Anticipate a wait after you order, but the meal is very nourishing and rewarding after a long day of snowboarding. We ordered around 5pm for take out, but found out they were backed up by ~30 minutes. Finally got around to getting our order around 7pm. We ordered a decent amount of items to split among a group of 5 people and everything had us licking off every last bit off the plate . PORK MOMO: We ordered 2 servings of these and they gave us a very generous serving size of these. The momos were also very plump with a delicate skin wrapped around it. The sauce it was dredged in was very flavorful. Highly recommend ordering this. GOAT VINDALOO: If you're worried about the goat being gamey, it's not. The goat was very tender. The vindaloo was very well spiced and paired very well with rice and naan. We asked for this to be medium spicy and it was very manageable for our group. LAMB BIRYANI: We ordered lamb, but they gave us chicken. Was not really a fan of this. It seemed like regular fried rice to me. There was a hint of citrus to it which was a plus for me. SAAG PANEER: My favorite! Highly recommend getting this. They gave a generous amount of paneer, all doused in a flavorful and hearty spinach sauce. I literally licked every last drop of this out of the container LOL CHICKEN KADAI: Perfect bites of chicken breast in a tangy sauce. Very worth it as it's the most protein dense of the dishes we ordered. All in all, you can do no wrong by ordering from here. Not sure if it was just an off night, but my husband and I ordered take out (an order of momos, palak paneer, chicken curry, naan, and rice) on 12/23/25 for dinner. The restaurant did not look the cleanest (which should have been our first warning sign) and the attendant wasn't the friendliest (second sign), but with such good reviews we decided to risk it anyways. We thought the food was delicious but after about an hour, we both had some knotting in the stomach and uncomfortableness. I didn't eat the rice, which I believe saved me from the terrible illness that shortly befell my husband. He spent the next ten hours evacuating his system from both ends due to food poisoning consistent with B. Cereus. So, please trust your gut when checking out this restaurant! read more

Food: 4 out of 5. Enjoyed the chicken tikka masala and samosa chole. Value: 5 out of 5: dinner for 2 about $30 Service: it takes a LONG time to get an order. While i waited 75 minutes past the time my order was supposed to be ready, I spoke to several regulars who said tonight was worse than usual but service is slow normally. The workers are all shielded by a wall. Every 10 minutes or so, an order would appear and we would cheer the lucky customer as they exited like someone getting released from prison. You do build camaraderie with people as you wait and the customers were generally friendly and patient. read more

The outside is deceptive of how amazing the food here is. My friend and I went here on a visit to Stowe and we were craving Indian food and I am so glad we stopped here. Although it's a small store, the service was exceptional and the food was delicious. My favorite was the chicken biryani because of how flavorful it was and how tender the chicken was. Great Vegetarian options. Delicious! I got the Dal Makhani and naan. So tasty and hearty! Ordered my meal and got within ten minutes.

Yum, yum, YUM! We had chicken tikka masala, saag paneer, Chana masala, goat vindaloo, samosas and garlic naan. Highly recommend all but the goat. It was mostly bone and extremely greasy. We ordered everything mild and it still had some heat which was fine. If you want no heat, be sure to say NO heat. read more

My 'goto' for delicious food in Stowe. Everything is great with an insane amount of selections. It's only a long wait if a bunch of people from out of town come to Stowe which is normally Fall and Winter. Otherwise expect quick service. This is only a takeout restaurant. If you're visiting during the high season expect long waits at every single restaurant in town. The town was not intended for more than 5k people. read more

I was shocked to discover such high quality Indian/Nepali food in Stowe. The tadka daal was thick and flavorful, the tandoori chicken was tender and juicy, and the aloo bhanta (a nepali dish I had never had before and that is seldom seen on menus) was absolutely delicious. We asked for medium spice, and I think it was the perfect level of spice for me (I have a fairly high tolerance). They are brand new and still ironing out some normal kinks in their order fulfillment process, but I'd urge patience. They are friendly and trying their best. I'm a regular here and am so glad to have this place in Stowe. I took a star away because the service and food are not fully consistent, but they almost always get it right. My favorite grab and go lunch is the chicken tikka masala roll, which is a simply delish dish wrapped in fresh naan bread. The Johl momo (any filling) is amazing, and I haven't had a disappointing main dish. Stopped in for some takeout on our last night in Stowe. To food was very authentic and the flavors were excellent. We ordered a number of different items and all were excellent.
