attentive and helpful. I made an appointment for my measurements and to look at colors and materials. I finally picked a color, and the sale associate said that it could take up to 5 weeks for my suit to be delivered, but I received it in 3 weeks. I made another appointment for my "final look" to voice any concerns and have a professional advise me on what alterations I could make. Again, the sale associate said that alterations could take up to 2 weeks. Overall, I am very happy with the process and super excited to see my tailored suit. I did a lot of research online for affordable suits for a group of groomsmen. The most difficult factor was we needed them to all be matching (so no mismatching shades of gray) and because we were all located in different cities, Indochino ended up being the option we went with. For myself, I was measured in the store and purchased a suit (blazer and pants) online. A number of weeks later the suit arrived at my home through the mail in a pizza box type of shipping container. The suit was miraculously unharmed and fit very well. The inseam was perfect and the sleeves were the perfect length. The only change I would make is near the shoulders and putting a little extra room there. I would recommend visiting a store for measurements for the most complete experience as one of the groomsmen needed additional alterations because they had used third party measurements. The only fault I would give to Indochino is that their build quality isn't the best. If you intend to wear the suit often, you may find some of the stitches coming loose over time. First experience @ Indochino, First let me say that I have already highly recommend the overall "idea" of Indochino to many of my friends. I ordered 5 shirts one pair of pants to test the experience. 1st fitting: You can't just walk into Indochino and buy something or get fitted. You have to book an appointment. That could be about 4 days to a week. Then the measures you from head to toe so that they have everything for what ever you'd care to order. Nice! Then you select fabrics and all options related to your 1st purchase. It's taking about 4-6 weeks turn around time. However mine took only 2 weeks to ship and a few days in transit. Received: Found that the shirts fit huge. Like buying a shirt made for someone 6'2" 280. I'm avg size little thicker in the collar and some extra Dad weight. Pants were nice but needed some extra adjusting to be perfect. Second fitting: Length shorter and width comes in by 4 inches + Pants tighten waist. Length let out. Should have been 1/2 break. Otherwise very happy. Could have worn them without any major issues. Outcome: Had to remake all the shirts. Thumbs down. This means 3 weeks +. I'll update when received. Update: received the shirts in about 2 weeks + and they fit great better than my other custom shirts. I think the essential thing is to allow time to remake if needed on the first round. At this point I'm ready to order another 5 shirts with confidence. Pants will take at least 3-4 weeks. Thumbs down. Way down. Something so easy could be done quickly. Update: Still haven't been called to pick up my pants! Recommendations: Indochino: you must hire and train people better. Measurements need to be accurate. Slow down and focus on accuracy! They are understaffed on both the floor and alterations. If people could get fine adjustments in 3-5 days this would be great. 7 days on a jacket or suit. Floor needs at least 3 full time during the week staffing 4 -5 people on the weekends. Upset customers on the floor will kill your sales before they start. Customers: this is a great concept and I'm thinking I'll still recommend them. But if your need something "like now" or have a trip coming up. You need to give yourself 2 months. If you have plenty of clothes to wear and just need to update a few things or want to rotate to an entirely new wardrobe in time, fine. Build it to order and save thousands or hundreds; but you'll need some patients. I'd suggest starting with a suit and a shirt and perfect the measurements. Once this has been refined. Order at will. Have a back up tailor. I use Carol's Alterations and Tailoring on Shepard in upper Kirby / River Oaks. Fair, fast, & accurate. Ultimately, you'll still save money overall if you are on the go and down have the time or inclination to wait. Guys who don't wear a lot of jackets, suits, and dress wear; Young guys on a budget. Your dollar goes along way here and your going to look expensive once it's complete. Those that spend $100 + on alterations normally, this place is for you. Edit: After going back in and getting re-meadured and working with Josh, the suit fits amazing. I changed my review to 4 stars. Still not 5 because if the frustration of everything coming out sized wrong initially, but I would recommend this place, now. Considering purchasing more items, now. -----------------------original review--------------------- 4 pieces that were "made to measure" none of them fit correctly. 1. The pants were ordered in the wrong size altogether and are not able to even be altered, a brand new pair has to be made and sent from China. 2-3 week wait. 2.The shirt I ordered fit worse than if I had pulled one off the rack at a department store.The shirt sleeves were not only way too long but the bicep measurement was inches larger than my arms and looked terrible. The chest measurement was also off. 2-3 week wait for alterations. 3. I ordered a vest, as well. The vest measurements also were incorrect. The shoulders have to be brought up and the sides need to be brought in. Basically, the entire garment was not made to my measurements. 2 - 3 week wait for alterations. 4. The suit jacket looked the best out of all the pieces, but still did not fit like a jacket made for my measurements should fit. The arm holes on the jacket were cut too small & caused creases in the chest, they needed to be altered. 2 - 3 week wait for alterations. The people in the store were very pleasant to deal with and the store was clean and looked good. I was helped by 2 different gentlemen during my first visit, great conversations & a pleasant environment. When I came back to have the suit "final fitted", the gentleman that helped me was super friendly and pleasant, again. Their staff is the reason I gave them 2 stars on this review, if it were based on quality of work or meeting expectations, they would have been given the lowest possible rating. I purchased a suit from Indochino because the turn around time was supposed to be 2-3 weeks for me to have a custom suit made to my measurements. So many mistakes were made by Indochino, I now have to wait 2-3 weeks more, double the time it should have taken. Indochino also is not offering anything to compensate for their many mistakes during this process. I'm not expecting financial compensation, but expedited altering in the pieces that can be salvaged & rushed manufacturing & shipping on the piece that has to be completely remade in China, would be a great customer service move. They aren't offering to do anything. I have been asked many times from Indochino to write a review. My feeling is if they would spend more time making garments correctly and not focusing on reviews, great reviews would automatically be the result. read more

