This place is the poster for the model child for LBS's (local bike shops). Friendly sales staff Full selection of clothing, accessories, and parts - along with a major selection of road and mountain bikes Uber friendly/helpful service staff (Ernie from the service department(?) is a true professional). Pricing is more than fair. As a DYI-er, the staff was more than happy to help me out with tips and suggestions. Luckily, I need to visit San Dimas twice a year to clean my teeth. You bet I'll be stopping by the bike shop as well...

Wow I had the best experience here! I have never been to a bike shop before and had no idea what to expect. I called in asking about a quote on a tune up and was suggested I come to the shop. I was greeted by Collin who helped me unload it out of my car and was very friendly and welcoming. I told him my reason for using it, and just wanting it to be functioning for the weekend. He put it in the bike lift and started checking out my bike and tightening a couple of things and oiling it and filling with air. Collin told me what he thought of my bike, told me he thought it's a little small for me lol and didn't try to upsell me and was very kind. Then when all that was done, Collin helped me load it back into my car. (Super helpful because it took me a while to load it.) This was such a pleasant visit! I've mentioned it to my family who will be taking their bikes there. Thank you Collin!!

I want to take a moment to recognize the outstanding customer service I received today from Alexis and to also give credit to the management team for having such a professional and knowledgeable staff member on their team. About three weeks ago, I called the shop with several questions regarding Specialized bikes. Alexis answered the phone and spent time walking me through different models, features, and recommendations based on my riding style. She was incredibly patient, polite, and thorough during our first call--which already made a great impression. Today, I came into the shop ready to make a purchase, and I was glad to see Alexis again. From the start, she was welcoming and attentive. She remembered our previous conversation and helped me finalize the selection of two Specialized bikes. What stood out most was her ability to answer every single question I had without hesitation, and the way she went above and beyond to ensure I was completely comfortable with my purchase. She quickly made all the necessary adjustments to both bikes--seat height, suspension, handlebars--so I could test ride them and get a true feel before making the final decision. Her attention to detail and care during the setup process made it clear she knows what she's doing and genuinely wants customers to be satisfied. To the manager reading this, I want to say--Alexis is an absolute asset to your team. Her professionalism, product knowledge, and customer service were exceptional from start to finish. Employees like her reflect positively on your entire store. I'm extremely satisfied with the service and my two new bikes, and I'm genuinely excited to hit the trails tonight. Thank you again, Alexis, and kudos to the management for maintaining a top-notch team!

I went to Incycle today after a long bike ride with a friend because I was having issues with my cleats -- apparently, a screw had fallen off, and everything was loose. I was greeted by a young man and explained the problem. He gladly took care of it and fixed everything for me. When I went to the cashier to pay, he seemed surprised. I said, "Oh, I just wanted to pay for the parts and labor." He replied, "You don't have to pay." I thought to myself, this is so cool! Great service and such a kind gesture. No wonder I just keep going back and this is not my first review. I'm just overjoyed, and had to post.

This is my go to bike shop after receiving horrible service from other nearby competitors within the area. I have been coming to Incycle bicycles--San Dimas for about 2 years now and have always received top notch genuine service everytime. I had to come twice this week for flat inner tubes on my bike and my son's little bike. Patrick helped me and provided above & beyond customer service. This man takes pride in what he does and it shows. Patrick even took the time to show me how to take off the tires and do a simple inner tube change on the spot! Patrick is an asset to this company and it was such an enjoyable & pleasant experience thanks to him. Keep up the good work Patrick as your enthusiasm & dedication to helping customers is not overlooked and greatly appreciated. And most importantly thanks for helping getting my son and I back on our bikes today to enjoy a ride.

