It's the small interactions that mean the most during times of recovery and the PTO will go out of their way to be a patient advocate for you with your doctor etc. What I did not experience is a PT sweatshop... I went in with chronic neck pain from spinal cord compression and now can say that I am CLOSE to being pain free. I had an epidural that worked to some extent, but the real relief was finding Emerald and Dr. Chloe. She is a GENIUS! Her knowledge of the systems of the body and how to use Accupuncture is beyond what I expected. She listens to your issues and then tries to help. And BOY SHE DOES! We're now working on my torn meniscus and while the pain isn't gone, it's on its way to being drastically reduced. Dr. Blair has created a unique rehabilitation practice that is a cross between the most effective PT one can get and a day at the spa. Usually a session is comprised of Accupuncture, cupping and targeted massage. I was apprehensive about just how helpful acupuncture could be BUT I AM A BELIEVER! They accept many types of insurance and while it is covered for me, I would pay if I had to. There is no price for real pain relief, and I have found it here. Give them a try before you consider the "typical" PT route. I can't say you will have the experience I have had, but I promise it will help. 5 Stars!
