The repair itself looked like it was poorly done and the next day when I went out to my car, there was a large crack that had developed that had not been there when I had arrived home from the repair. This could have been avoided if they had examined the windshield before I arrived and called and told me not to come. But apparently they don't get the windshields in until the morning of the appointment. The second time I went, they called me after we left and said they could not do it because the "OBD Port" had been cut and they needed it to be there for the recalibration. So I immediately said I'm sure that has something to do with the Killswitch and they acted like no that can't be it. So then I called Infiniti and they said yes that's what it is and they told me to call Sound Waves to get specific instructions on what to tell them. Mind you they just told me it had been cut and to come pickup my truck. Sound Waves helped and told me what to say as did Infiniti. They finally figured it out and installed the new windshield. They also put new windshield wipers on that I asked for and was going to pay $80 for but I asked her to comp them which she did because of the come back a second time fiasco. Well the free windshield wipers were faulty and we found out in the middle of a monsoon on a road trip. When we got back from the road trip, my mobile detailer came to clean the truck and shows me where the raggedy windshield wiper had scratched the front of the windshield they installed. And there is some kind of sticker residue on the inside of the windshield that we scrubbed with everything we had and it won't come off. So I called and they said they would replace it under a warranty claim. I made an appointment for the same week. When I get there, the NEW windshield they had in the shop to put in had a crack in it! They didn't install it. I left and told them I didn't want to work with Safelite anymore and I wouldn't be making another appointment. I will say everyone there was very professional and helpful. The issues here are obviously larger systemic issues, such as why their glass distributors keep sending damaged windshields and why they don't get them until the morning of the appointment and make calls to let people know not to make a trip for nothing.

I have used another window replacement company a couple of times but could not get an appointment from them for 4 days. I saw the good review for Southwind Auto Glass so called them. Austin answered my call, took my information, found he had my window replacement available and contacted me within 2 hours saying he was on his way. He was professional, thorough, and efficient. He vacuumed my car of all broken glass, replaced my broken window, and tested it completely before buttoning it up completely. And he did not charge extra for coming to a local address to complete my repair! I was very lucky to find Southwind, and Austin, during a short stay in the area. I would highly recommend him, and Southwind Auto Glass for any glass replacement needs!

They made the situation right, they were very apologetic and also fixed my windshield in a timely manner. I cannot say anything negative due to the fact they acknowledged their issue and fixed it without fault! Would use them again! They made everything right... took time to acknowledge what was wrong and I can totally appreciate that. They also did everything in a timely and professional manner the second go around.
