Manuel is the best i've ever worked with. He walked me through all of the steps and showed me which parts of my body weren't moving the way they were supposed to. After the adjustment he showed me how it was moving the way it's supposed to. He is super nice and very knowledgeable. I will definitely be going back and would highly recommend! read more

By the time I made an appointment to see Dr. Valle, my lower back pain was so bad that I was in tear inducing pain every moment of every day. When I finally hobbled to his office on the first day, we did a thorough intake before he got to work. He has a great sense of humor to help put you at ease and he is very respectful with letting you know what he is about to do and asks permission before he proceeds. Immediately after my first visit, I felt 50% better. After my second and third visits, I felt 80 to 90% better to the point where I was able to lift and carry my 25 pound little boy again. This recovery took place over one and a half weeks. Dr. Valle did a fantastic job listening to my story. He listened to what I hoped to get out of our sessions - to focus on quality of life and be able to interact with my child again as the primary caretaker - and his communication was prompt and accurate. Scheduling could be done either in person or modified via the website with no problem. I would recommend him as a safe, knowledgeable, and friendly option if you're looking for a trusted chiropractor. read more

This is the third time I have been to see Dr Manny, each time for something different. The first time, was over 15 years ago when I was struggling with plantar fasciitis. It was no quick fix, but he got me back running again. A bonus is that I am able to wear something other than my running shoes on a daily basis - although I do still look for supportive shoes. 2 years ago an issue flared up related to my lower back and he quickly noticed how out of alignment my hips were and after a few visits, I was feeling so much better. But the reason I am writing this is because of my most recent. I was really struggling with ankle pain. I had not injured it and normally when I get this type of pain, it is an indicator that I need new shoes. But new shoes and 6 weeks of no running did not solve the problem. So I went to see Dr Manny, who showed and then explained to me how my ankle was locked up and it was affecting all sorts of things. After just one visit I was 99% better. I am thrilled and can now feel confident as I start training for a marathon. I am a very happy customer, who will be back when the next issues flares up! read more

Dr. Manny provided exceptional care during my evaluation. He was highly professional as he explained the reasons behind my lower back pain and pinpointed the underlying causes. After making adjustments, he demonstrated immediate results and helped me understand how the body functions and reacts. Dr. Valle helped me go from chronic back pain to happily moving in my body with ease. Dr. Valle is exceptionally knowledgeable and was able to provide relief and then come up with a game plan to get me back to feeling free in my body. If you read any review on the planet about Dr. Manny let it be this one: I have been suffering through the most severe, debilitating chronic sleep issues for over 2 years. Being forced to take obscene amounts of OTC and/or prescription pills every night to even try and have a chance of falling asleep, yet still waking up every single morning feeling like I got hit by a bus. Seen every doctor under the sun - western, eastern, holistic you name it. And even was actively seeing a DIFFERENT chiropractor every single week for over a year and noticed some improvement but still didn't feel like it was hitting the main cause and was still never waking up feeling rested and eventually had to stop working in my career to take care of my health full time. And hit my rock bottom. I came into Dr. Manny's office purely under the intention of actually supporting my grandma who needed chiropractic care and was planning to just watch in the corner. But by fate ended up having a quick consultation out of convenience. And in the first few sentences, was just immediately was drawn to Dr. Manny's energy. And in just one instance I felt like I could trust him. And he really could see me. After a brief 6 minute consultation and swift yet powerful adjustment on my head and neck, I left to go home and tried to just push my PTSD aside and trust and let his magic work and just hesitantly see if I could fall asleep. And without taking ANY of my dozens of normal supplements and pills that I usually do and tried to sleep with nothing in my system even though it usually takes me 2+ hours to just fall asleep... I feel asleep within TWENTY. FIVE. MINUTES. Then STAYED ASLEEP all night. Woke up early and then INSTANTLY WENT BACK TO SLEEP. And woke up feeling 30-35% better that morning ALONE after just one simply adjustment. Jaw. On. The. F*cking. FLOOR. Weeks went by and continued to get constant care and adjustments from Dr. Manny. And was shocked to notice that my MENSTRUAL CYCLE (an issue I didn't even EXPRESS to him because my sleep has just been the overwhelming priority) reduced from my current abnormal window of bleeding of 11 days back down to a normal range of 7 days with less pain and less cramps than I ever thought possible. I have less anxiety and OCD that no longer cripples my existence. I have more energy to do the things I love. I'm starting to get back into work when that wasn't an option for the past year. And I've rarely felt as aligned as I do with a practitioner like Dr. Manny who TRULY lasers in on me, knows EXACTLY what points to hit on my body, and giving me back the life I F*CKING DESERVE TO LIVE. Will never have the words to express how eternally grateful I am for all the expansion I feel in my life and my soul now as my body and spirit are only getting better day after day. And can genuinely say, that my life is forever changed. Dr. Manny doesn't just heal you. He gives you back your hope. Your sanity. And your whole entire life. And I've never been more excited to finally come back home to me. read more

