Stayed in Paris for a month (June 2022) and we came here every other day because the ravioli is so good- it's almost like a cheesy soup that you dip bread in until it's gone, then you eat the pasta. If I ever come back to Paris this is literally the first place I would go... However one of the waiters slapped my friend in the face and drank their wine so I have to give 4 stars instead of 5. Would recommend

We came here late on a Wednesday night with a group of 7. The service was absolutely outstanding. The recommendations were on point. I will return on my next trip to Paris.

After dropping off a Laptop to get fixed I fired up yelp and started crusing. There was a lot of great places but not that close so we decided to stay closer and browse our local locations and fell upon les artistes. Don't get Confused there's 2 restaurants the exact same one across the street was closed and we were bummed until we looked across the street and seen the same Name restaurant. We walked in around 12 pm and it was pretty empty minus a few young Persian women sharing coffee and some Bread. We were greeted by a young woman Who gave us a table close to the window. We were served menus quickly and grabbed some water right away. Bread is a must so of course we were greeted with a basket of fresh baguette. Our meals weren't the best. I got a good ol fashion cheese burger cooked medium well and it was so juicy and packed with cheese and Algerian sauce. Came with fries but they weren't fully cooked so that was no Bueno. My friend got the ravioli with mushrooms and it was okay but not Instagram post worthy. The scallops were undercooked and very watery. The risotto was actually over cooked rice with not melted cheap Parmesan flakes. The salmon tartar was thick cut and very fishy and again no Bueno. I wouldn't come back unless it's for burgers

So good! Amazing duck burgers! Took a little while to get food but was well worth it! Highly recommend

Really enjoyed my visit here. The server was very helpful and nice despite our very weak French. Food was great. Loved the area as well.

We ordered the appetizer size of the ravioli but we should have ordered the dinner size.

Sadly, the baguette was kind of mushy and not crispy. I did not enjoy the flavor compared to the other ones I've had in the neighborhood. I really wanted to love it... since I noticed several people walking down the street eating a baguette from here with the Merci Jerome bag in hand. Frankly, it was not my favorite and I ditched it after only one bite.

The croque monsieur had a generous pile of gruyère melted on the sides of the bread with a proportional amount of meat and filling on the inside. With the croque monsieur warmed up, it made a perfect brunch meal with the ube latte. The ube latte is exactly what you would expect but crafted carefully. I would just go back for this delightfully warm concoction in the morning. The service to go along with this made this experience more pleasant as it seems most of the employees were filipinos. They were quick to receive you and leave you beyond satisfied. The shop exudes the classic parisian aesthetic that most people would romanticize and I am glad I experienced it. I would come back for the pleasant experience - try out Merci Jérôme!

The portion sizes were excellent for the price. I was expecting smaller portions, so I was pleasantly surprised when my plate came out packed with food and definitely worth the value. I was very worried about the lime being extremely long due to the time we came at. But when we arrived we were told it would be about a 30 minute wait. The service does a great job managing the line and trying to pull groups out of line to fit specific spots available if they can. The manager asked if there were any groups of three available and luckily we were able to get a table quicker than we thought! We were seated outside at a very small table. The tables are very close together and it is extremely hard to move around the chairs, etc. the interior is a little less tight, but nonetheless it is still a little chaotic to go about. Service was good and our food came out within about 10-15 minutes of ordering. I loved the classic Parisian atmosphere and really enjoyed being outside. We ended up ordering their famous hot chocolate and creme, the strawberries & creme, coffees, and a croissant. The prices here are a little steep considering what you are getting. But I definitely think it's an experience and the price reflects that. The hot chocolate was extremely rich and luscious--like nothing I've had before. It was almost reminiscent is drinking straight chocolate sauce. The fresh creme that accompanied it was delightful and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I tried one of my friends strawberries and thought they were extremely fresh, but not necessarily worth the price. Cappuccino was pretty standard, but I enjoyed it. The croissant probably isn't the best in the city, but it was flaky and buttery, with lots of layers (exactly how it should be). Overall, I was happy I got to experience dining at Carette! We only waited about 30 minutes for a table and I think it was worth it. While I don't think it is life changing, I do think it is definitely worth trying and a fun experience. I enjoyed the creme that it came with just as much as the drink itself, if not more. Service was good and they ran a tight ship. If I were to go to Paris again, I wouldn't go out of my way to come here again. But if it is your first time in the city or you haven't been, I would recommend!

This is a unique dining experience for breakfast as it was a 2 course breakfast meal with orange juice. The first course was an omelet, potatoes, and salad, and the second course was a large fluffy pancake and side of mixed fruit. Everything was great! The owner is straight forward to warn larger groups of the small tight spaces up top and wards off any NBA players without helmets as their is low clearance upstairs. The menu is all French and limited English by the servers but it's easy enough to navigate. We came with 5 for Sunday brunch and sat right away but one had to sort of share space at the table. We ordered mixes of omelettes and Benedicts. All came with nice small whole potatoes and a little sour cream. You can modify or add quite a bit. Eggs are your choice of style ultimately and apparently the brunch includes pancakes. We were confused by that and they come after you've eaten the other items. I'm not sure if we paid for that or not but we chose to move on without. It came with your choice of tea or coffee AND a small orange juice. The eggs were cooked very delicately and moist with cheese and good meat in the omelette. Overall it was a fine breakfast compared to croissants and coffee but a little expensive.
