Absolutely disappointed in the Sioux Falls location. I've visited the other location multiple times…read moreand have had nothing but a great experience. What's worse is that I took someone who is new to Indian cuisine with me and their experience was less than stellar. Not exactly the experience I wanted them walking away with. Service was super slow. We were seated and then they forgot about us for over 20 minutes. And not like we were tucked away in a corner. We were front and center by the main area. But, nope. We were apparently invisible. Eventually someone realized we had not been helped and finally took our order. The food was mixed. The vegetable pakoras were decent, and the highlight of the evening. Paneer Tikka Masala was a bust. Plenty of paneer, but the sauce itself was weak and lacked much flavor or depth. The naan was decent. Will try something else if I am very back in Sioux Falls and craving Indian food...

The garlic naan and vegetable pakora were amazing (even better when fresh, but still great), but the customer service can't be beat. That alone will make me a return customer.

We ordered via DoorDash. The food was hot when delivered. I've had vegetable samosas several times…read morefrom other Indian restaurants and unfortunately, these didn't compare. It seemed the dough was homemade but what ruined it for me was the filling was underdone (some hard pieces). While eating the butter chicken, I bit into a large pod (I'm assuming cardamom) but seems there were other things in mixed in as well--it was about the size of a quarter. Also found a hard piece of what appeared to be bone in the chicken. The flavors were excellent, the naan/kulcha were good--but didn't outweigh the other parts of the meal. Unfortunately I won't return.

I was out in the area, and Indians food sounded good, so I figured this place was worth checking out. I was not disappointed. The inside is very clean, with all tables set up with flatware and glasses. I ordered chicken vindaloo and garlic naan, both items came fairly quickly. The naan itself had a great flakiness to it, it reminded me more of pizza crust than a general flatbread. I do feel like the garlic aspect of it was a tad underwhelming, but that may be to your individual taste. The vindaloo was excellent though. It doesn't blow my mind in terms of what I've tried before, it's just a very good take on something I know I enjoy. It's a hit of a trek to the exurbs of Sioux Falls for Kathmandu, but I know for a fact I plan on going back there.

We ordered the veg samosa, chicken momo, mango chicken and garlic naan. The gal was friendly and said the mango chicken comes with naan and clarified we wanted another "order". We said yes. The order took about 15 mins to get and traveled well across town. The momo were the highlight! So good. Glad we ordered extra naan because we only had 2 pieces total -- seems a bit steep to charge $4 for one piece of naan. Our total came to $38. The mango chicken was good as well - but found a couple of coriander pods in it - I guess that means it's homemade! Flavor was great! Samosa was good as well - thick crust and good flavor. The reason I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 is due to the pods and price. Definitely will go back though!

I'm…read moredefinitely spoiled with the Indian food I'm used to with the naan being made fresh in a clay oven. There was 2 big chunks of burnt chicken in my curry and I guess I just assumed it would be saffron rice. I ordered an Indian coke and was given a coke from the gas station instead. I am a diabetic and only purchased the coke because I was told it was made with real sugar and not high fructose corn syrup only to be given exactly that! You can buy a small clay oven to make your naan. Food trucks are meant to be fresh...sorry but I won't be back

In all the many years we lived in Phoenix, despite dining at hundreds of restaurants across the Valley, I can honestly remember us regularly visiting maybe one true bar-and-grill style establishment. Then we moved to Sioux Falls. And suddenly we found ourselves surrounded by them. =) So, we are trying our best to adapt and experience the local dining culture the way the locals enjoy it. We came to Tinner's Public House because a large group of our friends absolutely loves the place and wanted us to join them there one evening. And honestly, because we were surrounded by good company and conversation, I still wound up having an enjoyable night overall. The restaurant itself was busy and lively, with that familiar neighborhood gathering-place atmosphere that many people clearly enjoy. As for the food, however, it unfortunately didn't leave much of an impression on me. The steak I ordered arrived overcooked and drier than I would have liked, the salad lacked that crisp fresh quality I was hoping for, and the clam chowder seemed surprisingly sparse on actual clams. Nothing was outright terrible, but most of the meal landed squarely in the mediocre category for me. The service was okay overall, though nothing especially memorable stood out in either direction. Truthfully, I think the biggest appeal of this place may simply be the atmosphere and sense of community it creates for regulars. Watching our friends interact with the staff and each other, it was obvious this is one of those local gathering spots people return to frequently because it feels comfortable and familiar. For me personally, though, I can't really say the food itself gave me much reason to return independently. Still, I had a genuinely pleasant evening because of the people we were with, and sometimes that matters more than the meal anyway.