Dr. Manny made me feel so comfortable when I first saw him for a painful frozen shoulder. My shoulder is now 90% back to normal and I've since referred him to my husband, daughter and mother. Dr. Manny is incredibly attentive and has been able to pinpoint our diverse areas of pain or weakness very quickly. He clearly knows bodies and more importantly, he's great with people! I'll continue to refer him to family and friends because he's truly an incredible, effective doctor! read more

Dr. Valle "miracle Manny" is absolutely the most amazing, best of the best sports injury treatment expert in the area. After literally 20+ other physicians and various treatments, he was the only one to get me back to pain-free living and running again! His knowledge of the human physiology and body mechanics is incredibly impressive, and he studies his patients carefully and individually in his treatments. He is incredibly talented in pinpointing the sources to treat, as well as how the muscles/tendons/nerves/spine connect. I am seeing him again now due to the injury flaring up again after 4 ultras last year and heavy cross-fit (yes, I overdid it). I only wish I had come to him first. Again now, I am finally feeling a difference on a path to recovery. Thank you Miracle Manny for all you do for me and your patients! read more

Dr Valle is one of a kind and has made a huge impact on my overall wellbeing. I drive 45 minutes EACH way to receive his expert care. A few years ago I was having severe neck pain / burning in my right shoulder that within just a few visits improved and pain free. Recently, I find myself back in his office for issues with my posture that are causing back pain. He listens and immediately understands the root issue and explains the treatment plan in a way I can understand. His knowledge of the human body is impressive and I highly recommend him! Thank you Dr Manny for helping improve the quality of my life so i can play and be more present with my son!! read more

I highly recommend Dr. Valle. After searching for over a decade (12 years to be exact) to resolve mid back and right shoulder pain. Constant pain, muscle spasms, limited mobility, etc. I tried everything, Including another Livermore Chiro that wasted years of my life running me through their same 3 adjustments week after week with no improvement. I tried massage, I tried physical therapy, I tried acupuncture. Nothing worked. Finally I was recommended to Dr. Valle by someone I trusted dearly and figured, what have I got to lose? From the 1st minute of the 1st visit visit I could tell he was different. Asking questions, watching how my body stretched and moved. Then he got to work, not too much at first, we would spread the treatment over a few initial appointments and then go from there. I am not going to lie - those first adjustments hurt. My mid back was so tight that the adjustment was definitely not comfortable. Luckily Dr. Valle has the strength and knowledge to know how much pressure is the right pressure. Dr. Valle said that each visit it would get easier and it has. That mid back is finally starting to loosen up, after YEARS! I am now (after 3 visits) totally pain free and feel fantastic. I am now able to exercise like I haven't in years when I was always bracing myself for that next muscle spasm as I moved. I am sleeping better than ever and I am grateful for Dr. Valle. He does adjustments to my body that I haven't ever seen before. Feet, hands, fingers, toes, lower legs, he really makes sure that the whole body is in sync. Highly, highly recommended. Health is wealth. Go get yours. -Nick read more

I've been training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for 10 years and first saw Dr. Valle 7 years ago for a shoulder injury. He helped me understand the underlying problem with the shoulder, and after years of working with him (along with a lot of independent reading and functional mobility training), I've completely transformed my body from stiff and injury-prone to strong and resilient. I worked very hard to rehabilitate many of the injuries I accumulated over my life, but I could not have done it without Dr. Valle's help and guidance. I'm forever grateful, thank you so much! read more

