We visited on a Sunday night on the way home from San Diego as it's conveniently located right off the 5 freeway. The food was great. I got the #1 with alterations (Double Double minus onions but with extra spread), fries, and soda. The fries at In-N-Out are usually hit or miss depending on the location, time, and whoever is working but today they were winners. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I docked a star because of the condition of the dining area which was disgusting. Although busy, there were several open tables, all of which looked as though swine had been let loose...ketchup smears, pieces of lettuce, spilled drinks, wadded up dirty napkins...you get the idea.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] A reflection of the deterioration of common decency. We had to go ask for someone to clean a table. He wiped down a tabletop with a wet cloth then left. We got a bunch of napkins to dry the table and clean off the seats...nothing we could really do about the spilled food and condiments under the table other than watch where we put our feet. I've never experienced this before at any In-N-Out. Maybe it was bad timing but next time I'll keep driving north to the next city that has an In-N-Out (I guess that'd be San Juan Capistrano). read more

I like the burger. Of course the fries are garbage regardless of what they try to sell you they suck balls they could have at least par fried them and do them French style but they're cold and shitty. I don't know service, stiff and saccharin sweet, but insincere typical teenagers in retail. Better than most but I think they have more supervision here than typical drive-thru joints. This location goes crazy. There is a drive thru and a busy parking lot. I came with others so I placed the order while they held down the table. I heavily modified our order. I'm glad that the cashier stuck with me and made sure that she had my order down correctly. Everything came out just the way I requested. Even received some milk shake smelly stickers by request. I would say the parking lot could receive a bit more upkeep as I saw bags of food left next to parking spaces . This was my first time visiting the In-N-Out Burgers location in San Celemente, and unfortunately, the experience fell short of my expectations. I ordered four protein-style burgers with extra lettuce and was charged for the addition, but when I received my order, it was clear that the extra lettuce wasn't included. I went back to the counter and asked them to redo the burgers to include the extra lettuce, but instead of remaking them, they handed me a separate box with the extra lettuce. While I appreciate their effort to address the issue, it felt like a shortcut rather than the proper solution. Whoever manages this store needs to retrain their evening crew to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and customers receive the quality service they've come to expect from In-N-Out. This is an excellent In-N-Out. We arrived just as they opened at 10:30a. There were about three other people in the restaurant at the time. I always get my Double- Double protein style. And this one was AWESOME. The majority of In-N-Outs get skimpy with the lettuce. Even when I ask for extra. They don't understand that two hot burger patties wilt the lettuce VERY QUICKLY and it's messy to eat. This one was perfect. The French fries were the same as always. A few good ones and a bunch of little ones. I'm not a fan of their fries. But they were hot and flavorful. I really like the chiles. The In-N-Out near my house gives you some sliced up chiles in a little plastic container. Not nearly as fun as the whole ones like they have here.. Usually when we order in the drive thru there's no issues. That was not the case this time around. We ordered 2 Double Double's and 2 fries. We got 2 animal fries instead which was nice. Unfortunately we got the most unappetizing burgers to go with those fries. In the bag was a plain hamburger, no cheese, no lettuce, no tomato, and ketchup splattered all on the bun already. The burger was one of the most dry and flavorless burger I've ever received from In-N-Out. The line was long so maybe the workers felt rushed but that really affected the quality assurance with the orders. Do not feel bad about holding up the line to check you got the correct order. Took some Canadians to in-n-out during a beach trip. The 4 year old absolutely loved her plain cheeseburger with ketchup, I've never seen her eat so much. We got double doubles which were as delicious as always. Right when we walked in they gave the kid stickers and a paper in-n-out hat which she loved. Ate here most recently on 01June2025 and the product seems to be really consistent, in that there is so much sauce everything turns to mush. This happened multiple times. This In N Out astounds me at how the buns always seem to be over-toasted so the edges are hard and/or burnt, AND they put so much sauce on the bun/burger that everything turns into a mushy mess. While there was a long line they had a pretty good system where two employees were taking orders at your car. This made the line go much faster given the long drive up line. My order was accurate and the burger was good. Not the best burger in my opinion but decent enough with good quick service. Because I was not eating in-house I did not order the fries. Due to past experience, their fries are only good fresh and hot. Even if your only 10 minutes away the fries lose their appeal when luke warm or cold. Overall a decent burger made fresh. read more
