I stopped by on a freezing Parisian evening (I'm a California girl who knows Paris well). I was hoping for some vin chaud (hot wine) but ended with some very high quality tastings. The prices aren't too clear, but don't hesitate to ask. There are a few things to snack on.. you'll be disappointed if your'e hungry. Around 7pm reserved tables were filling up. I came here in July while visiting Paris for 3 days. My girlfriend and I wanted to go to a wine bar and Inaro was exactly what I had pictured for the perfect wining experience. The interior(a lot of wood highlights) is intimate in the sense that it's not too big of a space but still holds plenty of seatings (High chairs, a few couches, and a community table.) We were seated immediately upon walking in and chose some spots in the corner where it wasn't crammed at all. It was actually really close to the chef preparing the plates which made a good time watching him every now and then. When we first approached Inaro, the entrance had all their tall doors open so people who were sitting at the community table inside were able to stand on the steps which allowed everyone to casually hang out over a glass of wine. This place was BY FAR my favorite place out of the whole trip. It's literally the most simple menu that you've ever seen. With that being said.. it was probably the most expensive meal that we had in the whole trip, only because we ended up ordering a bottle and a carafe of wine. Needless to say.. I was definitely drunk by the end of the meal. Charcuterie et fromage - €9 Desserts - €6 Wine - Bottle - du meilleur €30 / Carafe - du meilleur €22 (we opted for a dry white wine but I couldn't remember the name of it) So the only things you really order here is wine, charcuteries, cheese, and dessert. Each item comes from a different place of the world. I distinctly remember him saying that the ground pepper in the oil is from Madagascar. Pretty neat. It is located on a main street which we had walked from our hotel (15 mins) and felt safe the entire time. All in all, I recommend this place if you're going to visit Paris. I was looking for a healthy and fast lunch. I went with two other people and we loved it. We got the lunch special (soup or salad of the day, CCAC/sandwich and a dessert). I got the salmon sandwich, soup and cheesecake and my friend got the beef sandwich, pasta salad and apple pastry. The sandwiches were so delicious. I think we all agreed that the sides were just ok, but that they complimented the food nicely. The cheesecake was actually granola and a sweet vanilla yogurt but I enjoyed that more for a lighter lunch. The food tasted fresh, perfect portion size, excellent service and all for only 9.8 euros. We loved it and would definitely go back and try some of their other selections. The menu was in French, however the wait staff was very helpful in translating for us. read more

My wife and I stayed at the Renaissance Hotel next door and just happened upon this place. We absolutely loved this restaurant. The charcuterie and cheese are to die for and the two gentleman that were running the place were friendly and picked out the perfect wine pairing for our meal. We loved it so much we ended up eating there twice during our 5 day visit. Cudos to Inaro!!! read more

This review is regarding their lunch: Inaro really set the standard of how I assumed all other restaurants visits would be like. Their lunch for only €10 was a three course meal which was super delicious and so worth the money. The menu was in french but the waiter who was extremely nice translated every single thing for us and gave recommendations on what we should order. In the end we ordered chicken sandwich, salmon sandwich, onion soup and cheese cake and some sponge cake for dessert. The sandwiches and the soup was fantastic while the dessert was decent. Next time I visit France I will definitely come back here for both lunch and dinner! read more

We loved this place! Make a reservation. We stopped in on a Tuesday evening and they were booked that night and the next, but had availability for Thursday. Sign us up! The hosts - it would be hard to call them servers, but they seem to be the proprietors - were very friendly and welcoming. Whoa - isn't this Paris? Alright, cross off that stereotype. They explained the menu to us and left us to make our choices. Basically, it's a tapas restaurant with limited choices, but fresh and varied items. We tried all of the options: charcuterie, cheese and seafood. The charcuterie was amazing! Cured and deli meats from France, Spain and Italy. We ended up ordering a second serving. Cheese was also sublime! There were too many things to remember, but all the cheeses were delicious, even as I struggled to keep track of what was what. Seafood platter was interesting, definitely our least favorite choice, but a worthy inclusion. Some whole wheat bread, butter and a bit of olive oil were provided to round out the meal. Wine followed a similar principle to food: selections were grouped in a good/better/best way by broad categories (red/white/rosé, as I recall). We plowed through two bottles of red among 3, with the fourth in our group soberly enjoying an excellent Sauterne. The place was packed. Our arrival time of 8:00 resulted in us being the last table seated for the evening. Ambience was friendly and convivial. It was *NOT* packed with tourists, though I expect a fair number do frequent this place, due to Yelp and the fact that the hosts spoke to us in English. Highly recommended! read more

