Good service and thats about it. Extremely overcooked seafood and Coconut Rice Plate (25$) was half filled with bagged tapioca chips.

My husband and I celebrated his birthday at this restaurant on yesterday. We drive by this…read morerestaurant often because it's in a plaza that we visit on a regular basis. When we walked in on yesterday evening, we were immediately greeted and told that we could seat ourselves and we would be helped shortly. A woman came by our table with menus and told us about what we could order from the bar. I was completely sold when she told me she had an alcoholic drink that included Boba, which was called Boba on the Beach. It was really good. We looked over the menu which had a nice variety of Asian fusion type dishes. We placed our order and it didn't take too long for us to get our food. Everything was flavorful. The service was good so I'm sure we'll be back to this restaurant soon.

Last weekend me and a few friends went to check out Glass Panda Asian Street Food for my birthday…read more Here's how my experience started. From first look this place looks pretty cool from the outside to the inside. The pictures and painted walls were esthetically pleasing. I could see many people taking photos all around that place. Even the bathroom had a cool Panda picture on it. We were also informed by staff that there is a lot more to be done there. Of course we ordered tons of food but I will only be speaking on what I ate there. Let's start with the Korean Corndogs. I got one regular and the other one covered in blue Takis. The regular one was good, hot, and crunchy. They don't really look like traditional Korean Corndogs so visually they don't look good at all I would definitely recommend them do it the traditional way if possible. However the way they stack it is great. How most K-Dogs are done you have the cheese at the top and the hotdog at the bottom. Here they do cheese meat cheese meat like a kabob and to me that's how all K-dogs should be. I definitely preferred the original one over the Taki one. The OG gets an 8/10 and the Taki one a 7/10. The scores would be higher for both but I knocked a point for the presentation and the Taki one didn't taste like Taki at all and in my opinion I would have used hot cheetos instead. I also tried the Korean Fried Chicken nuggets and those were really good. The flavor was there and so was the crunch and that juicy chicken. Highly recommend these (they also have regular KFC drumstix/legs). 8.5/10 Next up the Bulgogi Bao. The buns were super soft like pillows which was a great start. The meat itself was good but could have been just a bit more tender. When you eat bulgogi beef it should nearly melt in your mouth. With that said whatever the sauce that was used was a bit salty but not inedible. I also would have preferred a cold slaw in there besides lettuce to help cut the salt with the sauce. That sweetness of the slaw would have made a huge difference. 6.8/10 Everything else that was ordered according to my friends was well received and we all left with empty plates and only 1 Togo box. Final thoughts: I will definitely come back here to eat again no question. I would love to see takoyaki added to the menu as well as some street food dessert items I could name a few. But this place was great. The staff was awesome and took time out to speak with us and gave great back story about the restaurant as well as some great recommendations. The drink menu is awesome to with lots to choose from, from milk tea all the way to alcohol. Service alone was 10/10 great staff. Decor was 9.5/10. If you have not been here yet please go check this place out. I'm already ready to go back!

Umami muddies the waters a bit by calling what they do "Pacific rim cuisine," which is an attempt…read moreto reconcile a pan-asian menu that would seem, under other circumstances, inauthentic to a specific region. It is simultaneously Korean, Japanese, Thai, and whatever else it needs to be. Under different circumstances that would raise alarm bells in my head, that this is maybe some rough butchering of multiple ethnic regions in an Alabama backwater. But the good news is that the atmosphere is pleasant, the food is tasty and well-presented, and there is an appreciation of many ingredients that is thoughtful and knowledgeable. The takoyaki, for instance, is a really fun textural experience, covered in what appears to be a remoulade and a dusting of bonito flakes. The end result is tangy and savory and rich, giving you a hint of the ocean even as you take a bite of what is, by other appearances, something akin to a hushpuppy. This trend of thoughtful compromises seems to hold true across the menu, where nothing is precisely what you'd at a restaurant catered to a single region's cuisine, but none of it is simply tossed out as an afterthought. I do wish that the sushi menu had more traditional fare on it -- you can get a number of fancier rolls that feature cream cheese and frying and all that sort of new-fangled American trappings, but no salmon. And the only tuna roll offered is a spicy tuna. But it's still possible to get simple, clean flavors from it, even if it does not have all the offerings from a traditional sushi bar. TVs on the wall seem dedicated to a whole host of different programming. One of them seems to constantly be showing pets, another niche sporting events like strongman competitions, and another seems to mostly be kpop videos. So if you absolutely have to watch football, you may have to go to Moe's a few doors down. For everyone else: there's a lot to like here.

Overall, this is a decent spot and I would return, though it's nothing "to write home about".
