Thanks to a delicious fudge covered cookie I was quickly made keenly aware that my teeth could no longer be ignored. Dr. Kruse is an absolute saint. I had a NASTY cavity (first in my life). This crew took excellent care of me. Due to my childhood issues, I was a nervous wreck and I'm sure one of the worst patients they've ever had. Fidgety, clenching, and just being a giant baby. I'm not kidding at all... I felt ZERO pain and still acted as though I did. (4 numbing shots and I felt none of them) They did their work, despite my childish behavior, and I feel 5 years younger. (Left there about 7 hours ago) I'd highly recommend Dr. Kruse to anyone. Friend or foe, it doesn't matter. This fella doesn't want you to hurt. I truly believe he just wants to make your teeth be all that they can be. They also have the coolest laser scan tool that I found endlessly fascinating. Dr. Kruse was kind enough to explain that to me as well. I have another appointment in about 10 days for my permanent crown and I'm actually looking forward to it. Deep cleaning is scheduled for June.

I have never received any documents showing I have a balance due. My recommendation is not to use this dental practice as they seem to be more interested in making money, then helping people and our community!

Before the appointment, I spoke with the doctor about modifying one of the procedures to better accommodate my son's needs. She was incredibly understanding and assured me that they could absolutely make that adjustment. Unfortunately, the first hygienist was unable to complete the procedure, and another hygienist made me feel as though the accommodation I was requesting was unreasonable and that I was causing my son unnecessary stress. As his mother, I know my child's needs, triggers, and limitations better than anyone, so those comments felt dismissive and insulting. Thankfully, Kacey stepped in. She had worked with my son before and immediately approached the situation with patience, compassion, and understanding. She took the time to meet him where he was, handled him with such care, and successfully completed the procedure without adding to his anxiety. Most importantly, she treated both my son and me with respect. As a parent of a child with special needs, finding healthcare professionals who are willing to listen, adapt, and provide individualized care means everything. Kacey truly went above and beyond, and I am so grateful for her kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help when we needed it most. My son had his first procedure today with laughing gas (small cavity and some sealants to protect others). He's dual ADHD, anxiety, major sensory issues, etc and was super scared. Started crying and she immediately calmed him, walked him through every step with lots of encouragement, & when he had episodes of gagging (due to the sensory), she did Amazing! Gave him short breaks and talked him thru it and breathing in and out calmly. It made this whole process so much easier and turned a scary thing into a positive experience for him. I have been terrified of the dentist for decades and my husband finally talked me into getting my…read morewisdom teeth out and fix a few problem teeth. I cried during my consultation and the nurse was so sweet calming me down and telling me I wouldn't experience anything. I opted for IV sedation because of my high anxiety and fear. I showed up the morning of my appt and was escorted into the surgery room. The nurse started me on nitrous to help calm me down a little since I started crying. Then Dr. Kelly came in and started asking me if I was okay and if I needed a hug. How sweet right? Then he asked if I wanted to hear any music and he put on Ariana Grande for me to help calm my nerves, before too long he had put the IV in and I was out. The IV was the only little prick I felt then entire time. Needless to say that if you ever need dental surgery work go see Dr. Kelly and his amazing nurses. I am no longer scared and I felt like the whole office is so caring and nice. Thank you Dr. Kelly for helping me realize that not all dentists are scary! You rock!!
