Dr. Kwon should be embarrassed to have sold out this amazing practice to an investment company. To be replaced by dentists who barely can speak english. They owe me money, and the office staff is rude and unprofessional and have been the least helpful. A rock could truly absorb and understand more than what their brain can handle. I reached out to the AG's office who cannot do anything because the amount they owe is smaller than what they handle. They know what they are doing to rip their patients off and provide suggested services that are not required. I was excited to use this company and was sorely disappointed in their customer service. The customer service/patient coordinator refuses to meet people where they need to be as far as scheduling is concerned and make things difficult to navigate. I was flabbergasted at the refusal to work with me in scheduling a new patient appointment. They are in my network and it was so upsetting that I am now scheduled with an out of network office due to the willingness of the new office I chose to work with me in scheduling. read more

The initial visit was great. When I needed something major done, the "bed side manner" was less than desirable. There was no explanation regarding the steps to the procedure, the dental assistant forced something into my mouth without asking me to open it, and I wasn't given instructions on what to do going forward until the next visit. Please take the time with each and every patient to explain what is going on and what they can expect. read more

I was a patient for probably close to 15 years but I could take some of their practices any longer. There were so many times that they did not provide any notification on when procedures were going to be billed or if you had used up your yearly max and everything would be out of pocket going forward. So many times they would wait until I was in the chair and then hand me a $5k bill. I could have made arraignments and moved money around had I got some advanced notice that I was going to be billed that much. That certainly was not the first time, but it did become the last time. I will be looking for a new dentist, so if your practice takes Delta Dental and you are looking for patients, hit me up. read more

First impressions from the reviews is wow this place seems legit especially since I have a fear due to some bad pat experiences. So you do have to confirm your appointment a few times through texts or emails which ever you prefer due to Covid-19. When you arrive you call and wait in your car. I have to say this is the best experience I e had with a dentist, like I said I have anxiety when it comes to dentist and they made it very nice and easy for me. They do have options like nitrous and knocking you out, I took the nitrous and it helped. They doctors and stay are so friendly and they try to make the experience as good has they can. Worth going here for sure if you need a dentist. Wonderful! I have very intense anxiety about the dentist and came here due to the positive Yelp reviews. I was fortunate! Dr. Kwon was very nice. He seemed a bit busy but I informed the staff and him that I get anxious about the dentist so he made sure to fully answer all my questions. I expressed how unhappy I was about my teeth darkening due to coffee, so he buffed my teeth up and got them cleaned all up! I had two cavities and when I went back to get them filled, the doctor was really great about it - and he noticed that a filling in the front tooth fell out so he fixed that, too! The dental hygienist I had was excellent as well. Very kind and reassuring, even when I got down on myself about getting cavities. She was quick to explain everything as well. On top of it all, the doctor noticed something wrong in the X-Rays and that my former dentist did a botched job on a root canal and I had an infection in my jawbone! I hate the dentist!! Or DID... I am from out of town and had a dental emergency, so you can imagine I was anxious. I searched yelp and found Traders Point and hoped for the best. Thankful I did because they are so welcoming. It started with the women at the front desk who saw me in my car and called me in, they spoke to me by name without having to ask me who I was and thoroughly explained all paperwork (very little) that had to be completed. I was greeted by a dental assistant (I forgot her name but I will add it when I visit again) who was even more welcoming and handled all xrays so smoothly. It turned out I needed more work than expected and I was informed of several ways to get things started. **They also pulled my wisdom teeth which I had been told couldn't be pulled without being put under and having complete oral surgery. They offered great options for my high anxiety and Dr. Sang was amazing when it came to anesthetic, which is my biggest trigger. They were sure to keep me as comfortable as possible, thoroughly explained everything, and all though it was not necessary, they offered a complete payment plan and many options for treatment payment and appointments. I will be traveling to keep up with my dental work and cleaning here. I have changed my mind about the dentist and am so appreciative! read more

