His crew of 3 guys removed our old awning then replaced with the new fabric . Even though it took longer than anticipated Dusty still honored his quote. Just talking to this man we realized we had met a knowabl and truthful person. We are from Florida and were visiting but we would maker this trip again to have such great customer service.

Removed a sofa and loveseat. Replaced a sofa with two person wall hugging recliners. Perfect. Had a fireplace cabinet made to exactly fit where the loveseat was. Wonderful. we have heat and ambiance on cool days. In addition to that hand made cabinet, they added a smart tv which slides down when not in use. Repaired a gas leak in our fridge and repaired the sealed compartment. Removed an old tv from above our windshield that we didn't like the location. They built a new cabinet there to fill the space and matched our woodwork! To top that off, we had them tear out old walls and replace them with fresh new walls. Put in a smart tv to replace the old tv in bedroom. Rewired all the satellite and antenna wires. They also found a gas leak under our RV and fixed it. We just can't say enough about the work and craftsmanship. If I could, I would give ten stars. Better than we ever imagined.

Pro Custom was very prompt in getting back to me, going over the cursory to-do list, and getting us on the schedule when we knew we would be in town. The biggest problem we had was in getting started on the right foot. There was miscommunication between the sales and service guys about the scope and schedule, so the rig sat untouched until we were back in town to check on it. However, once we cleared all of the up, we got most of the work we wanted done in the right time frame. Like a lot of RV shops, they have hookups on site so that you can stay with your rig while they're working on it. The guys were always careful about everyone's pets, electrical needs (leaving refrigerators plugged in, etc.), and sleep schedules (they do start work by 7:00 if you'll let them in). The bad news is that the shop is near the expansive Elkhart rail yard, and the squealing of train brakes goes on 24 hours a day. You'll want to keep your a/c fans running or make sure you have white noise or earplugs to sleep the first few days. Where Pro Custom really shines is in the quality of the work. Our to-do list included some new appliances and exhaust fans, tearing out and re-wiring for relocated TVs, and a bunch of maintenance. The custom woodwork done that blends seamlessly in with the 15 year-old cabinetry surrounding it. The electrical work disappeared just like it should, and they were very cautious about keeping the systems balanced. Everything looked great when they were done. They had recommendations for care and feeding of these projects and for the ongoing to-do list. The crew are completely professional and good at what they do. RV projects are a lot like home projects- plan ahead to get the contractors scheduled, pad your time and expense budgets by a small percentage to account for unforeseen surprises, and communicate with the crew often to make sure the project stays on plan. Once you go in with those expectations, you'll be happy with these guys' work.

The tank valves, wires and handles were replaced incorrectly and not tested before he closed up the belly panels-had to start all over again at 130 dollars per hour. The drain under the shower had a minor leak. The tech ruined the shower stall while attempting to repair it without removing the pan. It still leaks and did so on the first use after leaving the shop. (Tech insisted he checked it out.) He also installed a new 50 amp connector (a 400 dollar stainless steel SmartPlug that I provided.) He had to get another tech to help him as he could not do this simple repair. He then scratched the finish and stripped two of the four screw holes with his drill/driver. This tech left this electrical repair in an unsafe condition (bare wires with no sheathing.) I had to complain to the manager to get this fixed as the tech refused. These supposed repairs cost $1908 and eight days of my vacation. Nearly all of this cost went to labor. I had to pay for this tech's lack of any knowledge while he tried and failed repeatedly to finish his work. Now I find out that the service department is no longer in business. Go some where else.
