She is innovative, patient and engaging with our kids - making the dentist a fun place to be! She posts lots of useful information, tips and tricks to help parents help their kids! One example was a video in how to make brushing fun for kids ... by pretending there are animals in their mouths! I completely trust Dr. Juntgen to take care of my kids smiles!

As the son of a dentist I have found the quality of care to be top notch and I trust Dr. Juntgen to care for my kids oral health. The waiting room is clean and modern and kids are entertained through movies that play in one corner. One of the practices I really appreciate occurs at the end of each office visit. Dr. Juntgen and her staff provide a consultation that summarizes the visit and point out areas to watch and tips to help the kids keep their gums and teeth healthy. These meetings involve the kids so they can hear first-hand how to take care of themselves and see the images that reveal the health of their teeth and gums on a computer monitor.

The staff is always nice and you do not have to wait long to be seen. It was my first time taking my 1 year old to the dentist, so the experience was new for me. You go into a closed room that has a little play area since my child was too small to sit in one of the dental chairs. The hygienist and doctor see you in the room (much like at a pediatrician's office). For my older child, she goes routinely twice a year. The decoration in the office is all Disney and for my daughter, I can tell it helps her remain calm. The hygienist is very patient when cleaning her teeth and I give so much kudos for the amount of patience they have for kids. I feel like I'm the one who is the most nervous even though it's just a routine cleaning. Dr. Sanders is friendly and it's just a great experience overall. Highly recommend!

unfortunately, we did not have the same experience that so many have had. We chose this facility…read morebecause of the great reviews and had 2-3 visits that were wonderful. However, when it came to my girls being scared, all of the niceties left. I work in pediatrics and understand the time it can take and that it can be frustrating at times, but that's the job. Kids are experiencing everything for the first time, and how it goes (especially in medicine) MATTERS. It is awful when a child fears me because of past experiences that didn't have to go poorly. My daughters were treated horribly at a time when they needed to know their doctors were a safe space. For a simple enamel coating, they could have brought us back to hold their hands and ease them through the process so that further medical procedures would be handled better. However, that did not happen. They were the last patients, and that extra time should have been afforded to a 6 and 7-year-old so they didn't fear the dentist. My husband was told a quick "...they wouldn't sit you can do nitrous next time." First problem, is your suggestion should not be to drug a child for a procedure that should not need it and put extra costs on the parents. Second, why did you not come get us? we were right there!!!! Now, I can't even get my daughters to go into a dental office without them sobbing and saying, "I don't want to be held down." A child should never be held down to receive care unless ABSOLUTELY necessary. Enamel coating does not fall under that necessity. A parent should have 1000% been involved to help mitigate the situation As a parent who trusted a facility to take my children for dental procedures alone, I cannot express how betrayed I feel. This has caused medical trauma and is now affecting our ability to get appropriate care for my daughters because of the lack of respect and empathy exemplified by this office. This is not solely on the doctor, but the assistants around him as well. You need to be better. Two children are struggling now at not only the dentist but other offices because of the care they received here.

The staff is very friendly, the place seems clean. However early in our journey here they attempted…read moreto do an xray on my baby's teeth and really gave up because she was nervous. This was early and post fall. I complained her teeth didn't look smooth, like surface chip or enamel issue. I wasn't given anything to help her enamel and I later learned there are things to help if the child's enamel isn't showing up as it should. At that time she was not drinking juice at all, never had any dyes in her drinks. The front teeth continue to be a concern and I just feel unheard. Additionally I do not like where for treatments kids are separated from their parents... KIDS. It makes me uncomfortable and like I can't protect my child.