We ordered a suit from Indochino (in store) the first week of February for a May wedding. We were told at that time that it would take 5 weeks for it to come in. 2.5 weeks after the suits were ordered, we were contacted by the store saying that there was some kind of server issue on their end and that our order was never actually summitted, but that they were submitting it at that time. They assured us at that point that the suits would still be here before the wedding. It has now been more than 11 weeks. We are now 2 days away from the wedding and the suits are not here. I have called Indochino about this and they are totally useless. They also refuse to give us any kind of compensation or refund and we are left scrambling to find something for the Groom to wear. Don't waste your money and save yourself a massive headache by shopping literally anywhere but here! read more

Full disclosure this 1 star is for the business as a whole not the location in the Galleria or the employees there. In all honesty when I've gone into the store, they do a good job. My issue is with the business. I have purchased 3 suits in the last 2 years. One of the suits, which I barely wore for a year due to COVID, malfunctioned and the pants frayed at the seem. I didn't split them, the material was defective. I knew due to timing between when I purchased the pants that I was not going to get them replaced. Never had that expectation. But here's what I got: - It took months to get ANY response - Once I did I got "Sorry, outside of our refund period, can't help" [I knew that already and had acknowledged/didn't expect and didn't ask for a refund] - I explained I wanted to buy the pants again but the fabric didn't seem to be used any longer. They confirmed this, and again offered no help, no solution and basically said "Sorry" I wasn't offered a solution and I have a suit jacket with no matching pants. $350 wasted for maybe 9 months of use. Jos A Bank, Brooks Brothers, J Crew, I have had their suits for 10(!!) years and never had this issue. And if I did have an issue and went to a store, knowing those companies they would at least try to make me happy, offer a deep discount on a new suit, do ANYTHING. I was/am a dissatisfied customer and the lack of any empathy or effort is honestly shocking for a company in this competitive environment. There are lots of options, Indochino offers nothing unique at this point, so just shop elsewhere with better customer service. read more

I ordered my suit and paid in full on 3/27/19. I waited 3 1/2 weeks for the suit to come in. It did not fit well so I took it back for alterations. I was told that it'll take 2 weeks for the alterations. This was longer than most custom suit places that I've done business with but I was ok with the wait. I waited 2 weeks and did not hear back. I decided to call in to the store and was told that it was not ready yet. At this time....It's been 5 weeks since I've paid in full for my suit. I was asked to give it another week, so I did. I came in one week later and the suit still did not fit correctly. The sales rep said that he will have my entire suit re-made and rushed it out to me in 2 weeks.......Once again, I was patient and agreed. I waited two more weeks to get an email from IndoChino that my there was an issue with my shipment at custom. Keep in mind that the measurements are done in-store but the suits are made in China. This has been the longest and most in-efficient process I've ever dealt with to get a suit. I don't plan on using your company ever again nor recommend IndoChino to anyone that I know. I One of my friends that's getting married soon was going to select IndoChino for his custom suits and 8 of the groomsmen but I did not recommend and told him about my experience. We decided to try Indochino based on a coworker recommendation. I'll mention this one more time- the fiance isn't into fashion. So he doesn't know what cut or feel is going to make him feel like a million bucks on our wedding day. We walked in and NO ONE greeted us, we had to walk up to some kid sitting at the computer who didn't even stand as he asked what we were looking for. I explained we were looking for a custom suit for the wedding and wanted to see options. He decided to man-splain custom suits to me; referring to the mannequin and said everything is custom so we'd just have to pick what we want when we were ready to pay, with no actual reference to what we could customize. Sir- we drove 30 minutes because we knew this was a custom store. You never showed us the custom options. I wanted to see button placement, I wanted to see fit, I wanted to see lapel size... not a single suggestion. You left us mid conversation to go sit back at your computer and ignore us. My future husband will look and feel like a million bucks on his wedding day in a custom suit but we're taking our 2k suit budget to another designer. Jerks. read more