Dr. Valle is not just a chiropractor. He is expert in several modalities one especially that deals with soft tissue. It is clear he is very knowledgeable and loves what he does. He explains everything he does and the difference between a before and after treatment is amazing. I am visiting from VA to meet my first grandchild and feel so blessed that I found him. I only wish that I could clone him and bring him home with me. read more

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Valle back in November 2012. Initially, I had thought I was suffering from a herniated disc but it turned out to be a pinched nerve instead. He showed me some stretches and how to prevent these injuries in the future. As I remember, his staff was professional and courteous. However, reading current reviews, he seems to be much busier these days! It was a cinch getting an appointment 5 years ago! Bummer he doesn't accept Anthem Blue Cross anymore. Well...back to the drawing board for a good chiro in Livermore. read more

My husband started seeing Dr Manuel Valle for chronic neck pain that was getting so bad that he was having to take ibuprofen nearly every day to get on with his daily life. He was referred to Dr Valle by a coworker with back problems who claimed "he changed his life". My husband would say the same thing now because as soon as he started seeing him he is free from pain most days and no longer takes any anti inflammatories. I finally decided to see Dr Valle myself after having mysterious tailbone pain that seemed to start for no apparent reason and was getting worse instead of better on its own. I was in pain for over 6 months. Now my tailbone pain is gone and hasn't returned and I've only seen him 3 times. My first appointment he did a head to toe evaluation. He noticed every little thing from how I stand with one foot turned out to holding my right shoulder higher than my left etc. Each appointment he did something a little different and after each appointment there was major progress towards my goal. On my third appointment he actually straightened my pelvis which has been crooked since at least high school (I had no idea that could be fixed) and my tail bone pain is gone. Now I'm going to continue seeing him to work on some 15+ years old shoulder issues. I drive a long way to see Dr. Valle but when you find someone so amazing that you completely trust it's worth the drive! I recommend him whole heartedly to all my friends and family! read more

Dr Valle is FANTASTIC!! He is a wealth of knowledge in body mechanics, and explains everything to you, shows you how your body is stiff or not moving properly, only to adjust you and instantly show you how much more fluid, comfortable and stronger you feel when your in proper alignment!! His ART technique is by far the best I've found. I'm a triathlete and he has taken my body mechanics to another level. I have never felt so good. I have always had a bad connotation about going to a Chiropractor. That once you go, you'll always have to or else! On the contrary... I had a headache for a week straight and then some. I saw my doctor and had every test done that I could do. I did everything I could do including 2 Acupuncture visits. Nothing helped. After 2 visits to Dr. Valle it was completely gone. Dr. Valle helps me understand my body more and also educates and encourages me to apply more self-care. I highly recommend you understand that the negative reviews for him were not the norm and that you check him out for yourself! read more

I had birth defect in my ankle that never allowed me full range of motion. This decreased motion caused problems with my knees, hips, and lower back. I had surgery when I was 16 with partial success but still could never really run and play sports and even walk/stand like others. After just a few months of seeing Dr. Valle, I am astonished to see 98% range of motion in that ankle. My parents are flabbergasted! And I am excited to do the work (ie physical therapy exercises) to get to a point where I can just strap on sneakers and get in a 2-mile run! (Yes, the hip, knee and lower back pain are MUCH better too) Oh, and speaking of shoes.. I have worn custom orthopedic inserts in my shoes for years... Guess what -- over the past couple of weeks I have pulled those out and stuck them in a closet because I don't need them anymore! Dr. Valle is an amazing doctor, respectful of personal space and extremely kid-friendly. As a dad himself, he understands kids well and even played movies on his iPad for my daughter while she gradually got used to my adjustment sessions. A HUGE improvement in my quality of life -- definitely recommend Dr. Valle! read more

