I have been to a lot of Indian restaurants but this place is over the top AMAZING. This is the best place I have found in Plattsburgh. I had the curry chicken, medium spice and the homemade cheese stuffed naan. At the end they give you a dish of rice pudding that is the BEST I have ever had. We went for the first time tonight. The food was excellent and very tasty. We ordered off the menu as there is no buffet at night (except Mondays we were told). Visited on the day of the eclipse and our server started off in a bad mood with us even though we were very polite. As someone who has worked in food service I totally understand being overwhelmed by an event in the area, but he continued to ignore us, even when we asked to pay. Had to do it twice because the first time he told my friend to "wait a minute" while he continued his side work. Fifteen minutes later I stood up to go, and he literally looked away from me before I said can we get the check. Didn't want to stay the extra 30 minutes while he continued to ignore us. And the food was nowhere near spicy. I was expecting so much more and I was sorely disappointed. read more

This restaurant was amazing. Stopped by for the lunch buffet. I've never had Indian food before, everything I tried was delicious. Everything on the buffet is mildly spiced so I didn't have to avoid anything. The interior is beautiful, cloth napkins, attentive but unobtrusive wait staff and very friendly. So happy to see a restaurant like this come to Plattsburgh! The taste was wonderful! My daughter likes her Indian food mild and I like mine spicy. Both dishes came exactly how we wanted them! Enormous chunks of chicken and very flavorful curry. It's currently a popular place so there was a line out the door as we were leaving dinner, but the staff is constantly moving and working together to make sure everyone has a good experience. We took our leftovers and had them for breakfast the next day because we couldn't wait until lunch to have it again! read more

A beautiful restaurant with a plentiful menu, delicious food, and skilled waiters! We got the chicken biryani, lamb biryani, bhel puri, and a rose lassi. Everything came out wonderfully and the waiter consistently checked on us. I also asked for a side of onion and they brought out a plate of limes, chili, and onion. Even the dishes were fine China and glassware! While I wasn't a fan of the rose lassi myself, it was also nice to have several lassi options. We will absolutely be coming back soon. read more

I will say the first couple of times I got it, I was not impressed as I found the sauce overly sweet even when I ordered it hot level. However I started ordering desi spicy and it has been absolutely delicious since then. So if you like really spicy, order desi and they will accommodate you! read more

Their spring rolls are great. I wish they had more vegan options and more authentic tasting Indian food.

The wait staff was amazing and professiona. The food was delicious with so many options to chose from. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wanted to try something new. I went to Indian Grill in Plattsburgh for lunch today around 12:30. I had an excellent experience. Very friendly staff, who are quick to give you good quality service. I tried almost every dish on the buffet. I must say I was very impressed by the quality of the food. Every meat was perfectly cooked, tender, moist, (Chicken, Lamb, and Goat! Yum!) . All of the sauces were not too greasy or rich. Spice ratios were very impressive and each dish seemed to be made with attention to detail in terms of taste. After leaving I did not feel sick despite eating as much as I possibly could. I could tell that this food is mostly if not completely made in house. I will be comming back again and will recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes Indian food. I felt good giving these people a 50% tip and will continue to do so as the quality remains consistant. Very happy Indian grill came to Plattsburgh and hoping they are here to stay! read more
