We went to Indah Sushi on our last night in Whitefish and really enjoyed ourselves. They were short staffed but we still had excellent service and the sushi was very good.

Great food and great service! Make sure to come in early or be ready to wait, very limited seating but definitely worth it! Great deals for locals through the week and over all a great experience with great pricing!

Love love love this place! We had great service & all of our rolls were great! They have a nice outdoor patio as well as a good amount of seating inside.

Oh wow how I love giving a good and happy review. It's my birthday week and we are in Whitefish for the week. Being from Southern California, you'd think that we would have had the best sushi from there. But I'm thrilled to say that that is not the case. Oh we've had great Sushi - but then we tried Indah Sushi and our world was rocked! Have you ever had sushi tacos? This is our 1st time... they were so creamy and so fresh and just delicious! I am going to admit that we over indulged ...and every single roll that we had was - I don't even know - could it have been better then the one before??? Our drink of choice was huckleberry haze... Sake. I have to make the recommendation that you try it. Okay so I can go on about the food but i'm going to move to our experience and service... Jeff was our server and he is so sooo nice and kind and honorable. He made us feel like we are his favorite regulars and he knows his sushi menu. We want to give a shout out to everyone that was working last night. Thank you to: Jeff Jordan Alexia Brandon Chase ...and owner Tiffany We'll be traveling 2 1/2 hours every time we're craving sushi, which is pretty frequent.

Delicious fresh sushi...in Montana! Food: Not a bad dish passed through the table. Would order again: scallops, fall guy, crazy mary. Ahi Jewel maki was okay. Heard rave reviews about the curry soup and the coconut shrimp bowl. Also, you can ask for all the tempura gluten free! I tried the purple haze to drink - it's a drink sized for 2+ people. Service: It was above average. Our server was friendly and didn't write our long order down. I was impressed she got 90% percent of the order right. Ambiance: It's cozy. Chill. Understated. It doesn't scream "$17/roll" but my group ordered 6 of them and they were awesome. Yum!

Spicy scallop nigiri

I don't even quite know where to begin with this review because your night was just freaking fantastic. First, a huge thank you to the staff to be willing to take us as their final table of the evening. And second, thank you for making this one of the most fun dinners! Let me paint the picture with how much fun we had here. The staff must have heard us talking about a song we wanted to hear, and no joke, they turned up the speaker system in the place (yes, we were the last customers there) and let the song rip! Literally, Bring 'em Out by TI and Jay-Z was pumping through the speakers and we got to have the best COVID dance party. Our quarantined bodies needed that moment to let loose and it was so refreshing to have such a fun staff. Thank you! Now onto the amazing sushi! Wow, these rolls were just fire. The spicy scallop nigiri was legitimately one of my favorite sushis ever! I was in buttery, spicy, heaven! Simply incredible. My Lady June roll (think that's the name) was perfection too. All of our rolls blew us away! We were having a feast. And then our Dreamy Clouds bottle of sake was a winner! Unfiltered and still quite dry. You MUST get yourself here! It was honesty such a perfect place!

Gotta downgrade Wasabi this time 'round…read more This is a regular stop when in MT, mostly on tradition because we came here on our honeymoon and took a pic at the bar. This time, the whole experience was a bit of a 'one off'. The Good - Actually...nothing to report here. The Meh - Not sure if the sushi goes here, or in the 'Bad' section. Twenty years ago and the first few times after that, the sushi was crisp, unusually tasty with a bit of a 'surprise'. We loved it. 5 years ago, it was 'ok'. This time, just really marginal. The rice was dry and so were the ingredients. Disappointing. The Bad - The staff were all going on and on and on about their music and their gigs and music theory...blah blah blah, while we sat and waited for our food. We realized at some point that they were cranking out large to-go orders while we waited. Boo. No good. Take care of those who made the time and effort to come to your business and eat. I don't often award one star, but Wasabi gets one for this experience. Post-dining discussion came down to whether we'd ever come back. We decided that yes, we'd probably return for our pic at the bar and a quick sake, but we'd eat in one of the other many restaurants in Whitefish.

Overall I was very disappointed. There is zero ambiance and their sushi is way over priced. The…read morerolls were decent but nothing exceptional. I didn't order nigiri because of the price. I'm attaching a picture of their menu but $15 for yellow tail, $16 for salmon and $19 for salmon eggs is out of control. Should be $$$$ not $$. I don't mind spending $500 for 3 people bur in this establishment I couldn't or wouldn't consider it. Many places to eat in Whitefish leave this to the locals if they crave average sushi.

They gave us menus and I assumed they didn't have a kids menu because I wasn't given one, I had asked the server about it and she went and retrieved one for us. The menu is confusing, as we learned while ordering there is a difference between hibachi and sushi. If you sit on the sushi side you CANNOT order from a certain part of the menu and vice versa. There should be separate menus for this. Throughout the service the server did a good job checking on us but at the end she had dirty tables and we were neglected. The guests sitting around us were given boxes, checks, and cashed out before we ever were. We sat there for quite a while before the server offered us dessert, which by that time we were way more than ready to just leave. I understand busy, but this server prebussed our table until we only had drinks while the guests around us tables were filthy, but those people were cashed out and they left. Then we saw her snipping at a busboy to clear her tables for her. For food, 2 of us got sushi rolls, 1 of us got a steak and vegetable, and the kids chicken meal. The sushi was yummy, the steak was horrible- just horrible, and the kids was a very good portion; my son only ate the rice so the rest of us ate his food. He wasn't a fan of the sauce on the chicken. Service goes a long way in a restaurant and it can make a bad meal seem ok as long as you're taken care of. We were disappointed.