I chose Dr. Valle for chiropractic treatment because of his certification in ART. I had been seeing a physician chiropractor referred by my medical insurance for a few months with slow progression being treated twice a week. I have been to different chiropractors and PTs to solve a leg issue I have been dealing with and they were not able to find a clear reason for the source of my pain. When I visited Dr Valle he figured out the issue just from watching me walk and then preformed procedures to verify and fix the problem that ended up being my hips. I appreciate how thoroughly he checks all the mechanics of the body and how he easily explains the science behind what he is doing. Dr valle is honest, skilled and easy going. Dr. Valle is super knowledgeable, hella strong and has helped me with pain, movements and injuries. When I first met Dr. Valle, I was all hurty and sad. Super sad on account of my back. I had been receiving excellent care in Oakland, but I moved. Then I waited too long to find a new chiropractor. My own damn fault. Luckily, Dr. Valle was there to put me back together. It took a few visits to get me back to "normal", but he did it. And bless his heart, Dr. Valle only laughs at me a little when I whine and complain about how much ART hurts. It doesn't really hurt; I'm just a big baby. So happy to have found you, Dr. V!!! read more

I have been taking my soccer goalie son to Dr. Valle for several years now with GREAT SUCCESS! I have had an injury for over 40 years now and just suffered with the pain and discomfort. Dr. Valle, in my first visit, relieved my pain immediately! I understood that now my body would have to adjust to its correct position so there would be some discomfort until my body got used to being in its correct position. After my third visit, I realized just how knowledgeable, understanding, and capable Dr. Valle is! The man is great at what he does! As far as I am concerned, there is no one better, MAYBE equal, but certainly no one better than Dr. Valle! I highly recommend this man and have absolutely NO COMPLAINTS, JUST PRAISE! Thank you Dr. Valle, you gave me back my ability to move about pain free and sleep again! read more

When you come in for a specific problem, the chiropractor explains his philosophy is to take a holistic approach by adjusting all parts of your body, which he says may be contributing to the problem, so he'll crack your feet, toes, knees, wrists, elbows, back, ribs, and neck, even if only one of those is giving you a problem. He recommends three sessions a week to start out and then lowers that frequency if things are getting better. On one of my visits, he slipped trying to crack one of my toes and unfortunately caused the toe joint to have instability, so now it's been giving me some pain when I step on it a certain way. I'm hoping it will get better, but I won't be coming back. You have to sign a waiver accepting these kinds of risks going into this treatment, so be warned, things like this can happen. read more

In 2008 after having to drop out of the San Jose marathon due to chronic hip pain, my orthopedic dr at John Muir Medical Center diagnosed me with early osteoarthritis and claimed I would eventually need a hip replacement. However, he claimed I was too young for the surgery and the only thing I could do at this point was to quit running altogether. Not wanting to believe it, I began my quest to find an alternative treatment, trying physical therapy, acupressure, acupuncture, chiropractic--you name it! I even did as my medical dr ordered and quit running. All to no avail. By the time I began seeing Dr Valle in April of 2011, I was in so much pain, at times I had to use a cane to walk. My recovery began with my very first visit, and within just four months of treatment, I was not only running again, I had competed in my first triathlon! My only complaint is that, although my insurance would have paid 100% of my hip replacement--which wouldn't have done a bit of good because the underlying problem would not even have been addressed--they will not pay a dime towards the treatment that actually worked. Luckily, Dr Valle offers a discount to cash paying patients! I now refer everyone I know who has physical ailments to Dr Valle, confident in knowing he can help them. His experience with Active Release Technique and Kinesio taping sets him far apart from your average chiropractor. Dr Valle Rocks!! read more

Follow up: I received a call this morning from In Motion Chiropractic. They apologized for the mixup on their end and offered me an appointment today free of charge. I decided to give them another shot and took the 12:30pm appt. Dr. Valle was very apologetic and friendly. He cares a lot about his patients and my last review was not overlooked by him. He wanted to make it right and he did. Dr. Valle took his time to diagnose my lower back pain issue. He had me go through a series if motions to see where the problem was stemming from. I am six and a half months pregnant and I have been experiencing lots of tightness on my right side and a sharp pain in my lower back. Dr. Valle noticed that the way I get up from sitting is incorrect and I am putting more strain on my back. He showed me the correct way to get up without putting strain on my back. (Having a big pregnant belly makes the simplest tasks difficult! Lol) Dr. Valle was able to perform a few adjustments on my back and massaged the areas that were tight. My back didn't feel as tight anymore. He also taped my back and said that it will help keep things in place and will give me some relief. I have to keep the tape on for 3-7 days. I already feel a big difference. I have a follow up appointment next week with Dr. Valle. I am so happy that I am finally getting some relief from my back pain caused by my pregnancy. Dr. Valle is awesome. read more

