Run down facility, poorly cared for animals and thoroughly unpleasant staff. Just drive a little further north for better barns

Then we boarded the small boat which only holds 50 passengers. The rooms are small but lovely and the balconies add to the charm. Staff members are committed to making your experience memorable aided by excellent food and wine. This trip is perfect if you need to get away and relax but there are also multiple opportunities to explore the coastal cities and islands. I highly recommend this trip.

Enjoyed trip to Ireland, but in May 2026 it rained almost every day, sometimes down pours and when…read moreit didn't it was mostly overcast. Some local tour guides work right through the rain. When visiting Aran Islands (off coast), local guide walked and talked right through down pour, while most in tour group hurried to find shelter at our restaurant ahead! So be prepared! Highlights of trip: visiting sheep farm (although I wished I had been given opportunity to hold a lamb!); Giant Causeway (basalt natural "sculptures"), Titanic museum in Belfast. On the trip I could feel and hear the tension that persists between the Republican of Ireland and Northern Ireland people (from the "Troubles"). This sensitive situation requires diplomacy and absence of political bias from a tour guide, which I did not always feel, unfortunately. Ireland is a beautiful country and seems to be best known for its golf history, courses and pubs.

If a student ever gets sick, ACIS will have a doctor on the ground to our student asap. If something happens on a trip - security issues, weather issues, etc - there's always a network of people to re-route our group to another enriching experience. Their employees really will bend over backwards to help you navigate the special circle of hell that is the travel industry. As a teacher and group leader, ACIS takes care of all the unpleasantness behind the scenes and lets me focus on the joy of the journey. Happy to endorse ACIS over the competition. The value really is in the staff and their passion. This isn't a cookie-cutter tour company. They want to give you a magical, life-changing experience. Go with ACIS. You won't regret it.

I find this company makes the most of your time and energy so you see and do more than with other options. I have found them accommodating for special food requests and friendly with challenges, such as student personalities or unexpected delays. Their Boston team is super communicative leading to a smooth tour.