I came in a little over two months before my wedding. I was told it was a bit short timeframe to get the suit in, but they should be able to get it done. My Best Man and I got measured in July with my wedding in September. After a couple of weeks, my suit came in and fit fairly well. It only required minor alterations to make it perfect. However, my Best Man's suit came in completely wrong. The pants were too tight and short and the jacked needed some major altering. When he came back in for the alterations, instead of making new pants, they tried to alter the ones he was provided even though they had little cloth to work with. When the second alterations came in, the pants were even worse. He couldn't even get them on! At this point, he had to order a new pair of pants with two weeks to go before my wedding. I called customer service and they promised to try and get the pants expedited for the wedding. Days passed and no updates from Indochino. Eventually, I called them again and found out that the pants had not yet been started for alterations - there was no way to get them before the wedding! My Best Man's fiance went to Macy's and found the closest matching pair of pants she could find for the wedding. Luckily, you can't see much of a difference. His pants arrived a couple weeks later... still did not fit. We stopped bothering with trying to get them fixed since they wouldn't have made the wedding if we had 3+ lead time before the wedding. I'm through with Indochino. There are issues with the measuring in Houston and customer service is non-existent. A waste of money as a present for my Best Man. read more

Made an appointment with Ashly, the store manager, as she was recommended by a friend. Showed up early, sat for about 30 minutes past my appointment time without even so much as being acknowledged by staff. Finally, another staffer came and took my measurements. When he entered the sizes into the order form, apparently he transposed two numbers, and the pants arrived comically small, like wouldn't even go past my knees small. When told of what happened, the manager told me they would have to re-order, as well as re-measure. So I went through that whole process again. Since I wanted the suit for a couple upcoming weddings, I asked if she could rush it. She said she would ask, but probably not. So, THEIR error, and they didn't even attempt to make it right on time. 4/5 weeks later, I get the suit (too late for the weddings), and get it altered. This was on Jun 12. My alterations (just alterations, not actually MAKING the suit) weren't ready until JULY 19TH. It took longer to alter the suit than to make it. When I finally picked up the completed suit, someone apologized to me for the first time. If you are deadset on using Indochino for your wedding or whatever, I suggest you give PLENTY of lead time, to account for their errors. But I would highly look into other options. read more

I've wanted a custom tailored suit for years, and Indochino is a great way to enter those waters. I scheduled an appt online, arrived at the store, and within fifteen minutes was getting measured by Anthony Kyle Gee, "style enthusiast". A few weeks later, I had a made-to-measure suit to try on. The jacket fit better than any I've ever had before, shoulders and sleeves and waist were all near perfect. The pants needed to be let out a bit, but Indochino did that work for free. My measurements are updated to reflect the work, and stored online for easy ordering next time. One other note: the free monogramming is rad. I'll be ordering more from Indochino for sure! read more

Always take 3 or 4 trips to the store when you final get an appointment. For the price they charge for a suit, the quality of the measurements and alterations should be much better. I really wanted this to work. I think the business model is intriguing, the styles and selections on point, and the pricing reasonable. Sadly after a remake, five rounds of alterations, seven trips to the store, and my wife having to instruct the staff (which included, I was informed, "The best tailor in Houston") what to alter to fit the jacket to me, I accepted the garmet, not because I am satisfied, but because I am tired of debating how a jacket should properly fit. You can buy highly customized dress shirts, tailoring included for less than you normally buy off the rack dress shirts at other stores. Pretty much of a disaster.My two kids and I ordered suits for a wedding. The first time the kids suits were returned they were actually a different fabric and color than had been displayed and ordered. The galleria store had the nerve to first contest my assertion that the fabrics were different and the color was different but when confronted with photographic evidence ultimately relented and remade the suits. Even then the suits did not fit well and required additional adjustments. I had my suit measured by in the Indochino in New York as I was there at the time and so I don't blame the Houston branch entirely. But my suit was measured for someone who weighs about 30 pounds less than I do and did not come close to fitting. It had to be remade, although fortunately they did not give me a hard time and acknowledged that they screwed up the measuring. All of this might be better if I thought the suits were really high-quality. But they are not. They are average quality suits. They are essentially selling a service business that purports to measure properly, but it is not clear to me that they excel at this. The only reason I'm giving this two stars rather than one is that one of the salesman at the Houston store was at least apologetic about the miss fitting original suit and was helpful in getting it fixed prior to the wedding. Two other people who used Indo Chino for the wedding also had similarly bad experiences. One had a suit grossly mismeasured in Dallas. Another store in Brooklyn just lost the persons suit, although ultimately they found it.I am speculating but it seems to me that the store may have grown faster due to extensive podcast advertising then it's management knows how to handle. Multiple dates were promised, they didn't deliver and after being at the shop 4 times, still no suits. The excuse of "made to measure takes longer" seems to get old after the 8th week.....I guess it's also the customers problem if they are unable to retain tailors. Hmm, a made to measure shop that has issues with tailors, isn't that suppose to be the core of the business? Also, having untrained sales people measuring is not the smartest idea, but since they dont have tailors what can you expect. Maybe I am a one off, but what a terrible experience it has been. Terrible service, walked in at 8:05 there was one customer in the store and two sales workers. Business was obviously pretty slow. I asked if I could be measured for a suit and I was told by the lazy sales guy that it would take too long because they closed at 9. Worst customer service ever. I ordered a suit Just a little over 6 weeks before my event, had it "fitted" 2 times. Seems like every-time something got smaller. I asked for the shoulder pads to be taken out the 2nd time, I asked for the crotch area to be lower (very tight) I couldn't even lift my arm up without feeling my jacket was going to rip. I was told after the 1st "remake" they would have to start from scratch to make the suit because they needed to add fabric, but I received the same suit the 2nd time around with everything still the same. they don't offer refunds because the suit is "custom fit" though it doesn't fit it's small they would have to throw that away to make me another one. Why waste your time when you could just give me my money back and I can go spend the $500 somewhere else. So confused. read more