Went there with my girlfriend on our second night in Paris because she wanted to go to a wine bar. We got there around 7:30 and it was already packed. If you don't get there early be prepared to sit next to strangers, and even if you do, they might seat someone next to you; we got seated next to a group of locals who spoke very little english. It's a cozy little resturant at the end of a side street and right as you walk in youll notice the huge selection of wines and cheeses behind the counter, and cured meats hanging from the celing. The menu is barely even that, simply a list of sizes of charcuterie and cheese plates you can get, as well as 3 "types" of wine, "good" "better" and "the best' each of which they had a variety of whites and reds that the servers were more than happy to help match your tastes. That being said, it was one of the most memorable dinners in Paris, and for a great price for what we got. We ordered the second largest size of charcuterie plate to share and the servers brought it over, along with plenty of bread and guided us through the different kinds of cheese and meats, where they were from and suggested wines to pair them with. The food and wine were amazing, especially considering the price (around €49 including 6 glasses of wine and dessert), and it alone almost deserved the 5* in my opinion, but the service was really what pushed it over the top. If you're in the area and looking for a wine bar, this is one place you can't miss! read more

A diamond in the rough :) The food is fantastic, the service is the most charming and warm that we found during our trip in Paris, and the prices are unbeatable (for the high quality of the food)! The space is very modern and clean. It has a warmth about it that makes you feel like you've come in out of a storm into a room with a fireplace and a ready-made cup of hot chocolate. All in, it feels like a conversation between old friends.... with fantastic food and wine. If I lived in Paris - I would definitely be a regular here. Highly recommend! read more

This place is amazing. They do cheese and meat plates with wine. You tell them what grade wine you'd like and how hungry you are. They pick the wine and put together the plates. They know their business and it is a brilliant way to spend a couple of hours just romantically chatting the evening away. You do need reservations, the place is small and always booked. I would give this place a 3.5. Great wine varieties, modern atmosphere with nice couches, the staff is super friendly and helpful. The only two things I would say is the cheese they have for the meat and cheese board is for the adventurous foodie only. We had wasabi cheese, some spicy cheese and one super stinky blue cheese. We hosted our engagement party here for 15 people, half of whom were from the Paris area while the others came from the US. It was absolutely wonderful! They set aside the area near the back for us, which was lovely because this place is always full but we had our own space. We recently hosted a private dinner & cocktail at Inaro for 65 people and it was FANTASTIC! Pierre-Alexandre and his staff were extremely helpful, accommodating and focused on making sure all of our guests had a great time. The food and drinks were spectacularly curated by the staff. Everyone raved about the cheese, fish, meat, champagne and wine selections. And the cheesecake with strawberry sauce was delicious! We hosted in mid April and got lucky with nice weather, meaning we could open the front of the restaurant, adding to the atmosphere. We didn't have a sit down meal, as Inaro doesn't have seating for 65. However, it was the perfect place for a stand up dinner/cocktail, that allowed guests to mingle comfortably and eat/drink from the generous servings placed throughout the place. We're thrilled with how Inaro worked for us and would absolutely recommend it to others. Give them a call - they're so friendly, trustworthy and helpful! read more

In June, my family and I stayed at the Renaissance hotel next door, and we went here three times during our 6 day stay in Paris. The wine is absolutely delicious. Tell them your preference, a particular flavor profile, and a price range and they will pick the perfect glass of wine for you. Additionally, the charcuterie board is divine. They have a variety of cheese and meat options and appear to only offer the freshest meats and cheeses. Elso, the adorable wine connoisseur who was tending to the restaurant the nights that we went, was knowledgable and kind. In addition to being a wonderful hang out spot, with delicious drinks and food, Elso made it feel like hanging out a friends house. Next time we are in Paris we will certainly be back! read more

There was one cheese in there that blew my mind but I had no idea what it was and didn't know how to ask :( the bread they give u is A-mazingly soft. Lovedd it. Loved it! I was not sure about the wine categories of good, better, best at first. I thoroughly enjoyed by glasses of good, but a sip of a friends best showed that these are not arbitrary categories. They know their wine and the good is indeed quite good. The shared plates of cheese, charcuterie and fish were composed of quality products. My only point of contention is that one server's pours were visibly less than the other. They've got a great vibe and it was the perfect place for a reunion of girlfriends where we could catch up with delicious wines. read more
