    Vegetarian dinner delicious

A++ service! Lately, I've been reviewing restaurants based on how safe and seamless their takeout is during this pandemic. If they're being serious about safety now, that's where I want to be eating after the pandemic. I was able to order and pay over the phone. When I picked up my order, someone confirmed my name and order from a distance, then left my food on the table for me to pick up. No stress. No contact at all. Easy!! I was so pleased!! Also the food was jamming. I eat mostly vegetarian, and there were a wide variety of options to choose from. I ended up getting eggplant and chickpeas delicious! Not too spicy if you prefer your food milder. (I think I will ask for more spice next time). The vegetarian plate was $15, that included two veggie options and naan. The portions were big enough that I had plenty of left overs. Also, we didn't order dessert, but they gave us a complimentary brownie with our take out order.

Just gonna start off by saying I probably would have tried this place way earlier had it not been for the horrendous hours. It was never worth the trip across town to try it, although I kept hearing this was the best Indian in town. Some of the things we ordered were good, but overall, I can't agree with it being the best Indian in town. I ordered the lamb korma and while the flavoring was good, it just wasn't all that memorable. My husband liked the veggies that were served with his dish. I'm not sure I will be rushing back to try this, especially with the hours as is, but I'm glad I finally gave it a try. The guy running the place seemed very nice and we had good service, but the prices are a little steeped compared to similar dishes at other Indian restaurants in town.

Excellent Food! Ordered Kashmiri Chicken (Came with Lemon Rice, Veggie of the Day - Aloo Gobi, Paarad, Raita Dip, and Brownie). Food was very flavorful loved every bit of it. Will I dine here again? YES, without a doubt. Clean and friendly environment, seems to be run by a couple (very polite and courteous couple). Keep up the good work.

Hands down best Indian food I've ever had. So fresh, so delicious. This restaurant is like eating at your bff's house where her mom makes everything from scratch. I started with veggie samosas with cilantro chutney. I had the warmed apple cider which warmed me right up, since we're in the middle of a cold snap. I had the chicken chili special. The rice had the best flavors in it, I just loved it. The chicken was a nice hot spice. It just warmed my soul. I asked for a piece of naan and it was made to order. Excellent naan, best I've ever had. I could have stayed there all night chatting with the owners! Just lovely people. I ended with the not to miss warm homemade brownie with ice cream. They are opened Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. I highly recommend it!

Ben L. review is right on. This place is not your typical service was great, but food was ok. In fact its exactly the opposite. However where the service lacks it makes up for it in knowing your in direct communication with the kitchen. The husband of the dynamic duo, is in fact a physician helping his wife achieve her dreams. How great is that? On to the food. I have eaten at every indian establishment in South Carolina and this one is right up there. What set it appart from the mexican staffed kitchens of the several of the others i have been to, is the love that comes through your taste buds. You can just tell with the subtleness of spice and such that this is not food prepared by a parrot in the kitchen that was showed how to make something. This food, albeit Indian, screams homemade. All I can say is you should bypass the places that have an indian owner up front greeting the customers, and enjoy a meal cooked by someone who was brought up cooking the fare offered.

Despite a few menu alterations on their part, I got some interesting food. The place is listed as Pakastani, so I ordered things that seemed distinctively regional. My paneer chili delivered a delicious Indo-Chinese spice note and enough chili to clear my sinuses. The amount of actual paneer was not huge, but neither was the price, so I ended up just eating it all at once (unusual for me to finish an entire entree of that heavy stuff). The way they do a samosa chaat is a little bit drier and tangier than most, which does feel more like the style one gets in Pakistani places. It was satisfying, though the styrofoam container struggled to hold the liquid a bit. Of the numerous Indian restaurants in the area, I doubt this one will blow away all the others, but it was distinctive, fresh, and convenient. They gave me a loyalty card, and I'll probably come back.

First and last time. We had the Saag Paneer and Baigan Bertha (eggplant) as well as veggie…read moresamosas and nan. The samosas were fantastic! The naan was gummy and flavorless. Both main dishes had limited depth of flavor without the craveable layers of Indian spices that culinary dreams are made of. Both tasted freshly made and not stewed for hours, which would have provided the depth. Service/owner was perfectly nice. And the prices were half of the nearby competitors. Give Lahore a try! May be perfectly fine for most, especially as an introductory Indian food experience. Where's the heat?

Our waitress was so sweet and friendly, she really made it enjoyable. Definitely recommend the Butter Chicken, I got it medium and it was just the right amount of spice. I love that the garlic naan/roti actually had garlic pieces, instead of it being like a garlic butter. The tea is good as well. No pics, but trust it is very tasty!

I was really excited about this place (based on reviews) and had high expectations. However, as the…read morenight went on the excitement turned to frustration and eventually disappointment. Before we decided to head to the restaurant I had my wife call for wait times and availability. They made it clear that there wasn't any wait time and we would be seated soon after arriving. We arrived under 10 minutes from the phone call and had 2 parties that had already been waiting in front of us. I don't mind the wait just don't be dishonest when we ask. After 15-20 minutes we are finally seated. It's cozy and intimate location but enough space where you don't feel too close to anyone or can hear their conversations. We got the menus and noticed that there was a price increase of +$5 on EVERYTHING on the menu compared to their website menu. We chose this location with cost, reviews and distance in mind and if they had price increases they need to update their website. Either way we decided to order drinks and entrees at the same time in hopes to speed up the process. Sadly it didn't make a difference, we still waited over half an hour for our food to hit the table. I would've gave more of a pass on the wait time but half the restaurant was already eating and our food came out at the exact same time as 2 other tables. The workflow doesn't look to be efficient. The food was great, bold and packed with tons of flavor. The spice was about where you wanted for a medium level heat and I was very satisfied with it. My wife's dish on the other hand was very spicy for a mild. She's very sensitive to spice but after tasting it myself I believe they added more than what we ordered. The Naan was great, the butter and garlic was very balanced and was the highlight of the meal. The rice wasn't on par with the rest of the meal and wasn't worth the price (more on that later). After we finished we waited 10 or so minutes to get the tab and when we finally did we didn't get an itemized receipt on our meal. We thought it was strange considering that meal ended up being $54 and we knew there was no way it should've been for than $45 or so. They charged us a technology fee which we never had an option to pay cash? They just stuck the tap to pay in front of us.. but the worst part is that they charged $5.50 for medium rice. THERE IS NO LOCAL COMPETITION THAT CHARGES FOR RICE. I've been to other places and haven't had this issue, even in Aiken, SC. If you are going to charge for rice please say so. Transparency isn't their strong suit here and I can't imagine I can justify the cost of going again. To be clear, the staff is very nice and respectful when you talk to them and when they check on you BUT this is a real issue when it comes to customer service. Update your menu prices and be transparent on what you are charging people.