I've purchased online twice, each during sale events: a suit + pants, and then a set of three pairs of pants. The measurement steps are very straightforward. I thought that the prices were reasonable. The products look and feel professional. If the product doesn't fit well or needs modifications they will send you a new one after you tell them what needs to be changed. They sent me a free FedEx return label for items to be returned. Customer service over the phone is fantastic. They are very courteous and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Indochino. read more

Let me start by saying I never leave reviews on companies. However, I felt the need to after our experience with Indochino. We visited the Galleria to place an order for our groomsmen's vests. We wanted simple brown vests on the outside. We allowed the groomsmen to choose their inner lining to reflect their personalities. The very nice floor person put our notes in the system and told us any groomsman could walk into an Indochino at any location and give their name and measurements to place an order for our specified vests. Our groomsmen visited the Atlanta, Austin and Houston locations. At the Austin location, a floor person told my groomsman he could not order a vest due to his measurements. They turned him away, which I find absurd considering this is a custom measurement company. Once we called and solved that problem, all of the groomsmen's vests had been ordered. As they arrived by mail, some were the correct vest we specified. Some of my groomsmen received vests with their inner linings on the back of the vest. The front of the vests were great, the backs had kangaroos.. clouds.. skulls.. Imagine those wedding photos. The company replaced our order after we had to call again. They were now to arrive corrected 3 days before our wedding. Here we are 3 days before our wedding. One of my groomsmen just received his vest by mail - brown on the front and shiny 70's swirls on the back. Our wedding is in 3 days. There's no time to correct anything anymore. We still have not received my groom's vest. We are so frustrated and saddened at the thought of our wedding photos that we spent a fortune on. No one will match. We only ordered vests. No jackets, pants.. I can't imagine the nightmare we would've had if we had ordered full piece suits. I'm embarrassed for this company. We expect and deserve our money back. Since I can't reply to Chris T. On my previous post, I figured I would write another review as a reply. Chris T. With Indochino, there are multiple things I would rather do other than have any other discussion or interaction with Indochino, your horrible customer service or your products in general. This includes: 1. Colonoscopy 2. Drag nails on a chalkboard consistently 3. Proactively lose my driver's license in order to go to the local DMV. At this point, I would rather go to a second hand garment store on Harwin street, buy some material, then go to a sears store that had not closed yet- they are all supposed to be closing soon- and buy an 1800 singers sewing machine, quit my job so I can spend endless nights at my house with the hopes that I create a better suit and experience than I had with Indochino. That is how much I dislike my experience with Houston Indochino. Your team has replied to the multiple complaints you received on yelp going back many years and you still have the same issues: you staff is not well trained for customer suiting, your customer service experience sucks and the final product is significantly and consistently underwhelming. read more

Their product is pretty good, I got a very nice suit at a fair price. However, turnaround time on alterations is unacceptable. I ordered some pants and was quoted two and a half weeks for alterations. If you need your suit in the next couple of months, I would look elsewhere. They need to hire another tailor or two, or I'm sure they'll be losing more business in the future because of this issue. read more

This business is garbage. I've been buying suits for a long time, and thought this company would be able to provide quality fittings and great suit material. It took them 4 months and 6 in person fittings to get a suit that fit properly. The final product was a poor quality fabric suit. Very dissatisfied. read more
