They couldn't get our card payment to go through. tech called the manager & she wanted him to write down our card info & send it to her via text Then invoice us Monday. We said No & had to find ATM for cash. When we came back with the cash we were waiting in the lobby along with many others for quite some time. Very unprofessional Probably wouldn't ever go back if I need any auto glass repairs.

Had an appointment on Home Street at 4 on Saturday. At 6 still didn't have a windshield. When they got done my son told them you broke my bullet antenna. They tech said "Sorry, there is nothing I can do." Excuse me. You broke a part and there is nothing you can do. It didn't come to you broken. So this is the second vehicle your technicians have broke parts on one of our cars and you think it is okay not to do anything about it. Parts are not cheap and they didn't go into your shop broken. Without an antenna a radio doesn't work and you find this acceptable. I will be contacting the insurance company and they can take it up with your business

My moonroof stopped working suddenly. Friend of mine took a look at it and told me that he was…read morepretty sure the moonroof motor was burned up and needed to be replaced. A friend and client recommended I go to accurate Autoglass because they were cheaper than the dealership. Should be named INACCURATE Autoglass. I dropped off my car around noon. He called me a couple hours in and told me he was having problems. It was after 5 o'clock when I reached back out asking what is going on. He had told me it should only take an hour or two. 3 at most. He told me to come back to the shop, and he will talk to me about what was going on. He claimed that when he took my old motor out that it was in fact burned up and needed to be replaced. Then he hooked up the new motor, and it worked at first, but then when he bolted it in, it stopped working. He said he tried everything he could think of and he doesn't know why it's not working. He told me with the old motor my equinox was throwing 13 codes, and now with a new motor, it's only throwing two. So I said, well what are the two codes it's throwing? So he grabs his tablet and has me read it as if I know anything about car codes. It's basically Latin to me. One of them said there was a problem with the Moon roof and one of them said there was a problem with the driver window. So I questioned him why there would be a problem with the driver window, and he said well, maybe because I disconnected the battery and that's the only window that has automatic up and down. I said did you check and make sure the driver window is working? You're not gonna send me home with my car with an inoperable window, are you? And he goes wait a minute let me go check. And I was right. The driver window was not functioning properly and he said he needed to reset it . Now mind you, I don't know anything about cars, but I would think he would check this before he sent me home with my car. Should I have to tell him to make sure the driver's window is working when he's clearly seeing a code that reads it's not? Grr..... So then I said well what are we gonna do about the moonroof now? And he says he did the job I hired me for. He put in the motor and he installed it. It's not his fault that it's not working. He didn't diagnose the problem. With his hands in the air like that somehow absolved him of responsibility. I said you've got to be joking. You expect me to pay you the full amount when I'm walking out of here and my moon roof still doesn't work? Why is it my fault that you don't know how to fix this? And he said there must be another problem. He said maybe the switch had gone bad or maybe the entire tracking mechanism had gone bad. Maybe the shade motor needs replaced as well. He said he didn't really know. He said he would call GM on Monday and see if they had any ideas, but if they didn't have any suggestions, he said he was going to wash his hands of this and literally clapped his hands in front of my face. I said I'm not comfortable paying you the full amount when I didn't get what I paid for. I said I'm happy to pay you for the motor. And he said he's not comfortable with that. He said worked all day on my car. I said I understand that, but you didn't do the job I hired you to do. Again he repeated himself that he didn't diagnose the problem and this isn't his problem anymore. He did what he was hired to do. So I reluctantly handed it over $500 cash of the total $625 quoted. And I drove my car home without a working moonroof and -$500 & no guarantee that anything he did helped. It could have made it worse. Monday night I reached out to him to ask what he found out about my moonroof. He said he would call me the next day. Did he even call? Probably not. Tuesday he emails me a bulletin from GM stating that there's a problem with this make and model regarding the moonroof, and he credited the remaining portion of my bill. He said I just need to go to a dealership. So I went to Team Chevy Valpo three days later, and they fixed it in five minutes. They said he clearly didn't reset the window. That's all it needed. Clearly Paul at accurate Autoglass should not be taking on this kind of business if he doesn't have the knowledge to do this properly. And I feel like he took advantage of me financially. If he was right and this was a bigger problem than a motor that needed replacing, he should've just called me and said that I need to take it to the dealership at that point. He shouldn't have expected the full amount knowing he didn't do his job and passing the blame off on GM. Be wary, Valpo. This was a stressful, frustrating and intimidating experience.

I dropped it off because we had a second vehicle we could use so I didn't have to wait. I was expecting the worst because of the issues it was having seemed major. When I heard back from the shop, they thoroughly inspected everything and rather than just trying to replace a bunch of things I didn't need, they simply cleaned everything up and it was just an issue with a sensor. I was so happy to hear that outcome. I would definitely recommend the Belle Tire team at the Michigan St. shop. They accomplished everything I asked for at a price that was extremely reasonable.

Ended up with new rotors added with pads due to that's the policy. New oil filter gasket out of the box said was faulty and had to replace it. There for 3 hours. Next day, oil leaking out of Jeep. Back to Belle and found out oil housing damaged. Would not hold oil and needed to be replaced. This took another 3-1/2 hours to repair. Told by the assistant manager he was going to dig into what happened during these two encounters and would call me TODAY 3/27/25. He promised they would make it right. I've yet to hear from anyone. I'll never trust Belle Tire and won't ever go back. $505 for a botched oil change, rotors I probably didn't need and 7+ hours of my life I will never get back.