I had a disc injury between L4 & L5. For 10 years I tried to manage the pain through chiropractic care and really any means possible. I saw about half a dozen chiropractors, an acupuncturist, countless orthopedic specialists, and finally a friend who had the same problem as I did, referred me to Dr. Valle. It was a bit of a drive since I live in Danville, but for the first time I felt like someone was taking the time to understand the root of my problem instead of just treating the symptoms. He explained it as though he was peeling back the layers of an onion to get to what actually caused my back injury in the first place. It wasn't easy for me. The active release therapy he used was painful, but I saw instant results and after going diligently for several months, (and not so diligently for a couple more... I started feeling better and missing appointments and it made the treatment last longer) I've finally been pain free for the last year! Thank you Dr. Valle and staff! It wouldn't be too dramatic to say that he gave me my life back. I just got home from Costa Rica where I went zip lining, read more

As a former owner of a fighting gym, I was aware of the many injuries that people experience. I even had a few myself, everything from shoulder issues to tight hips etc... One day an elite world class fighter told me, he had been diagnosed by 5 or 6 doctors who said he would never fight again. I knew a thing or two about body work, and how the combinations of techniques that Dr. Valle employed would help his issues. In my opinion, a lot of medical doctors just shovel pain pills in your face. I felt this guy needed some hands on work, within a month of treatment from Dr. Valle the fighter was back on TV winning a belt! I know that as we age or workout hard, we pull things out of alignment. It is pretty simple, since I feel it when it happens to me. I feel that it is great to get an adjustment, but not all doctors do this on the same level. Dr. Valle is extremely precise and thorough, I get instant results and pain relief from my visits to him. As someone who knows a thing or two about injuries, I highly recommend that you check out Dr. Valle if your are in pain. read more

Dr. Valle was recommended to me by fitness coach, Chris, of One World Boot Camp in Union City, after a running injury turned into a bigger problem. I have been going to this office for about 3 months now and I highly recommend it. The treatments have certainly helped me to heal as well as gain strength. For between sessions, the clinic uses Rock Tape to better support your injury with flexible security and stabilization. In addition to the helpful treatment, Sam, the office and doctor manager, is very professional, organized and welcoming. Not only does she keep the office flow moving, but she assists with the physical therapy homework lessons. You have to do your homework to get better, and she ensures that you do. If you are considering treatment for soreness or injury, do not hesitate to call and explain your situation. Dr. Valle and Sam will take good care of you. read more

I had an injury to my hand that had left scarring and fairly constant pain. I happened to see Dr. Valle at a fair downtown, where he explained ART to me and gave me a demo to show how he could treat my hand. I was impressed immediately with this technique and came to see Dr. Valle for an ART treatment.. Instead of just focusing on my hand, he asked me many questions about prior injuries, type of work, etc. He advised he treats "head to toe" and gave me probably the most thorough chiropractic adjustment I've ever had. I was surprised at how many different spots he fixed on me and how much better I felt even after the first visit! .He also provided some exercise and stretching techniques to help me avoid future problems He is very knowledge in different technique (ART and Graston to name two) and really listens to you, adjusting each treatment to your current condition. His manner is very gentle and patient.I had heard he was awesome with athletes but he treats the rest of us with just as much attention and expertise. It's obvious that he loves his work and it shows in the results. read more

I've had chronic lower back and shoulder problems for several years. Over the course of my life, I have seen about five different Chiropractors- some good, some not. HANDS DOWN, Dr. Manny provides the best care I've ever received. Dr. Manny came highly recommended from several friends who are cross fit athletes. Dr. Manny started with a one hour assesment of my body. He ran me through several exercises and watched how my body moved, stretched, stood, and sat. He is through. He then accurately described what I was feeling BEFORE I told him what I was experiencing. He quickly and accurately diagnosed the problems. He adjusts feet, elbows, ankles, knees, the neck, back, hips, and will tape/ graston areas that need attention. He will also offer comprehensive exercises that will guide you through/to recovery. Everytime I see him, I feel energized, refreshed, and better. I highly recommend this office. read more