Not the usual Incycle Bicycles shop I visit... I was curious about the S-Works Aethos and wanted to see one in person. I looked at the Specialized website and saw that there were only 2 in SoCal in my size. This was the closest shop to me. This enormous bicycle shop is located in a outdoor shopping center close to the 210 freeway. Parking was super easy and convenient due to the large parking lot and because the shop sits at an edge of the shopping center away from the other businesses. The selection of bikes and gear seemed endless. The store was well organized and well stocked. However I didn't initially see the bicycle I came for. That's where Adrian comes in. Adrian was awesome! He was friendly , knowledgeable and patient. He located the bike for me somewhere in the back, rode alongside me on an e-bike on the test ride, answered all my questions, sold me the bike and set up my complimentary bike fitting. Glad I made the drive!

    Shoddy wrap job.

(cont'd) There was no point in venting or wasting any more energy on this place. I should have special ordered the bike at Helen's Cycles and waited a week. It would have saved two weeks of frustration and have had mechanics I trust assemble the bike. A few rides later the brakes lost pressure again. They didn't bottom out but the levers came so close to the bars when braking I had to keep all my fingers on the outside of the levers. I took the bike to a different shop. They bled the brakes and told me there were a lot of bubbles. The brakes work great now. What really sets me off is that the mechanics at Incycle didn't apologize once for the two times Incycle's Service Department put my life in jeopardy. I don't get it. I understand that mistakes happen but their lack of attention to detail is appalling and borders on negligence. I hope I don't come across any more mechanical issues with the assembly of my bike so I won't have to deal with this place again.

Ask the Community - Incycle Bicycles

Do you have BMX bike parts?

Yes they have BMX parts and are very experienced at working on them.

Are the bikes preassemble ready to ride out or do they ship them in a box?

Shipped to store from bike company and assembled at Incycle. Plus, just so you don't ride out with an ill fitted bike, when you purchase the bike they will help you with a "Basic" or general bike fitting, but you can also purchase a Retul bike… Read more

As newcomers to the E-Bike world, we had visited another local shop first but were told the features we wanted simply weren't available on the type of bike we were looking for--which didn't seem right. That's when we met Mark at Competitive Edge. He took his time walking us through various models and manufacturers, carefully balancing our budget with the features that mattered most to us. His attention to detail was incredible, and at no point did we feel rushed or pressured into a decision. Thanks to the outstanding service, we ended up ordering our bikes right then and there. When we came back to pick them up, they were perfect and ready to ride! We chose two RadRover 6 Plus bikes, and they've been everything we hoped for--feature-rich, well-priced, and a total blast to ride. A huge shoutout to Mark and his team for their exceptional service and knowledge. Highly recommend!

Let me start with a confession: I do not generally write glowing reviews because griping is simply…read moremore fun. It offers more narrative range. More punchlines. More catharsis. Singing someone's praises, on the other hand, feels like work. So for me to be writing this, you can safely assume that someone at Competitive Edge earned it the hard way: by surviving me. I am, by any measure, a mechanical imbecile. Not modestly so--profoundly so. A screwdriver in my hand is not a tool but a threat. My grasp of bike maintenance hovers somewhere between medieval superstition and modern sabotage. And yet, I ride often. I ride far. I ride with cavalier abandon, full of confidence that whatever I break (short of myself--jury's still out) can and will be remedied by the sainted staff at Competitive Edge. They have exhibited inordinate patience, unwavering competence, and a level of human decency rarely seen outside of therapy or hostage negotiations. Pricing is always fair--if anything, suspiciously so, given what they've had to fix--and they've never once made me feel like the hopeless case I so clearly am. While I'm usually reluctant to single out individuals--everyone there has been great--I'd be remiss if I didn't mention Sean. Sean has consistently treated me like a functional adult despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. He explains things patiently, never overcomplicates, and somehow manages to hide his astonishment when I bring in yet another Frankenbike scenario of my own doing. The entire shop just gets it. They're kind without being condescending, skilled without being smug, and always willing to take the time to help--even when the problem is "I put the front wheel on backwards again." (Don't ask.) Bottom line: If you're looking for a bike shop that'll not only fix your equipment but also keep your dignity intact in the process, this is the place. They've earned my trust, my repeat business, and, most impressively, this review--which I would have much preferred to reserve for some good old-fashioned complaining. Thanks, Competitive Edge. You make mechanical ineptitude almost fun.