I do NOT like going to the dentist. I've never had a cavity or needed a root canal, and typically get a pretty good report, but there's just something about going to the dentist that makes my skin crawl. That said, Dr. Kwon and Traders Point Dental make my twice yearly teeth cleaning visits as pleasant as I could hope for. Some dentists try to make extra money by pointing out tiny spots on your xrays, calling them cavities, and scheduling you for multiple visits to fill them. Dr. Kwon is the opposite - he tailors his treatment plan to your specific needs, noting each time which teeth to watch and which teeth need immediate attention. He's never in a hurry to order excessive tests or perform unnecessary procedures. He also makes it a point to remember and ask about my job, my family, and my life. Hannah is the absolute best dental hygienist I've ever had the pleasure to spend time with. She is kind, thoughtful, and is the only person who has never made my gums hurt during a cleaning. She also gently offers advice for how to get the most out of my tooth-brushing experience. Everyone here--from the doctors to the hygienists to the reception team--goes above and beyond to make your experience a good one. I first visited Traders Point Dental years ago to get a second opinion on some recommended dental work and never went back to my original dentist. I especially appreciate that Dr Kwon makes the time to explain procedures personally. (My previous dentist tended to delegate explanations to his dental hygienist, which is fair enough, but some things you really want to hear straight from your doctor.) Until I visited TPD, I'd never had a dentist call me at home after a procedure to make sure I was doing ok, but it's both thoughtful and appreciated. I'm kind of a high-maintenance dental patient and have had a bunch of work over the years (seriously... if I turn up dead somewhere, I'll be super easy to identify from dental records), and I've never had a bad experience here. After a lengthy search for a new dentist I decided on Dr. Sang Kwon at Traders Point. I have to say that I am so happy that I decided to use him as my new dentist. I am not a fan of the dentist, but it's something we have to do. Every staff person is so helpful and nice. Dr. Sang Kwon is such a calming person and really breaks down everything he is doing-which is great for someone like me who gets a little nervous. He always gives you options and never makes you feel like you have to go with the most high priced option on the market. The office and dental area are really nice and relaxing. Each exam room has a tv at the front of the chair and overhead as they are doing work. They will always ask if there is a specific channel you would like it changed to. I really am so happy that I have found my new in town dentist. read more

First call to book they sent me an appointment that didn't include a cleaning because it was at 4:40 p.m. instead of 4:30 p.m. and the cleaning is 90 minutes so I got a second call immediately after that I had to move the appointment a week out in the middle of my work day and take off work to be seen here any time in the next two months. We got a huge snow storm and they texted me the morning of that my appointment had been canceled. The next day I got a call at 3pm saying my only available options were 1:00 p.m. the next day (which I can't do with less than 24 hours notice as I work) or they could just keep me on a list for future cancellations because they're booked months out. I was told there were no appointments available for several months even if I were to take time off in the middle of my work day, and being placed on a short notice cancellation list would yeild the same result: i'd need more than a day's notice to take off enough time to get to and return home from a 90 minute appointment... duh. Instead, I was given the options of 1pm tomorrow (thursday) with about 20 hours notice or several months from now. They should just tell people they're too busy to take on new patients when you call if this is how they're going to treat you. They're the ones that canceled on me and then they don't have a reasonable reschedule policy? they can't stay late or open early or have a Saturday to make up for all of the people that they had to cancel on to make sure they're seen inside the next 4 months? I don't appreciate feeling like I should be punished as a patient because I have a full-time job. Do better. You can't blame covid for everything... It's been a year and we're all affected just like you. PS: I'm sure you're creating a great environment for your employees by being so defensive of them but the person I spoke with today had such a bad attitude in her voice when I told her it's unreasonable to expect someone who works to be able to take off 90 minutes from the middle of their work day at one specific time with less than 24 hours notice... I have had a life-long battle with anxiety about dentists and dental care. As a result, I have avoided going to a dental office for years (don't follow my example there!) When I had an urgent issue this week, I decided it was time to find a primary care dentist where I would be able to overcome that anxiety and commit to a better regimen of dental care. I have definitely found that with Trader's Point Dental and Dr. Kwon! From my first contact with the office (Jessica, who made scheduling and new patient registration quick and easy), the staff was very reassuring and welcoming. My tech Mallory was very friendly and worked really hard to make me feel at ease while providing excellent care. Dr. Kwon explained what my issues were and what needed to be done in a way that I could understand, and he again made me feel very comfortable in an environment where I am usually anything but. I really appreciate Dr Kwon and his whole staff for their care not just of my teeth but of my whole person! I've been coming here for 10 years, pretty much since they opened. I can't say enough about Dr. Sang and his friendly staff. I am in and out, no muss no fuss, they are so efficient. It's so clean and nice. I've had 3 crowns done there as well and apart from the terror of getting a crown in general, they've done a fabulous job everytime. Dr. Kwon is one of the best dentists i have been to. He's very down to earth about your treatment plan and doesn't recommend treatment he doesn't feel is needed. The staff is all ridiculously nice. You feel right at home the second you walk in the door even if you've never met anyone in the building. They use the high pressure cleaning system which is quick and painless. I'm sad to say i've had the full gauntlet of dental work here due to my having nothing but terrible dentists in the past so i neglected my teeth. Fillings, crowns, cleaning, everything. very painless. honestly. He takes great measures to ensure you are not feeling discomfort. There are tvs in each room so if you have a long procedure, you have something to do other than think about what's going on in your mouth. Flexible payment plans, and a nice waiting room with complementary internet acess and beverages round out this office. read more

dr. kwon is a wonderful dentist. the staff are really nice and make your visit comfortable. it's a modern office, the waiting area has a computer, tv and fridge stocked with free bottled water, ice tea and juice. each room has two flat screen tvs; one for you to watch when you are sitting up and one on the ceiling when you are laid back. :) the hygienist use high-pressure water for cleanings and it's wonderful. it beats getting scrapped by metal tools AND it seems to cut time on the actual cleaning. you can also get free teeth whitening for life when you become one of their patients, who doesn't love that? :) read more