Dr. Manny is a great chiropractor. Aside from the wonderful techniques hes uses in his practice, he is a very personable doctor. I came to him with an immovable elbow and in only two visits I was able to use my left arm on a regular basis. He used ART and Graston which are both for my injury. I also have my daughter receiving treatment from him. She was experiencing lower back pain combined with spasms. After suffering with chronic progressive knee pain for over six months, I went to see my orthopedic surgeon. His diagnosis: early onset arthritis. His recommendation: stop doing the activities that I love if I didn't want to make matters worse. Oh, and steroid shots if the pain became unbearable. No more crazy endurance races... no more powerlifting... no more dancing in fabulous stilettos...???!!! As you can probably surmise, I'm a not the sit-at-home-on-the-couch type. I left the orthopedic surgeon's office thinking, "I'm too young to just throw in the proverbial towel", which in my case was sports bras and stilettos. Determined not to let this diagnosis defeat me, I set out in search of something/someone who could help me keep going at maximum level as long as possible. Enter: In Motion Chiropractic and Dr. Valle Having gone to chiropractors before, I wasn't a firm believer in them. Yeah, they crack your back and adjust your neck, but beyond that, mehhhh. I found Dr. Valle on Yelp. He had excellent reviews, he was local and my insurance covered him, so I decided it wouldn't hurt to give him a shot. I mean, really, what was there to lose? After an extremely thorough initial exam (lasting almost 2 hours), I walked out of his office amazed. He literally made adjustments on me from head to toe. (Have you ever had your feet cracked...? Well, let me tell you, it's heaven!) We discussed the arthritis diagnosis. Being a fellow lover of heavy weights, he understood my reluctance to stop pushing myself. What's the use of doing a squat if you can't even go down to 90 degrees? And reducing the weight? Do you know how hard I've worked to reach a 300lb PR?! Dr. Valle understood my concerns and promised to do what he could to get me back into fighting shape. I'm not gonna lie, as heavenly as the foot adjustments are, some of the other techniques used aren't quite as pleasant. Graston... I've gotta concentrate on finding my happy place when he pulls out the tools. ART... have you ever had something hurt so bad yet feel so good. If you're in the waiting room and hear someone laughing and crying at the same time, that'll be me. Granted, Dr. Valle knows that I'm serious about treatment and to not hold back. He's never made me say "uncle"... a few other choice words perhaps, but never "uncle". The results of his treatments are felt almost immediately. I've actually limped into my appointment and skipped out. Bottom line: Dr. Valle is amazing. He kept his initial promise to me. Arthritis... what arthritis?? My knees don't bother me at all. He's also fixed various other injuries I've inflicted upon myself. Sprained ankle...done. Impinged shoulder...all good. Misaligned pelvis (don't even bother asking how I did that)...fixed. I still rock the stilettos almost every day. And as for my 300lb PR... I rep that for breakfast now. All thanks to Dr. Valle. read more

Dr. Valle is still an outstanding Chiropractor IF you are lucky to get an appointment scheduled. The phone is never answered and if you leave a message you may or may not receive a message within a week or 2. I've referred 2 friends who have tried to make appointments and their messages were never answered. I don't give out many referrals but when I do and the office doesn't bother returning calls, it lessens my raving reviews. The last time I went to visit Dr. Valle I had to physically go into the office to make an appointment after several messages went unanswered. Once I made my appointment (1.5 months away) I find out my appointment was canceled (NOT by me). For someone who was looking for pain relief, I think I was pretty accommodating waiting a month and a half but when I found out my appointment had been canceled I nearly lost it. Note: Dr. Valle did squeeze me into his schedule that day. I tried again today to make an appointment and as usual I got the answering machine. Unfortunately, I do not have the time to walk in and make an appointment. Seeking back relief elsewhere. :( read more
