We missed so many shops in Michigan because they wouldn't allow well behaved dogs! Their loss! The owner, Sabrina, is as sweet as her shop! There are SO many wonderful things at reasonable prices and the place is bigger than it looks! It's neat, tidy, and well organized. My only complaint is that it is over 2 hours from where I live! I found a sweet artist print that I took home but had to pass on a furniture piece that we didn't have room for! Don't miss this one if you love antiques, collectibles or home decor!! We will be back again!

I didn't want to spoil the surprise. Anyway, without further ado, my review of Touches of Time Antique Mall: I love antiques! I love anything that's old, any thing that reminds me of the past. My favorite subject growing up was history... still is one of my favorite types of book to read. I just feel like I was born in the wrong time. More over, one of my favorite hobbies is shopping for home decor. I love making my home more beautiful and comfortable. Antique stores, which combine both my love of old things and my love of decor... is one of my favorite types of store to shop in. Touches of Time, is one of the better antique stores I have been to and has become one of my favorite stores in my new home town of Van Wert. I have come several times already. I have bought items for myself including beer steins, antique candle holders, and other items. I bought my friend apple some cute gifts from here, that she loved. I also came here during the 2020 Van Wert Chocolate Walk, which they were involved to giving out free chocolate. This store is just wonderful, it has items of all kinds: Christmas decorations, books, furniture, collectibles, tools, a huge grandfather clock, coins, etc. Come here often because there is always sometime new and interesting here to find. Place is huge, three floors for you to explore! What more can I say about it, except that you need to come check it out!

It look a little used and could use some improvement especially some of the stores. It also lacks some stores you would expect in malls, and some of them are smaller than I am used to. Still, it gets the job done. I was able to get items I needed to buy and avoid paying shipping.

Really mixed feelings in regards to this Walmart. The staff who work here are possibly the nicest,…read morefriendliest, most helpful Walmart employees I have ever dealt with. You ask them for help and they will actually stop what they are doing and direct you where you can find what you are looking for, if they don't know they ask someone or look it up. Very different than in other Walmart's I have been inside in Florida... where you are lucky to find an employee outside a register and they do not help you. Also when you live in an area where it gets really cold... you love the fact Walmart will actually bring your groceries to your vehicle. Nevertheless, I do notice that often when I come in here the store shelves are sparse. For example, I recently came last weekend into the Walmart because I needed to buy a litter box and litter for my cat. There were almost none left and the litter area was also starting to run out. I then tried looking for hard food for my cat, and her brand ,Science Diet, wasn't even sold. It's either that or I just couldn't find it on the shelf. If the shelves were full more often, I would definitely give this place a much higher rating.

First got a message on app says the TV in my order is now out of stock figured ok they will fix this . Called and got the run around . Then was told to come in . Went in and everyone said they couldn't substitute item or get it shipped to my house like it says on the app because it's out of stock . Only option on line was to ship to home but unavailable for shipping pops up . Finally got them to cancel the TV from my order and give me the Nintendo switch, games and controllers from my order. Now got a message saying they have a hold on my account for the 554.31 for up to 10 days so won't have the money back for the TV until after Christmas and kids won't have there present now till that goes back on my card . I shop at Walmart about 4 or 5 times a week but will go else wear for now on

Came here after a total debacle trying to get appliances in Best Buy. Not a large store by any…read moremeans, specializing in appliances and then didn't have many to show either. I was told that I should check out their online selection. I did so and was thinking about purchasing from here but it's hard for me to make a major appliance purchase without either speaking to someone or actually seeing examples to see. Didn't buy from here, but maybe a good place to check out for a good sale in the future?

My mom loves that and it causes me to routinely drive all the way to Fort Wayne to buy it, which is a long drive. So I came in hoping to find a local store that would save me some long trips. I looked around and could not find it, and a helpful store employee helped. After looking he asked his manager who said they didn't carry it. Well... that sucks. Still, the place does have certain things my family buys at a reduced price compared to other stores. This is especially the case for soda/pop. It also has an extensive pie section and sells peach pie my mother has come to love. So all in all, it was worth the trip coming here.

Did an online order for the Van Wert, Ohio store and had a free "same day delivery". It was ordered…read morebefore noon (website says by 2pm for same day delivery). Had not been delivered by 6pm, so I called the store. The lady that I talked to simply told me that it didn't get delivered, and there was nothing she could do, and that it would "probably be delivered tomorrow". I said that I wasn't going to be home tomorrow. She said "no problem they'll leave it on the front porch". I said I don't want it on the front porch, I'd like it in the back of the house. She said the people that deliver don't work for us so there's nothing I can do. I told her that didn't sound like very good customer service to me. She said that she was trying to help me, and that she wasn't going to sit and listen to me if I was going to be nasty to her. I said I'm not being nasty, I just want to get my issue resolved. She hung up on me. Unbelievable! I've never had such a rude experience with a store manager, assistant manager, or whatever her title was. All my business will be directed down the street to Rural King from now on! Update: I called TSC Customer Care and spoke with a very nice representative that was able to send a message to the delivery company and let them know that if they couldn't make the delivery today, where to leave it tomorrow, since the customer wouldn't be home. Not sure why the local store couldn't have done the same, other than she clearly stated that it wasn't her problem and there was nothing she could do. At any rate, about 90 minutes after the above mentioned phone call the delivery showed up at my house. Maybe the store needs some training on how to communicate with their delivery service, as well as their customers??????

Two stars only for the very sweet other employees that helped me out today, or at least did their…read morebest to. Went in to grab some cat food, pine shavings, and a few other things and saw a few chick breeds were on sale. I asked for 2 wyandottes, 3 olive eggers and a leghorn. Thankfully the wyandottes and OE were on sale for the same price (1.25) so it's not money lost or gained, but still very frustrating. The manager (I assume is what she was), screwed em up and gave me one olive egger, 4 wyandottes. Also grabbed an ISA chick instead of a leghorn which I corrected before I even paid. The whole time she was boxing my chicks, she was also barking at people over her headset and outwardly just being super unkind and making for a really chaotic and unpleasant experience. Went to pay and informed the cashier that the chicks were just jumping all over the place and I was worried they were incorrect and I was right. Some nice guy came out and did indeed note that I had the wrong chicks, so he brought them inside. The same woman said replaced them (the manager), and gave me my box back without my leghorn in it. Went back in, got my leghorn, left. She said she grabbed "another black one" as well (to replace the 4th wyandotte for the second olive egger I wanted. Newsflash, olive eggers and wyandottes are the same colors for the most part. Major red flag.). Got home just a bit ago - wouldn't ya know it, I've got one olive egger chick and STILL FOUR WYANDOTTES. At least I've got my leghorn I guess. Absolutely embarrassing experience. I'll stick with rural king from now on.
