I absolutely appreciated the phone call that someone canceled. Dr. Nam was extremely personable, with a relaxed but educational demeanor. As someone who isn't a fan of the density, I appreciated the offering of music or Netflix as a distraction method from the procedure. One thing that was different than my previous dentist is that Dr. Nam didn't do my actual filling. She administered the numbing agents and then another person came in, placed and set the filling, and then Dr. Nam checked this. In my other experiences, the dentist always did the full procedure, so this struck me as slightly odd. Other than that, office is clean, staff is friendly, and both appointments took me nearly on time (within a 5-10 minute window) which I think is pretty good!

However, after the final implants were installed in the spring of 2025, things went downhill fast. Whenever we'd have a question or concern and would reach out, it would be like pulling teeth (no pun intended) to get a reply back. Fast forward to today. My wife heard a pop while eating yesterday and the bridge became loose. We go to have it checked out. They said one of her screws broke and tried their best to work on it. The dentist who worked on her couldn't do much to fix it, because he's new to implants and wanted Dr Stratman to take a look at it first. And we find out he's semi retired, be still comes in from time to time. So the receptionist reaches out to Dr Stratman to see her the next time he's there and he said he doesn't want to see her. And the other dentist doesn't feel comfortable to do it. So they refer us to a different place, but we don't know if any kind of warranty or follow up applies to that place. They pretty much left us to the wolves after we paid $30,000 for these implants. But it seems like since they have their money, they don't care at all. My wife is afraid to eat while there's a screw missing. They filled the holes with a temporary foam, but that seems pointless since they just abandoned us. So beware coming there. They'll take your money and will do the initial work. But if you had any follow up, you're S.O.L.

I had…read morea permanent crown done by him about 2 years ago that came off recently when I was eating a hard candy, and Dr. Pease completely took care of replacement with a fully new crown very quickly, even though I'm not a current patient of his! I put my original appointment in my calendar incorrectly and they even got me rescheduled within the week. The whole staff is very kind and accommodating, and Dr. Pease has a great bedside manner. I would definitely still be with Dr. Pease if he were in my current network, and I highly recommend his office!

Be aware, they charge more for below average dental work, just because they can…read more My husband works for Colgate, meaning our insurance is top tier for dental coverage (everything is normally 100% covered). They charge a much higher rate than other dentists and I'd suggest just going to another dentist (I've found great care at Waterfront Family Dentist in Geist, everything has been covered under our insurance). The service care was below average and they did a terrible job at the X-Rays, having to get them re-done at another dental provider, even after sending them the ones this establishment took and sending it to them. I would never recommend this place to anyone and I'm just trying to warn others. This is my personal experience and others may find this place great. The first one was fine (female dentist 1), the second visit with male dentist was "hard sell city" with a lot of "if you don't do this now, the consequences will be dire...and oh, by the way, we're having a seminar in a couple of days about this exact thing, so if you go to that, we'll knock a couple hundred bucks off". I may have been born at night, but it wasn't last night; I switched dentists and have been happy since. My spouse went in, saw female dentist 1 the first time, everything was great, but female dentist 2 gave her the hard sell about crown replacements (they said 15 needed to be done NOW!). My spouse got a second opinion and the verdict was "3 needed work soon, the rest can be monitored and we'll handle them if/when need be." I guess you have to pay for that North Meridian address rent somehow, but I just want an honest dentist and NOT a car salesman. Also, do NOT even attempt to discuss anything with the billing department...there was a balance of $4.27 (yes, you read that right, four dollars and twenty-seven cents...there was always a couple of bucks that insurance didn't cover that we paid, this was typical and was taken care at the next appointment) that was left over from our previous dentist (he did abruptly retire) that was from my spouse's last appointment with him; they hounded ME like a debt collector for $4.27...and I hadn't even been there AND they wouldn't even give me an invoice or say what it was for. If you can, I'd avoid.

I have been very impressed with Dr. Ahlbrecht and his team (notably, his receptionist Gwen). Dr. Ahlbrecht took a lot of time at my first appointment to really get to know me and my teeth. After years of having my gums bleed (I have always taken care of my teeth properly and gone to the dentist twice a year to have my teeth cleaned) and being told that there's nothing I can do to fix it, I went back for a periodontal cleaning at Dr. Ahlbrecht's office, which helped my gum bleeding problem stop! As a young professional, this experience was one of my first off of my parent's insurance plan and on my own. Gwen not only created a welcoming, friendly atmosphere in the office, but she and her colleagues were more than happy to help me figure out my insurance and what the cost of everything was going to be. They were really understanding and very supportive and I'm so appreciative of that!
