Just your good ol toll plaza. Very clean with really friendly staff! We were here on a Saturday and it was surprisingly not that busy. We decided on Burger King to eat for brunch. The workers were pleasant and the kiosk to get food ordered was easy to use. I never get fast food and was shocked at how well made the food was! read more

Indian Meadow Service Plaza - Saturday morning - Shopping Centers Near Me - West Unity, Ohio

Second time stopping at this plaza. This time I realized they have an overnight RV parking area. A permit is required to park so check in with Ohio to get one. The spots have electric hook-up and a dump station is on site as well as postable water. Two picnic tables are under the trees near the RV overnight lot. An enclosed dog exercise area has water available for your pup. Two types of EV charge stations are in two separate areas in the auto park. Large clean restrooms. Trucker lounge. Starbucks, Sbarro, Burger King, a 7-eleven and Sunoco fuel are the services offered here. Plastic bottle and can recycling bins are just inside the entrances. read more

This puts the rest areas on the NJ turnpike to shame, at least the old ones. Why? It's not overcrowded. It's pretty clean. The lines for food aren't bad at all and it's Saturday in the summer. No wait to use a toilet. 7-11 on premises for snacks and beverages. Lots of vending options. Trucker lounge area A human at a desk if you have questions (I guess I'm old for appreciating that. Worth a stop for sure. One edit: the wait at the gas lines does suck. read more

Although the service plazas on the Ohio Turnpike were updated years ago, they are to be commended for maintaining them as if they were brand-spanking new. There are a number of fast food options to consider with a very large and well kept dining area. The restrooms are large and clean. read more

When I first came here, I thought I was at the Oasis before but I guess this place is a copy and paste exact clone of the rest stop across the street, just different employees. The bathrooms and entire establishment is clean. There's alot of traffic that comes through here. It's a very pricey place though if you're trying to buy something but you must ask yourself if you skip this place if it's worth paying another toll to get back on the main highway if you were to visit a regular cheaper gas station . read more

Very clean and well maintained service center on The Ohio Turnpike. Very large restroom with two separate sides and it was very clean. They have a few food options here too. Ohio is legendary for their truck friendly rest areas and this place is no exception! Free showers, cheap laundry and moderately priced knick knacks and souvenirs. The ones with those amenities are conveniently located on the I-80 corridor, but even the smaller rest stops on the less major highways and interstates are set up for ease of access- even the ones that require semis to parallel park. This is a great state to roll through, due to their truck friendly attitude! read more

Eight and a half hours into the drive home, we stopped here for gas and dinner. Well, the sbarro ran out of pizza and only 2 people were working at Burger King. It took over 10 minutes to get my order that contained stale fries and basically no toppings on my chicken sandwich. At least the place was clean. If I could have made it another 20 miles on fumes, I would have tried. read more

The sabarro was so awful. I wanted a large salad with the two types they offered mixed, one was tomato and cucumber, one was Caesar. Both same price for a large. The girl was going to do it but her homosexual coworker (just pointing that out so hopefully hes identified) stepped in and stopped her. Refusing to mix them in my bowl because they're two different salads even though they're the same price!! Ruined my lunch when he could have done it but just wouldn't because he had that authority. So rude and pointless. read more

Do yourself a huge favor and don't stop here. There was a Sbaro inside (pizza food) but their oven was broken so they were closed. The Burger King had 2 people working, one at the register and one preparing food. There were over 20 people in line. I waited 30 minutes to order. The cashier would pack fries in between orders and handle cups right after handling money. The food was not good. The bag was so greasy like they didn't drain the fries. Terrible. read more

Clean. Wifi. Well lit. Could use better plowing on snowy days but it seems all rest stops have this issue this winter.

Very disappointed !! We ordered a whole pepperoni pizza to go and the center of the pizza had soggy crust. We could not even pick it up. Also we were given 3 paper plates that were instantly worthless after sliding one slice on it due to the pizza being so wet. I can't really blame the one employee that has to make pizzas, take orders and fill them and ring them up at the cash register. My disappointment is aimed at whoever is in charge of this Sborros read more

Overall a clean and nice enough rest stop. The bathrooms are very clean. The Starbucks was awful. "Collin" clearly did not want to be working there and wanted everyone, including the customers to know just how annoyed he was. The whole shebang, complete with eye rolls, an annoyed tone, and a pissed off expression. He is clearly unaware that he is in the service industry or simply just does not care. As someone who used to train people in the service industry, I know it's not that hard put a smile on your face and fake nice even if you don't want to be working. Collin did not care or even pretend to. read more

This is the service plaza that opened on the Ohio Turnpike about 20 miles from the Indiana line. It opened a few months ago so is clean and spiffy. We stopped by the westbound location but there is a sister plaza on the eastbound side across the turnpike. It has a Starbucks, a couple of fast food places (Burger King, I think, and something else), a convenience store, and a desk with maps and brochures. Oh, and a gas station with competitive prices (a rarity on toll roads). For long haulers, a good place to stop, rest, and eat. read more

Very clean! Bathrooms were pristine and fully stocked. Everything is sensored, the only problem with that is the soap dispenser kept dispensing while I was washing my hands. Good choices for food. I went to sbarro, which is kind of hit or miss on these rest stops. This one was good. Decent selection of pizza, salad and other pasta items. They were however out of breadsticks and the wait time was 15+ minutes which is crazy. The dog exercise area was snow covered, it appears they don't maintain it in the winter time so people were just walking their dogs in the parking lot which isn't very safe.. They were in the process of plowing the lot which is a nice change from Indianas rest stops. They have a well stocked gift shop and even a truckers lounge. read more

Indian Meadow Service Plaza - Pet area not maintained in winter time :( - Shopping Centers Near Me - West Unity, Ohio

These service centers should be required on all freeways. Easy on and off. This is right off the freeway. No having to drive down a service road and waiting for lights and getting lost on your way to of from gas station while wasting extra time. This place is like a mini mall. It's crazy. Lots of food options and restrooms in one place. Super fast and easy. Highly recommended. read more

clean restrooms and in general one of the better stops along Ohio highways. The Ohio turnpike as a whole has been getting better. Thanks to the 70mph limit it's now a great place for cross-state travel. Unfortunately the turnpike is only useful for trips along the northern end of the state, IE detroit, toledo or cleveland to pittsburgh. read more

Sbarros inside had horrible service. I had two options. Either meat lovers pizza or spinach Stromboli. I did not want either. Half of the sides were unavailable. I waited a total of 25 minutes from start of line to pay and they burnt my pizza. The Stromboli for my friend was even more burnt. I only saw two people working the whole time we were there. I will not recommend or return. read more

This is my first ever yelp review, and it is not aimed at the travel plaza as a whole, but specifically the Sbarro's. Michael Scott would be ashamed, because this place was really, really bad. read more

We stopped there last week and it is a definite must stop plaza for sure! First plus is they have a Starbucks!!!! Others are that the employees are friendly and inviting at this plaza. They had this customer appreciation event going on when we stopped and it was so neat! I have to say though the best part was the 3 girls and boy working in Starbucks absolutely made my day! I did not like the new drink I tried and wished I had ordered my usual drink. The girl I think was a manager asked what I was going to order and had the one making drinks make it for me for free!! I will definitely make this a regular stop during our trips! read more
