I've had the misfortune of needing on and off physical therapy since…read moremy early teen years as passengers in cars to more recent injuries after being attacked by a Rottweiler and the on n off bedridden times leading to many other issues & muscle atrophy. So I wanted somewhere that can treat multiple injuries and they do have aquatic therapy if needed. It's hard finding a place to go that is welcoming, still hands on during these "covid times" and has with good staff! I often felt rushed, forgotten and just eh with some others. Premier performance evaluated me efficiently and continues to ask me what areas are giving me more pain etc. Empathic, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly staff! It's a "positive energy" environment which makes all the difference. There's usually good music playing, some good conversations going on in there and they pay attention to your form when doing exercises.

I sprained my ankle pretty badly on a trip outside the country in August 2021. Jehan (Gigi) and her staff were extremely helpful in bringing my ankle back to nearly full functioning. This was my first visit ever for physical therapy and I must say I learned a lot about what they do. The staff is very professional and caring in their approach to each patient. I noticed each patient received individual attention and many of the patients has serious issues like knee replacements or were recovering from strokes. This impressed me. I mentioned to Gigi that I was an avid hiker and she did a series of flexibility tests and noted I had a deficit in the that area. I completed a section hike of the Appalachian Trail through the Great Smokey Mountains (310 miles) just before the pandemic. You can be a strong hiker but overuse certain muscle groups to the detriment of overall flexibility. I learned a series of stretching exercises that have greatly improved by walking ability. The nice think about Physical Therapy is that you can take the "lessons learned" home with you and continue to practice your exercises. And don't forget to buy your leg stretching rope!
