I've been in here and purchased bouquets from them a few times and this was the first time I had such a bleak experience. I've always had my bouquets done by the owner and always amazing bouquets and amazing service. This time I walked in and was greeted with a hello and that was it. I was unsure if the person who said hello worked there because she was sitting down towards the front and continued to talk after she said hi. I waited for 10 minutes because I figured they were busy because of Mother's day. I finally walked more towards the back to look at the selection of flowers and finally am greeted by the older white lady who was cutting flowers. She finally turns to me and in an annoyed tone asked if i needed help with something. I let her know I was looking to get a bouquet she asked me zero questions other than if I could come back in 15 and asked if I wanted it wrapped in paper. I said yes and came back 15 minutes later. When I arrived they had arranged a random bouquet. Every other time i've been in i've been asked what my budget is and what colors i'd like. I figured when I'd come back those questions would be asked, however I felt like I was more of a nuisance than a customer. The bouquet i was presented was one; incredibly small and two it quiet honestly looked like any other grocery store bouquet. I asked for it to be re done and if i'd be able to pick the flowers. The bouquet I walked out with was pretty but in my opinion not worth $56, I feel i've gotten much more extravagant bouquets for the same price from this shop as well as way friendlier service. As well as I witnessed the same woman I had spoken with greet other customers who walked in with way more compassion. I love this floral shop, but that specific woman's attitude was incredibly off putting and definitely brought my vibe down as soon as I walked in. My Mom's birthday is the day before Valentine's Day and he was able to create three perfect centerpieces for her party. I called the shop on a Thursday with no answer, so I sent an email instead inquiring about a handheld bouquet for under $50 needed by Saturday. I got a call back from the shop a couple hours later, the person was not helpful at all and told me only the owner could answer my question but he wasn't in the shop so I had to email him. Come Saturday, I did not receive any response from the owner. Figured I would give this shop one last try and go in person to check it out. I went in around 1 pm and it was closed! Wanted to check out this store finally but every time I've been it's been locked when the hours say differently online. And when I've been the people working here just look at me and don't say anything to me at the door or just walk away after they see my try to come in. I want to do business with this company so badly. I went in last Saturday online it says they're open at 10 am. There was no one there. I called left a message and I also sent an email. I did not get any response. I called a few days later and try to see if they're open before I came. Unfortunately I'm not from this town and I had forgotten my purse at work. So I was going to be in town again this coming Saturday. I asked if they were going to be open. They said they have an event and they won't be open. They mentioned they normally have a sign but they were so busy they weren't able to put it up last weekend. This place seems very snooty like they're too good for anybody who just walked in and there more towards event. I saw some other reviews online. The same thing happened they came and it was closed. I also seen some other reviews from other customers seeing that they ordered flowers and it was supposed to be surprised and they never delivered it up not being a surprise. Jimmy is amazing and does truly the most gorgeous, original, tasteful and glorious work. So classy and with such a gorgeous variety. Prices are awesome.