I am a new patient at Dr. Kwon's office. I made an appointment on February 4. Arrived on time on February 25 and really didn't have to wait. I explained my insurance would not pay for x-rays but was assured that that is a free service that they offer for new patients. The reason I'm giving Dr. Kwon's office a low rating is because after my exam I was to have a cleaning that's the only reason that I came in. I just needed to have my teeth cleaned. I was asked to come back. In all my years I have never been asked by a professional doctor, lawyer, dentist even a nail tech that I made an appointment with to come back another day. I did return that Wednesday for my appointment and did have the cleaning. I understand that the office has been without Hygienist for sometime. My appointment should have been rescheduled . the whole appointment should've been rescheduled. They should've called me in advance. Could we have you in another day. The doctor needs to hire a temporary person if the office is under staffed. I won't be returning. read more

There's not a whole lot that can be said that hasn't been said already about TPD. I hadn't been to the dentist in a very long time and was nothing short of terrified. The folks at TPD put my mind at ease from the start and set me up with the proper procedures for my first visit. When I got in there they walked me through everything that was going to happen before it happened and as it was happening. As I guessed I was going to need some additional work done, but they minimized my fears and knocked out some of the work during my first visit and then the next week. They were friendly yet professional throughout the whole thing and never made me feel bad for my long absence from the dentist. Like many of us, dental work freaks me out. On top of that, finding a dentist that males me feel safe is just as stressful. I felt like a lost cause in fixing my teeth. I'm happy to say that Traders Pointe Dental didn't just fix my teeth, but fixed my confidence. Their services made me feel comfort and wellness. Well, after I regained feeling in my face. I've always had serious seasonal allergies - itchy noise, eyes, throat, and pallette. Yeah, the roof of my mouth itched for 3 months of every year. Horrible feeling. Cough drops were the only thing that gave me comfort. Unfortunately, 20 years of eating sugary cough drops have cause some yucky dental problems. Then I decided to stay in college, with no money or insurance, hence making the problem even worse. Finally, I was married, graduated and fully insured. Now what? Rob referred me to his dentist, saying that they are very good. So I crossed me fingers and made the appointment. Every time I visit their office, I feel very welcomed. The receptionist greets me by name and is genuinely friendly. The waiting room is a small yet modern, 4-seater lounge with two computer hubs and a drink station. Water, soda and Keurig coffee. Wait time is never longer that 10 minutes. The dental assistants are lovely people. They set you up in your room with the TVs on the channel you prefer. Oh, and there's a TV on the ceiling so you can watch something while there is a drill in your face. Good times. Dr. Sang Kwon is always on time with his appointments. He moves fluidly between patients, very down-to-earth guy with a comforting demeanor. He communicates very well and makes sure his patients are as comfortable as possible. My work included fillings, crowns, extractions, including my bottom two wisdom teeth. And I didn't feel pressured into doing something I didn't want to do. The decision is all mine, as it should be. If you have the means, check this dentist out. It is a bit more money, but it is SO WORTH IT. read more

Staff has always been great in the two years we've been coming here. Easy check in - even when our insurance changed this year - no problems getting that sorted out. Maybe my old dentist was cray out of date but it shocked me the first time I leaned back here to have my teeth cleaned and there was a tv on the ceiling for me to watch anything I wanted. This dental practice is top notch! The staff here are extremely friendly and professional. They always make you feel right at home. They offer free wi-fi and beverages in the waiting area and each exam room has a TV on the wall and the ceiling to help distract you during your procedures. After you have any procedures other than a regular cleaning (filling, wisdom teeth extraction, etc), they will call you that evening to make sure you are doing okay and don't have any questions. Dr. Kwon and his hygienist are great! For nearly 6 years, my family and I experienced excellence from Dr. Kwon and the hygienist. However, the office staff, including office manager are condescending and lack cultural awareness. On multiple occasions, we found the office staff to be abrasive and not understanding. I am a firm believer that we (people) have bad days; however, this unfortunate treatment by the office staff occurred on multiple occasions over the last 4 years.
