This is a local bike shop that offers a wide variety of bicycles and bike accessories. Staff were friendly and helpful. As it was my first time seriously purchasing a helmet, one of the employees gave me a detailed walkthrough of their helmet selection, which styles are best for what activities, and how to fit myself. They had a large variety of helmets and sizes, so I spent around 30-40 minutes just trying all of them on to figure out which one I liked best. Wow I had the best experience here! I have never been to a bike shop before and had no idea what to expect. I called in asking about a quote on a tune up and was suggested I come to the shop. I was greeted by Collin who helped me unload it out of my car and was very friendly and welcoming. I told him my reason for using it, and just wanting it to be functioning for the weekend. He put it in the bike lift and started checking out my bike and tightening a couple of things and oiling it and filling with air. Collin told me what he thought of my bike, told me he thought it's a little small for me lol and didn't try to upsell me and was very kind. One of the best shops I've ever been to in terms of customer service. The management and the staff are excellent. It's so nice to get old-school small town treatment when you go in: being greeted by staff, being asked if you need help, friendliness, can-do attitude, old-fashioned hustle when they are busy. I went to Incycle today after a long bike ride with a friend because I was having issues with my cleats -- apparently, a screw had fallen off, and everything was loose. I was greeted by a young man and explained the problem. He gladly took care of it and fixed everything for me. When I went to the cashier to pay, he seemed surprised. I had to come twice this week for flat inner tubes on my bike and my son's little bike. Patrick helped me and provided above & beyond customer service. This man takes pride in what he does and it shows. Patrick even took the time to show me how to take off the tires and do a simple inner tube change on the spot! Not the usual Incycle Bicycles shop I visit... I was curious about the S-Works Aethos and wanted to see one in person. I looked at the Specialized website and saw that there were only 2 in SoCal in my size. This was the closest shop to me. This enormous bicycle shop is located in a outdoor shopping center close to the 210 freeway. Parking was super easy and convenient due to the large parking lot and because the shop sits at an edge of the shopping center away from the other businesses. The selection of bikes and gear seemed endless. The store was well organized and well stocked. However I didn't initially see the bicycle I came for. That's where Adrian comes in. Adrian was awesome! He was friendly , knowledgeable and patient. He located the bike for me somewhere in the back, rode alongside me on an e-bike on the test ride, answered all my questions, sold me the bike and set up my complimentary bike fitting. (cont'd) There was no point in venting or wasting any more energy on this place. I should have special ordered the bike at Helen's Cycles and waited a week. It would have saved two weeks of frustration and have had mechanics I trust assemble the bike. A few rides later the brakes lost pressure again. They didn't bottom out but the levers came so close to the bars when braking I had to keep all my fingers on the outside of the levers. I took the bike to a different shop. They bled the brakes and told me there were a lot of bubbles. The brakes work great now. What really sets me off is that the mechanics at Incycle didn't apologize once for the two times Incycle's Service Department put my life in jeopardy. I don't get it. I understand that mistakes happen but their lack of attention to detail is appalling and borders on negligence. I hope I don't come across any more mechanical issues with the assembly of my bike so I won't have to deal with this place again. read more

Went in as a recommendation by a friend for headset adjustments. Work was completed and have no issues, but, the interaction of some of the staff behind the counter is not up to snuff. I noticed this a few times I've been here. When talking to them make you feel stupid. I don't know much about bikes so thats why i come to the shop but instead of educating you, it feels being talking down to. I also noticed that if you are buying big ticket items then they're fine or if they are friends with you. I hope that for some of those people their attitude changes. This place screwed up my trip. Took my bike along with my wife's to be looked over. Charged me $50 for each bike and nothing was done. Asked them to check the tubes since they were sitting, grease chains and give them a full inspection and adjustments if needed. Wife's tire was flat before we left for trip. Bike was not moved since it was picked up. Chains were never greased and on my bike it was not even serviced. It was unridable. Gears wouldn't change and shifters were not working. I bought a used Thule Pro bike rack for my 5th wheel and the owner did not have lock keys. I went to Incycle to find a solution and was able to order both a tumbler specific key and a "ghost" key needed to change tumblers. Bernie was especially helpful to the point of coming to my home to try an idea, and when the back ordered ghost key did not show up after 3 weeks, Brian supplied me with one from stock. the service offered was outstanding, and the store is a giant candy store for bicyclists. Came here for a brake adjustment and after checking me in outside, I was brought in immediately to the repair area. The associate who worked on my bike was knowledgeable and took great care of my bike. It's a Novara with a one handle brake but they were able to figure it out! 5 star all the way. I had been doing my research for a couple of weeks prior to committing to actually bike store shop around. I had visited a total of 3 shops and of the 3, this was by large margins had the most bikes in general. I was helped out by Izzy who was so informative, knowledgeable, and helpful. Definitely found what I wanted with his help. I had been using my boyfriend's road bike which had drop handles that made me feel adverse to drop handles. It wasn't until Izzy encouraged me to sit on the bike of his suggestion that I realized that wasn't the drop handles that I didn't like, it was because my boyfriends bike didn't necessarily fit me which made me feel the back and neck pains after riding. He also told me that road bikes have upgraded significantly which makes the drop handles more comfortable and requires less of a lean. I've been supporting this shop for many years and recently they decided to cancel the status and discount to their gold members who are the ones that helped this shop become what they are today. I don't care if specialized bought the shop out - it's just poor customer service to cut off the folks that have supported you for so long. I know a lot of guys that are disappointed and are choosing to shop elsewhere because of this. You would think a company like specialized would know that this would cause the shop to lose customers and sales. Seems like it went from owner operated to a greedy corporation overnight. Don't get me wrong, it's a good shop. I'm just disappointed and turned off. Bottom line. Lots of good guys, bikes, gear and service at the shop although I can pass on the cool guy attitude that a select few employees have (kid with long brown hair).
